Although I did not buy a car from here but Mr Sang from sales showed exemplary effort in helping me in my purchase. I found a sales guy who took time to understand my needs.He guided me every second as had tight budget and could not make up my mind. Sean took extra pain to help me focus on what my needs are vs my wants. Never frustrated but had ideas for me. He is knowledgeable and a great team member in any team. Purchased a vehicle with a pre-existing dent that I was told would be taken care of. When I made the appointment I was told that it would take a day. When the car was brought in I was told it would take two because of the location of the dent. After two days I had not heard anything about my car and only after I reached out did I learn that it would be 7-8 days. I was told I would receive a call on day 7 which I never did despite me calling and leaving a message. On day 8 I again called and was told it would be ready later that day. I understand that things take longer than expected but I don’t understand why I had to initiate every single phone call to get an update on the status of my car, especially when I was told at one point that I would receive an update on a certain date. I was never apologized to for being without a car or for not being called when I told I would be. When I inquired about the fact that I had been without a car for so long yet never offered an alternate vehicle or compensation for having to find other methods of transportation the response was “I didn’t know you needed a car.” This response bothers me greatly, because I had just purchased a vehicle because I need a car. When I finally was told my car was available it was only after being told again I would receive a phone call at a certain time but didn’t so I had to once more initiate that call. When I finally spoke to someone I was asked if I could make it to the dealer in the next 24 minutes as they were closing. Overall, a very very poor experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Toyota Cerritos. My agent Frank Gomez and his manager Kent made me feel confident with my purchase of a 17 Prius prime. It was really the first thing frank suggested, though my squirrel brain took us on a rollercoaster of different cars even ones that weren’t a Toyota I finally ended up with my perfect fit. They were very attentive and patient with me and frank was very knowledgeable and sweet. He even wished me a happy birthday a few days later. Frank is the best!

I wish I could rate everyone involved in the buying experience individually. For the most part the interactions were fine. I definitely feel that important information was not disclosed like the 2019 truck I purchased only came with 1 key fob. Dealership waited until all paperwork was completed, 20 mins before dealership was going to close and gave me the single key fob at the end of a long day!! I specifically asked about registration on the used vehicle purchased and was waived off with a handhold! I was told that I would owe the DMV in October and all would be fine. I will actually owe the fees in July! I felt I should have been dealt with more transparency.

Automation Toyota of Cerritos has great availability in making appointments. The most I have had to wait is about three days to get car maintenance scheduled. The staff was super helpful. I had laryngitis when I came I a nos the Service Representative found me in the lobby instead of calling. Car came out great and I am happy to say my car will survive at least another three months before I have to return. Prices are decent. I recommend signing up for emails to get coupons for services provided. I have been here a few times and have not been disappointed.

This dealership pulled a fast one on us!! We thought we were buying a brand new 4Runner SUV SR5 Premium model. When we got home, we then noticed that the mileage indicated on the odometer was already at 75 miles as written on the sale documents. It was too late then to go back and return or exchange it. NOBODY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT THE 75 MILES ON THE ODOMETER PRIOR TO THE SALE. So, essentially, we bought a used SUV!!!! Never again will we go back to this dealership!!

Claudia was very helpful and got both issues resolved. I bought this Lexus thru the Toyota dealership a couple of months ago and didn't realize when I first saw it (I was wearing my mask) that it's previous owner was a smoker. I am very sensitive to cigarettes' smoke, so Claudia had the cabin filter changed and the vents cleaned. That worked! The car smells so nice now. Thank you Claudia!

I took my car to get serviced as it was due for 30k miles. After checking, I was advised that my car was no longer under warranty and that I would have to pay out of pocket, fine no problem. When the service advisor provided me the costs, I almost fainted. There were three tiers for the recommend services and it ranged from $900 to $500 which I could not believe. That is absolutely outrageous. I take very good care of my car and take it in when the maintenance light turns on so that my car stays in good condition. Also, there was a recall on my car and the service advisor did not mention it to me. I actually remembered when I came home because I had a letter from Toyota. So I had to call Autonation myself and I was told by the woman who answered the phone that I would be contacted when the part arrived, I never got that call. I trust Autonation with my car, but I felt like they wanted to take advantage of me. The service advisor was nice and I believe her name was Bianca. Lastly, I mentioned that the vent was broken and so Bianca advised me that it needed to be replaced, therefore would order the part and call me when it came in. I never got a call. I had to call myself for an update.

They supplied me with a loaner car at no charge while the repairs to my 4 runner where made. They got the replacement parts quickly and had it repaired in a few days while I used the loaner car. Though a little pricey their service is very good and considering how reliable my 16 year old 4 runner has been I can't really complain. I will use them for any repairs in the future.

Just want to give Greg B and Henry a huge shoutout for making our purchase of our dream car as seamless as possible. We had issues with other dealerships pulling a bait and switch with pricing, wrong specifications, and just straight trying to change our mind on what we wanted. I called and Greg answered, I gave him the rundown on what's been happening, what we wanted, and within a couple hours he had a complete breakdown on price for us and we reserved the vehicle for the next morning. The entire transaction from start to finish while we were there took less than 2 hours and we had our new Highlander Hybrid. Henry was great as well and making sure everything was done without pushing for anything extra and even got us a price match APR without hesitation, and was very relatable. Thank you guys for making everything so easy after all the headaches we had with other dealerships!

