I inherited a couple of Parker Knoll chairs that my parents had bought about 60 years ago. They'd had them restored at least once but when I acquired them, the fabric was frayed and holed, and the foam was crumbling away.. We looked at various fabrics in e.g. John Lewis, but found the ideal one in Allerton's huge range of fabrics. The chairs have been transformed and given a new lease of life - they did a great job. Highly recommended.

I had a couch re-upholstered by a dodgy used car salesman type character off Barkham Road. I had him redo it with foam, but it was like sitting on concrete. Quality of workmanship was fine, but communication of what we wanted...
Allerton upholstery "listened" to our needs, lent me samples of cushions to take home, so we could compare and make a choice, and were throughly accommodating throughout the whole process.
Highly recommended indeed.
