I fell in love with this shop initially because of the items and the set up but every single time you get to the till they charge your more, not just a penny here and there, the items are 30p plus than what is on the item display. It’s a massive headache if you don’t notice at the right moment and have to ask for a refund and also walk round the store to show the manager the proof and you rarely get an apology for it. With that said, they have good selection in store including gluten free and vegan items. I like the fact that you can fill up your bottles and jars here. But unfortunately I try to avoid purely because of the robbery that is taking place at the til

Very post spar with a florists in the front. A large selection of perfume products and fresh baked goods are available for purchase. The shop is dear, but quality always comes at a cost.

Great selection of food. However when you get to the cash out , the prices that the till comes up with are NEVER THE SAME as the prices quoted in the aisle Never ! always more expensive , it's really irratating. Really concidering boycott !

Pretty overpriced but some delicious stuff here. Shame I always seem to get served by the grumpiest man to ever roam the earth.

Eat 17 / Spar started off so well. Now, poor stocks of meat and poultry and poorly labeled. Prices are a bit of a joke, this place could be so much more. Changes its identity every 3 months. Is it a butchers, a fishmongers, a florist or a burger joint, I think a poor attempt at them all. I walk in looking for organic quality and regularly walk out disappointed and empty handed.

One star until you make an effort to stock own brand wine more than one day of the week

Beware of pricing! You will pay more at the till than the labelling on the shelves will say. This happened to me so frequently, I am starting to believe that this is not just bad luck or sloppy management. It's a pity - the shop is really nice and they do stock items that you won't get anywhere else in the area. Spar, do you really need to rip off you customers in such a cheeky way?

What a great shop. I've never seen a Spar like it. It can be expensive but the produce is high quality.

An uber posh Spar! This is more like a small Whole Foods than any other Spar I've been to. Great selection of local craft beers.

Super fancy spar by the Eat 17 folk that supplies a huge selection of deli items, posh ready meals, fresh bread and all the basics. Great wine selection too.

Good quality produce interspersed with standard Spar fare. The issue I have here are the strandard products that you can buy elsewhere being markedly more expensive e.g. a bottle of Fevertree tonic 500ml which is £1.89 everywhere, including corner shops, but here it’s £2.69. It’s the brazen price rises which are annoying. The problem is that Chatsworth Road has little competition, and the two or three organic type shops catering for the newcomers are colluding and keeping prices high. Would be great if a Whole Foods or the like opened who had standardised pricing.

There is a florist in this shop which I definitely don't recommend. The flowers are not fresh and so very expensive. And the choice is very poor.

Mixed selection - vast array of some items (craft beer, cheese, vegan alternatives), but everything is quite expensive compared to other stores on the street. Good for the occasional treat.
