James was professional, highly knowledgeable and offered the perfect watch solution. He then went over and above to arrange for my wife and I to come in on the bank holiday so that I could surprise her with the watch. This was my second time purchasing from Prestons and all I can say is WOW, there customer service is absolutely incredible. I have dealt with Manisha on both occasions and she has been absolutely amazing and such a lovely lady. I would also like to thank James for taking the time to chat with us aswell and having a good laugh and a joke. I can’t recommend this store highly enough. Your made to feel so at ease and relaxed in the store unlike so many other retailers within the same industry.

I've purchased a ring and a watch from Prestons in Guildford over the last year. Lukas was very helpful in helping me choose the right watch for me to start off my collection. The staff are always very attentive, and as a watch enthusiast it's great to be able to go in and talk with genuine experts about the different options. James and Vicky have also been very helpful throughout the pandemic. From changing my watch strap to collecting a Chistmas gift - nothing has been too much trouble. Thanks Prestons Guildford!

How happy are we that we’ve found a jewellers that looks after us so well. Chris, Vicky and the team go to such lengths to ensure that we always receive the best customer service, with the added personal touch. I’ve needed to have my engagement and eternity rings resized a few times and they are always so supportive. My rings always returned sparkly clean too. Their knowledge is second to none and their range of jewellery and watches is so broad we really don’t need to go anywhere else. Purchased my second Rolex watch from Prestons Guildford yesterday. The service provided by James and Chris was second to none. James managed to find me a watch in under a week just before Christmas. I can’t speak highly enough of James and the team at Prestons Guildford, they’re very friendly and attentive. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the incredible customer service that I have consistently received over the last 18 months.
Vicky went above and beyond to source and acquire my dream watch and is absolutely delightful to deal with.
Tom did the hand over and took time to explain all the features and size the watch perfectly to my wrist. Despite being there some 45 minutes after the store had officially closed - I was not rushed.
Toms knowledge is truly outstanding and his passion for watches is evident in the way he talks about them. I am so impressed with the service received I took the time to do this review - something I don't usually do.

What a pleasure it is to deal with Prestons in Guilford. I am lucky enough to deal with retailers of other high-end brands but none of them reach the heights of the customer service received at this branch. My first purchase was with Chris who is outstanding. For my second purchase Chris was furloughed due to the Covid crisis and a 'click and collect' was arranged with James who was equally outstanding and knowledgeable. Vicky, the branch manager, is just so good at what she does and has a wonderful team supporting her. I can't wait for the next purchase!

Went into to ask if the company was recruiting, was told at 11am "we are currently busy, come back in 20 minutes." I return back to be greeted by a guy who's barely left school who was in fact polite and professional, whilst the person who originally told me to come back in 20 minutes, was hiding behind him and completely avoiding eye-contact. Very unprofessional and snobby. It looks like the other 5* reviews are fake too!

My experience at Prestons was exemplary from start to finish. Tom and James looked after me so well in a professional and friendly manner. I was looking for a specific model of watch but there are long waits for them and no stock available to look at. Coincidentally Tom owned the piece I was looking for and he very kindly brought it to the store for me to try on and look at, what service! I have today walked away with watch and am completely thrilled with it. I would 100% recommend them.

What a glorious place. I have been coming to Prestons for 6 years now, and have now bought a number of watches both new and used, and indeed have introduced family members and friends to Vicki and James and the team over the years who have also now become Prestons fans and customers.
My first Rolex purchase was for my wife as a surprise present, getting a watch into an easter egg was no problem at all - and a big hit on easter Sunday I can confirm.
Its always a pleasure to go into a shop and have committed, happy, knowledgeable staff that take time to talk to you, have huge knowledge of their products and are genuinely as immersed in the detail as you are.
I couldn't recommend the Guildford team highly enough, they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with over many years now, and countless transactions.

I contacted Preston’s in Guildford on the off chance they might have a Rolex Milgauss at some stage in the future, seeing as they haven’t been open due to Covid 19 Lockdown.
James called me the following day to tell me they could have me one within the week, I had got really lucky!
After paying online James told me he would bring the watch personally to my home. A few days later James was dropping off the watch to me, with social distancing measures adhered completely, I was wearing my new watch within 10 mins of him arriving.
Amazing service all round, James was excellent to deal with, as was the whole payment procedure and the personal drop off to my home was a very special service I wasn’t expecting.
I couldn’t speak any higher of the whole process and will certainly be contacting James again the future for my next watch...

I needed a valuation done on a Rolex I have purchased overseas.I have tried waiting for a sports model for months in UK but failed to secure one.
I spoke to Goldsmith who told me I have to hand my watch over for at least 3 weeks and £65 fee.
I have also spoken to Wakefield’s Horsham where I bought my previous Rolex from, the person in charge was to call me back but did not.
I was out shopping and stumbled upon Prestons Guildford.
A young gentleman opened the door and I was treated very well.
Then another gentleman appeared, he too was very friendly.
I asked about the valuation, handed over my watch for inspection. £30 was collected and a valuation would be sent to my home address.
What a breeze.
Totally professional.
I will be using them from now onwards.

Whilst inspecting they offered a glass of Bollenger that was lovely and truly made the whole experience feel special!

I have been a customer of Prestons Guildford for the past 2 years. I am an avid watch fan and when my mother retired and wanted to purchase a Rolex watch to commemorate this milestone, Prestons is where we went. We deal with James and his knowledge of horology is 2nd to none, he wasn’t pushy and took the time and effort to find the right pieces for my mum. We have continued to deal with Prestons ever since, and consider them part of our family. We often pop in for the odd coffee or glass of champagne whilst shopping in Guildford and are always made to feel welcome. I cannot recommend them highly enough, every member of their team is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We always feel welcome and wouldn’t choose to buy jewellery or watches anywhere else.
