This job agency is great for a student just looking for work to save some money. Host has great jobs to offer you such as Royal Ascot week or normal racing weekends; Henley Regatta; Music Festivals etc. Very flexible hours and you can choose when you want to work. Hannah and Fay who run the Guildford branch are absolutely lovely, and will help you find good jobs to work if the Host app doesn't show any. They also sent texts with job opportunities, they want to help you get as much work as you can especially during the busy work season. Also you get great money for the work you do.

They offer a variety of fantastic opportunities, working at events ranging from Royal Ascot and Henley Festival, to private Weddings and parties. At every job you are ensured to meet friendly staff, working in roles including Box Waiting and Bar Tending. Hannah and Fay, the amazing staff in the Guildford office are always there to help, answering queries and ensuring you get the best working experience with clients. The easy to use app allows you to book shifts and plan your schedule, displaying competitive pay for all the jobs offered. Working for the company has built my experience in hospitality, and I have enjoyed every moment of it.

HOST Staffing have not only increased my confidence in the workplace, but have also allowed me to learn amazing life skills. The hospitality training HOST provide have allowed me to work at Royal Ascot and Henley Regatta. Fay and Hannah (both managers at HOST Staffing - Guildford) regularly keep me updated with work and are flexible with specific job roles that I feel best suit me. As well as providing me with a diverse list of jobs creating a fun and interesting experience every time I work, the HOST Staffing - Guildford pay is excellent. I am delighted that I have found HOST Staffing - Guildford and would really advise any university students to join, as Fay and Hannah are great in providing constant work throughout the summer, as well as always making you feel positive, with a friendly conversation before your shift. Furthermore the array of job opportunities are excellent, with more formal attires such as working at Raymond Blancs Restaurants to Board masters Festival. The experiences gained from each shift are so useful, couldn't recommend enough.

I would recommend host to everyone wanting to fill a gap in work and work when they want. Fay and Hannah at Guildford are wonderful, really help full and genuine people. Working with host has helped me out while studying at college as its allowed me to do flexible work for good pay. They always endeavoured to get me to work with friends i had made through working there. Iv been able to work at some really cool places such as Good-wood Revival and Henley Festival and much much more. Id give the people at host staffing Guildford a 5 star rating.

Host is such a great company to work for, perfect for any uni students wanting some flexible work to suit their travel and study plans perfectly. Such a wide array of locations for shifts meaning it's easy for you to find work near you! Fay and Hannah are so understanding and helpful, its great to work for such friendly faces. Pay is very good, often with travel allowances and opportunities for tips! It is also super easy to join and get working straight away, could not recommend more!

Host is a great company to work for. They offer work at some amazing events including Royal Ascot and many festivals throughout summer, which makes the job really enjoyable! It's also a really flexible job because you get to choose when you work, which is great for students or anyone looking for some extra work on weekends or during the holidays. I’ve really enjoyed working for Host Staffing! Hannah and Fay in the Guildford Office have been lovely the whole time and always remember who I am and what I’m up to! The flexibility of the work and ease of choosing your shifts in the app has been great for me, making it super easy to fit in around my personal life. It’s also been fun discovering amazing venues as well as events and festivals I didn’t know existed - all while actually receiving decent pay! The girls have been fab, always on hand to answer any queries or questions.

I have worked for Host on and off for about 3 years now. I can wholeheartedly say I have greatly enjoyed working there. I would highly recommend Host to students looking to earn some money in their summer holidays or those looking for some extra work during weekends as these are when the more lucrative jobs are held. Some of these jobs are prestigious and fun events such as Royal Ascot which give great experience in all areas of hospitality and offer competitive rates coupled with the ability to earn tips, you have the potential to earn A LOT of money. You can also sign up to jobs with friends so you can be having fun whilst earning. Managers Fay and Hannah are always a pleasure to talk to and are always eager to set you up with exciting new job opportunities as well as being pretty funny on occasion. I would rate host 5 stars and look forward to working there again.

Really love working for Host! I began working for Host Guildford just before summer last year and have been to amazing venues such as, Royal Ascot, Henley Regatta, Goodwood Revival and lots more! I am in my last year of university and was able to save up all summer and also come back over Christmas and holidays to work events. It is so flexible as I choose when and where I work you just book in the shifts you want on the app. The pay is also great with chances of tips, which is great for a student! The staff are also so friendly, they make sure you’re happy where your working and are always there at the events if you have any problems. I meet the most amazing people and have built a good network of friends that I see throughout the events.
Would recommend this to anyone I can’t wait to get back to it! Thanks Host!

I've been working with Host Staffing in Guildford since the end of October, and it's honestly been a great experience so far. Really flexible working hours and good rates of pay at some really exciting events (got to work my fair share of christmas parties and weddings!) The staff, Fay and Hannah, are absolutely lovely, and have been really helpful in terms of finding jobs right for me, and are always on the other end of the phone if I have questions. No matter what your experience in hospitality, I would recommend this agency to anyone, particularly students... the ability to choose your own shifts means it's really easy to fit jobs in around lectures!

Great agency! Great experience! Exciting venues! No other agency supplies the thrill and excitement across Guildford ! Working with the agency for almost 2 years! There are many venues all over Guildford which I personally don’t think I would had visited or experienced in my lifetime. Joined Host Staffing Guildford on my gap year, and they have been great at getting me the shifts I needed. The work is really flexible, so you can pick up shifts as and when you need them. Every shift I've worked so far has been fun, had great people to work with and offered an opportunity to work at some really prestigious events! Both managerial staff and fellow colleges are all helpful and friendly and most of the jobs themselves end up being quite fun.

Host offer a really good variety of jobs - from working at weddings to hospitality suites at Henley Regatta, Goodwood and Ascot. You can always ask for more work if you need it but at the same time, they are also very flexible to what works for you. I’m a student so mainly work during the holidays.
Fay and Hannah are your main points of contact in the office and are really friendly. You meet them when you have an induction to the company, as well as seeing them on some of the jobs. They are great at texting and calling to offer you jobs whether or not you’ve signed up to other shifts, and are quick to respond to any queries about a job.
The app for shifts is easy to use and it is clear to see where you need to be and when, with additional instructions for the day if necessary.

Host is a great place to work! great flexibility on shifts and great rates. There are chances to work for some amazing companys and experience different places from Ascot racecourse, festivals, Goodwood to private VIP events. I really enjoy each shift I do for Host! I meet some amazing people and I get along with everyone I work with. The shifts are very fun and get to work at some cool events not something you would experience in a normal full time job. The office staff are all so friendly and always just a call away to help you with any questions espeically Hannah and Fay! they are absolutely amazing, so friendly, easy to chat to and always there if I need anything.