Jonathan is helpful, kind, and will answer all your questions. it was thanks to him that I managed get my dream car the Toyota Corolla. Eric McKenzie from finance was great. Eric gets straight to the point and was helpful in answering all my questions. Both Eric and Jonathan made buying my first car experience great. I took my car in for maintenance on 4/27. I worked with John (?) in office #2. I was left waiting in the Customer Lounge for 3+ hours. Noone called my name and noone called my phone to let me know the car was ready. At 5PM I went to check in with John @ 5:00PM, but he had left for home. A random worker helped me out (-: and directed me to the right person/area to pick up my car.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. Customer Service is terrible. Sales team is terrible. Finance team is terrible. Read the reviews with 1/2 stars. This dealership is filled with managers and reps who don't care about your concerns. They will lie to get you to purchase a vehicle and then change the deal without informing you. They will mess up your paperwork and blame it on you. They will do and say whatever they need to get you through the door and buy a car. I have been in contact with the dealer for over 2 months and I continue to get the run around. This dealership owes me (and apparently many others) money for a payoff they failed to take care of like they said they would. I am now working with my lawyer and the BBB to ensure no other customer is treated the way I was.

2nd time dealing with this dealership. Last time was a purchase and this time was an appointment to sell the same van I purchased from them. They matched the same experience which was again, beyond disappointing. Why set appointments and have people show up when you have the laziest and least helpful people on the planet standing outside. Here is what happens when a customer shows up for an appointment and mentions the persons name they are supposed to meet with. The sales folks swarm on you until they realize you have an appointment then they act like you're bothering them. Next after figuring out who you need to meet they argue about who's going to get inside and let the person know. One of them will nod and head back inside, presumably to alert the person who booked the appt that you're outside. WRONG, they come back outside after you stand there for a while and act like the conversation never took place. Finally they tell you nope, you actually need to go find the person and he's somewhere in the back. Same experience last time... These guys could care less about whatever brings you to the dealership if you're not a new customer. I guess there are no inventory issues hurting used car sales at autonation in cerritos and they must have wayyyy to much inventory.

Bad customer service on the service side. The service manager is rude. They didn’t fix my truck didn’t even drive it to verify complaint they just said no problem found. When you can hear an audible ticking noise coming from inside my engine. Worst Toyota dealership I’ve gone. Regret buying from Toyota. Can’t fix my issue 3rd time going into dealership. If I could give them no stars I would do it. DONT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYBODY IF YOU WANNA SERVICE OR HAVE A ISSUE WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

I am not one to write a lot of reviews or take surveys unless the service was outstanding which was the case for Toyota Cerritos with the help of Henry Martinez. I drove all the way from San Diego to check out a specific vehicle on inventory. Starting from the ad posted online which had pictures of almost every angle of the car, all the written specifications and equipment included, odometer and vin info, the experience was so smooth. The online tool allowed for scheduling a test drive at a time and day that worked for me. Henry was available to show us the car and CarFax information. I loved the fact the price is already stated online which eliminates the uncomfortable haggling with car salesman. Buying a car is a big purchase and the last thing you need is someone being pushy (like the salesperson) or too intense to close the sale. I really enjoyed the chill good vibed approach of Henry and the great client focused service in providing all vehicle information requested without the pressure. We even looked around the other dealerships to make sure we did not find a better deal and the attention received could not compare to that of Toyota Cerritos. To make the whole experience even more easy going and stress free, they allow you to buy the car and return within 5 days or XX amount of miles, for whatever reason if you chance your mind... like what?! This is unheard of in a car dealership. Never had the intention of returning car but the added peace of mind is underrated. Given all the info on vehicle online, I prequalified in minutes through my bank over night and by the time we were actually test driving and had made up our mind; putting the contract, numbers and paperwork together was relatively fast (1 hour or so) considering this dealership was PAAAACKED with other clients. Received a couple nice follow up emails from Henry to ensure I was fully satisfied or check on any questions I had. With that being said, this happy client highly recommends the services at Toyota Cerritos!

Frank Gomez is the most considerate and least pushy car salesman I've met and the sole reason I purchased from this dealership. I had just test drove a used 4runner in the Lexus lot next to Toyota and the salesman - like most - was aggressive and very unable to read the atmosphere. Frank made us feel comfortable from the moment we stepped on the lot and gave us our breathing room so that we never felt like any step forward wasn't our choice. He ensured that he would help us make the right deal that fit into my budget and wouldn't run my credit until the very end. From viewing the vehicle to leaving the lot he was polite, kind, and helpful. I'll be sending my friends to AutoNation Toyota just for him and his services alone. I bought my certified 2014 Prius 3 from Autonation Toyota Cerritos nearly three years ago. The service department has been totally reliable. Getting in touch with them has not always been successful, but that falls on a particular service advisor and possibly their phone system. I'd like to see more amenities while waiting, like coffee and snacks, but I guess that's a little rough during a pandemic. Overall, I'm quite happy with this dealer.

I talked to my sales person over the phone to confirm a Cement colored Tacoma was available with no mark up or dealer add on. When I get to the dealership the Salesperson, David, the Sales Manager advised him that the vehicle we had been talking about is in line to get wheels and tires installed and there would be a $9000 markup. I saw the vehicle in stock form without the “upgrade”. There were two other items I was mislead on but the wheels and tires were the big part. I would give one star but David seemed like a good salesperson and I’ll give him the benefit the doubt but the sales manager is not someone I would ever do business with. I was later informed what happened may be illegal. Go to Crown Toyota in Ontario and ask for Richard for a excellent sales experience.

Amazing service! Claudia was great. I got my car in and the oil change, rotation, inspection and fluids top off we’re executed within 90 minutes even though it was a busy Saturday. I highly recommend Claudia at Service with Toyota Cerritos.
