It's a quite place though situated in the centre of the city. Very near to elephant and castle Train station and tube. The staff here are very helpful and informative. Excited to spend next 15 months here as a student.

Like most places, you will have people that go above and beyond their duty and portray the organisation as a student-centred university. Like most places, you will also have people that are lazy and take advantage of remote-learning. Had it not been for a select few lecturers, this would have been a 1* review without a second thought. Challenging times, yes. Turning up late to lectures and spending 1/3 of a 2 hour lecture in a mad scramble, followed by excuses? Unacceptable. This is not the case across all other university institutions having spoken with other students. This needs to be improved and streamlined, big time, or the university’s previously good reputation will diminish.

I have bad experience with this university. I requested for recommendation letter for opening my bank account. I mailed 3 weeks ago but no response from them. Then i called students life Centre for 4 times they send my letter but they didn't mention my address though I send then every detail. Everytime i call them they said apologise only but they didn't send my letter till now. Im totally stuck in London. I have finished all my money. I can not ask for money from my home because I don't have any bank account here and even I could not get a job due to no bank account. They only say they will forward my request to prioritise. But I can not get anything more than apologise only. Hope only im one to stuck with this problem.Thank you LSBU

AWFUL! Took my money and refused to refund because of their system issues. No timeframe given. Just terrible customer service I've been waiting for an update for a long time now. 4k£ Gone so far and I can't afford the necessities while they ignore me

The worst university ever, really nice place to learn Indian language though as more than 70 percent of students are from India. Waste of time

Did a master in business here. Extremely poor quality teacher r taking class here. Students become easily bored in the class. Even curriculum is not good. This uni is using int students as cash cow. Most graduates are unemployed. Coming here frm India was my biggest mistake. Try other countries for study.

They always say different info. Firstly they said that MA lasts for 12 months then woman form enquires team said that Uni doesn’t have definite answer whether course will be 12 or 9 months so the information on the website might be wrong. After u pay deposit they won’t issue CAS! U will have to go through some more process which they never mentioned before and deposit is non-refundable What a scam

Trying to change course, the LSBU changing cPurses team do not respond to emails for a whole week! Not answering calls. The lady on the admissions switchboard is useless foreign lady cannot even speak good English at all, poor communication skille. I’m starting to think why did I even enrol here

Studied BEng Civil Engineering here part time whilst working as a engineering technician and found the course/uni excellent. Now I am a graduate engineer working towards being chartered whilst studying a part time MSc in Structural Engineering, also at LSBU. You get out what you put in!

I completed my Masters degree in Marketing at LSBU. Take my word for it..the lecturers are very much committed to making you job-ready. They respect your time and expect the same from you. You can always request one-to-one appointments if you think you're lagging behind and need help with it. Amazing place for international students. Our batch had issues with VLE Moodle and timetable but I'm sure they sorted it. Business school Admin prioritize the emails received, so it's totally your responsibility to follow-up. Mental health is given utmost importance here. My advice, Don't you miss the Residential weekend.

The lecturers were willing and committed to assisting the students to learn. The university has a strong equal opportunity policy and they assisted everyone. I love London South Bank University. Jennifer Alimin. The Law department is great. The classrooms and toilets were always clean. Great learning environment. Highly recommended and I am very proud to have got a degree at this uni.

As a current second year student here, I can't say anything about the other departments and subjects, but what I can talk about is Law, as that is my field of study. The reason i chose to study here at London Southbank University is because I came to an open event, and wasnt sure what to expect, I then talked to a teacher about Law, and said I wanted to study business as well as law, and he said that he didn't know much about business law, as he was a teacher of family law, however he didnt just brush me off and tell me to talk to someone else, he tried his best to explain to me what the subject would entail and what the modules would require of me; he then asked me if I would like to hear about his field which is family law, and i said yes. He was so passionate about what he did, and what he taught, that it inspired me, so I ended up choosing to specialise in family law; however after studying a year and recently starting my second a week ago, I decided to just study Law LLB, as this would allow for me to speciaise in law as a whole, not just one single area. Another reason I chose to study here was because there is an attatched Legal Clinic, which you can go and do work experience in, and really get a feel for working in the law; I haven't worked there yet, however I am planning to in the second semester, or in my final year next year. I thought this was a brilliant idea, as this would allow students to really get a feel for what would be required of them if they chose to work as a lawyer. Guys, I am not gonna lie and tell you that the first year of uni was all flowers and roses, because it definitely wasn't, and it was just as difficult as the next two are going to be, but like with all things, you only get as much as you are willing to put in and work for. The teachers do help you and guide you, however it is up to you to do the work and put in the hard work. If you are more a fan of coursework then this might not be the university for you, as from my experience there is more exams than coursework, and you will barely get any coursework, HOWEVER, dont let this put you off because they do help you where needed and make sure you are okay and doing well, such that when the exams come around, you will be okay. The seminars are all taught professionally, and the lecturers are good too, but you have to as I said, put in the work. My biggest advice for new students is revise from the word go, don't leave it to last minute; pay attention in classes and turn up; and really get involved. It is an amazing uni and i am so glad I stuck with it.

Zero stars if possible. I did an MBA here. The quality of staff is shocking; a disgrace to academia. I wish I could get a refund so I could a degree from a reputable university. My recommendation is to look for an MBA which is internationally recognised and whose staff implement what is in the curriculum. As a note, my multiple complaints and escalations got me nowhere after months of pursuing my issues; they just don’t care.
