My overall experience with Fastlane repairing my vehicle was incredibly frustrating, and I wouldn't let them carry out the repair on my vehicle if it was ever required again in the future. The good: /The end result was good. The colour matches the rest of the car and the bodywork was repaired. You wouldn't know that side had been impacted. A good repair is my absolute minimum expectation from a manufacturer approved body repair shop though. I also expect a decent experience, and I don't have anything good to say about the experience. The bad: /There was several delays, with the whole thing taking around a month. (the car sat there for 6 days before they even began to strip it, and 11 days before the repairs even started) /There was mechanical damage aswell which they ignored and tried to say it was 'unrelated'. (they eventually fixed it after my frustrated phone call) /After the work, it took several emails and calls to simply get a receipt for all of the work that had been done (it really should be standard for a customer to get some paperwork following the repairs) /Empty fuel tank when collecting the car /Despite their 'human error' which caused my car to return to their workshop, fuel was not replaced nor compensation for the 50+ miles added to the car as a result o their error. The worst: When the car was 'ready for collection' it had to go back to them again as the rear bumper was horribly misaligned. The brake lights stuck out and it was not flush. I'm no professional but spotted it first time I saw it. There was also an issue with the wheel arch cover sticking out as it had not been put back in properly. I don't understand how 'professionals' would look at the car and say that's ready for collection. Even if 1 person did the repair, and they messed up, surely another person at fastlane would look at the car before it is returned to the customer? How about the fastlane rep who does the handover to me? No, apparently not. Or if they did, they just didn't care. So I collected the car again and it was definitely not acceptable. It had to go back to be realigned. When I collected the car again for the second time, I found clips which hold the internal/underneath of the car together in the drivers side door. I have no idea if these clips were forgotten about or if they've replaced them. But either way, why were they left in my door? They didn't get it right first OR second time, and I wasn't giving them a third chance. I took my car back when it was 'acceptable', but I certainly am not satisfied. Summary: Unprofessional, clearly don't care about the work they've done. Slow, so very slow. I got tired of the excuses. Couldn't put even £10 fuel in the car despite getting almost £6k from the repairwork - AND their 'human error' causing the car to go back to them for a second time -Not a happy customer

I cannot fault the service that I received from Fastlane/Mercedes-Benz Brooklands. Lino kept me updated regularly about how the repair was progressing and when the car was returned to me, it looked as though it had just come out of the showroom and in concourse condition. I received door-to-door service with a loan car being dropped-off and collected whilst my car was in the care of Fastlane. I can't recommend the quality of the repair and their service highly enough. A slightly frustrating experience, but was resolved in the end. The main repair work (large damage to side) was done very well, however when I asked about touch up work to the rest of the car they weren't really interested (I assume no money in it for them). To make matters worse, when I got the car back the sub-woofer in the rear parcel shelf was blown! EDIT: Credit due to Fastlane, they collected my car and resolved the issue with the sub-woofer. It took a few weeks, but we got there in the end. I would say I just got unlucky but you can be confident any issues like mine will be resolved.

BRENDFORD branch is more than just helpful - these guys simply ROCKS! I wanted to thank you for a brilliant job repairing my VW Scirocco. The paint work repair, car repair and cleaning were carried out to a very high standard. Just as important for me has been the excellent customer service. Fastlane were able to accommodate my booking requirements. Get ready for nasty surprises. My insurer recommended alternative repair shop but I wanted my car to be fixed at MB Brooklands, even though I had a charge for the courtesy car. Big mistake. Completed work “their way” and later admitted I had reasons to be dissatisfied. Solutions? “Make a complain”.

Absolute joke of a company Had a problem with my car that led to some body work damage. I instructed them not to proceed until an investigation had taken place by the manufacturers. They ignored my request and completed the work without my permission. Claimed that because I didnt respond to an email with a price this constituted as accepting the work could be done. Then came and took the loan car from my house with no warning so I had no choice but to pay for the work I did not authorise. steer away from these cowboys if you can.

Waited a week for a quote, then had to chase constantly for 2 days to actually get it. Promised calls never returned, then the quote I received was more than double that of other quality body shops. Seems like they just didn't care. Very poor service.
