Poonam is just the most amazing person ever. In all seriousness you hear horror stories about the stress involved and chasing when buying a house ,but we didn't have to chase once. In fact Poonam was so proactive the whole time, informing us of every step so we were always clear what was happening, she provided us with regular updates. She was always one step ahead. Always happy to answer all our questions no matter how silly they were. Also the response to each question was incredibly prompt. Poonam has made our whole buying process an absolute dream and really has gone above and beyond for us. We can't thank you enough!

Great service provided by Poonam Vadera with the purchase of our property. The sale took around 3 months to complete. Poonam was very professional and was always on hand to answer all my queries. Her assistant Mohammed Patel was also very helpful in Poonam's absence.
In comparison to other firms the prices are very fair. We will definatly use PA Todd in the future when and if required.

Extremely happy with the service provided by Miss Rabi Miah and her colleagues at PA Todd. The quote was competitive. The whole experience was a like a stroll in the park compared to our last property purchase. The Hoowla app helped me to keep track of the entire process, download documents and communicate easily. We went with P A Todd in regards to the purchase of my first property. Our solicitor Poonam Vadera made the whole process very swift and easy, with succinct communication throughout length of service. Her being bilingual made this even easier as she was able to communicate in Gujarati to rest of family, so everyone in all parties were able to understand the process directly from her.
Any enquires we had were immediately explained, through her via phone, or by reception staff. Mohammed at reception would phone every interval to update on where we are in the process, next steps and how long is due to completion.
Overall, very satisfied and would 100% recommend as no issues regarding service occurred throughout.

I've used this firm for a re-mortgage with Al Rayan and found Rabi Miah (the assigned solicitor) to be knowledgeable, helpful and taking ownership of the case. Recently used P A Todd and co for sale and purchase of property, poor service throughout, they hardly ever contacted me about the progress on odd occasions they'd instead contact my estate agents, WHY? When they are dealing with myself, the client. We knew or estate agents very well, as they were local to us and knew us personally and they never hesitated to contact us once they finished talking to the Solicitors. There was one point where my estate agents contacted me saying my solicitor has put a hold on everything as they've not been paid for starting fee, which i knew nothing about untill my estate agents rang and told me this then but a hold on our progress.
We sent everything back to them straight away (due to COVID-19) was working through calls (which hardly ever happened unless asking for money) or through email which wasn't very clearly instructed on what needed to be done, yet they withheld information for 4 weeks before i received a call querying the same information they already had and they weren't aware all that paperwork and didn't even look at it.
Using the same Solicitors for selling and buying thought would be easier as they are in the same department/building etc. But no i had to act as a go between whilst also working full time still.
Made our move very stressful right up to moving/completion day where i had a call off them to ring the estate agents for a update on funds. I'm sorry but ain't that what you get paid for? And there was no confirmation on moving date then when we had one had a call, again from estate agent NOT Solicitors saying the move might not happen on the given date, due to funds (at this point already booked time off from work to accommodate the move)
Very poor service wouldn't recommend to much stress and hassle for my liking. Sorry

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with P A Todd and their lovely staff, they came highly recommended by my friends and it was definitely a great decision to hire them to represent me for my home purchase plan.
I was being represented by the brilliantly professional Nazira Alimahomed, who managed to complete our case so unbelievably quickly considering we were buying a property during the peak of the pandemic.
It was a long and stressful procedure dragged out by the seller's and lender's advisors, but Nazira didn't waste a day and made sure we were able to move into our new home problem free.
PA Todd is a fantastic firm, with some of best legal advisors in the UK, highly skilled, honest, and most importantly they are a team of highly motivated professionals.
As I am based in London and also bought my property here as well, I could have easily hired a solicitor more local to me, but I was happy to speak to PA Todd and didn't hesitate for a second to pick a firm in Leicester because of their fantastic reputation.
