The Craggy team are the best! Always friendly, welcoming and encouraging (even to people taking up climbing way older than they should...). Brilliant with the kids classes. Super helpful whether with climbing advice, logistics or admin. Very relaxed environment, not the least bit intimidating to get started. Resets are frequent so you never get bored (and have an incentive to master that challenging route before it gets changed...). Good facilities and equipment, but it's the team that make this place the best.

Great place to explore climbing or for children’s parties. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are spots for spectators to sit and relax or watch. There’s a football table to play on to.

Some of the best climbing you can find in London! Really nice staff and a great community. A great variety of climbs from easy to hard! Great woody aswell! Unfortunately they don't always have Redbull in stock but that can be overlooked.

Very good place for kids, there are plenty of rock climbing walls and man made caves. The building overlooks a golf course. Would recommend visit.

This place is larger than it looks from the outside. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a great place for children’s birthday parties and has a large private party room. In addition to climbing, you can have a go at cave exploring in the man made caves. I know many adults in the area who love the variety of rock climbing options at this gym.

Not very helpful at all. Tried to ask about 7 year old doing a taster half hour. Negative reply to each question I had

This is a great climbing gym with friendly welcoming staff. Best place to boulder indoors in the south east. Hard routes but plenty for beginners too.

Craggy has some great routes. There is a good variety of overhangs and slabs; slopers and crimps. Although it's small, it has great variety. It's also very friendly. Grades here are definitely different to other gyms - they are graded a lot harder here than any other gym I've tried. It's best not to worry too much about it, and just get on with some climbing. I did some initial training here, and it got me hooked on bouldering, so was good value for money.

Small but powerful. Craggy 2 has the most intelligent and satisfying route-setting of all the London climbing gyms. The routes are generally more challenging at Craggy, and the focus is that you just climb, rather than obsess over your grade. The size of the gym is never an issue and there is always ample space -compared to the over-crowded gyms in central London. Craggy is child-friendly, and has a really friendly staff and clientele that welcome people of all ages and abilities. (the music is great, please don't change it)

A very good bouldering wall with well set interesting problems at all grades(the ones I could do anyway). Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

A great place for challenging climbs. But as a beginner.. The options are a little limited. That said, it's a good place to give you some perspective of what you need to strengthen to take on some of the medium level climbs :)

This place is growing on me. A few months ago I would have only given it 2 stars. Firstly, here are the things that annoy me about the place: - They use the French grading system. Just use V grades like everyone else!! - The colour coding of routes is horrendous. They will have a wall with a red route, a pink route, a red and white route, and an orange route. After a bit of chalk, everything looks identical so you have no idea which holds are yours. It's an additional challenge I don't need! - Terrible choice of music. You can't climb to rock music or heavy death metal...it just doesn't work! - The climbing room is also a training area, and men and women get changed together. - Pretty small...not that many climbs. - People seem less friendlier than other climbing walls. - Some of the staff are less friendlier than other climbing walls! (Never the ones at reception...just the ones walking around on the floor). - On weekends they often close off the traverse wall for children's parties. - More expensive than other climbing walls. But despite all of this, I have been coming here a lot more. The main benefit of this wall is the setting is exceptional, and more challenging than anywhere else. They have a lot of crimpy problems that other walls seem to shy away from. The overhang section seems a lot higher than any other wall. This is a good wall for intermediate and advanced climbing. Which is good because it attracts a lot of good climbers who you can learn from. There is ample of parking too.

Super friendly staff and a good variety of routes to cater for all abilities. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get into bouldering, or more experienced climbers looking to train on routes that are reset regularly and creatively. Great place!

Went for a kids taster session with my 7yr old who thoroughly enjoyed herself. Climbing supervision for the kids was great & facilities for a waiting parent were spot on.

Not as good as a lot of other bouldering centres. Vague grading system. Not a lot for beginners and no easy way of differentiating between difficulty levels. Their "easy", "medium" and "hard" routes have so much overlap it's really hard to know what to climb without trying everything. The problems do seem well set. I can't comment on frequency of resetting having only been once. There's a lot of routes considering the size of the place. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's not cheap either.

Great fun. They have a number of rooms with different climbs and an area for traversing. They had a caving area as well. I went with my 5 year old daughter and we both loved it. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic place to train, tone and socialise with plenty of mixed ability routes that are changed regularly to keep things interesting. The caving system is great for youngsters and a nice challenge for adults as it's really confined in places -- claustrophobics need not apply obviously!! Always friendly staff and climbers around and a generally great place to work off the stresses of the week. Any gear you might need can be hired for a reasonable cost. Much recommended!

Craggy has become my favourite place to go that doesn't serve beer and is rivalling many of the places that do. Great staff, good music and very cheap, especially for students - would highly recommend!

I didn't hate this place, but I'm pretty disappointed about a few things. The routes are colour coded, but they don't relate to a specific grade, they're just written on a blackboard, so the walls are a mess of colours that don't really mean anything. They also don't use the standard boulder grading system (v1-v16), which seems odd for a bouldering only centre. Otherwise it's wonderful for such a small building, plenty of routes of all grades, plenty of slabs and overhangs, a couple of hangboards, three campus boards, a fake sandstone boulder section and a caving section. £12 a session (without shoe hire) did seem a bit much for the size of the place though, and because of the unnecessarily disorganised colour system I left there wanting to go to a different place to finish my session.

Can be a bit cold during winter, but due to its location, not often too busy. Some nice, tall walls and some very satisfying intermediate climbs. Could do with some more technical routes, there's a lot of stuff that seems to rely mostly on strength.

Good place to go climbing. Location is a bit difficult to find 1st time but once you have - its not a problem afterwards. Small friendly staff - don't make you feel like an outsider - always willing to help and support whenever you need it. The folks who climb there are always willing to pass on knowledge and help you out whenever you need it as well.
