They’ve packed so much choice and variety in such a small showroom. Well presented. It’s great to have parking facility just outside the showroom.

From start to finish my experience with Reading Bedding was faultless. From arriving at the store ( during the coronavirus pandemic) You were put at ease with precautions put in place eg: hand gel, screens etc. Friendly staff who offered a lot of information was also a plus. The goods arrived 2 weeks later.. once again amazing service. Took my old mattress away after delivery of a new one. We have always bought our mattresses from Reading Bedding and will continue to do so. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends

Amazing experience at Reading Bedding from start to finish. The salesman was humorous and not at all pushy. He recommended a few beds for me to try. Once purchased the delivery time was quicker than quoted and they took away my old bed, and even hoovered quickly for me before they put the new bed down. The delivery men were fabulous. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this small business to anyone looking for a new mattress, bed or bedroom furniture. Very happy customer and I would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could! Well done for putting the customer first.

It was the only bedding place I could find that had my Dunlopillo bed on display. They had an excellent display of many beds, at competitive prices. Staff were very helpful, but not pushy and I've been telling my friends about them.
The delivery men were also very efficient and helpful. Great experience all round, thoroughly recommend.

We visited the showroom on Saturday and immediately found a suitable mattress. We were given a delivery day of Wednesday which we were delighted with. I was told that I would receive a call on Wednesday morning to advise a delivery time and sure enough, at 8.30am I got a call to say they were on their way. The bed arrived at 9am and the drivers were happy to bring it into the house for me (and were both wearing masks which I was very happy about). The service in the shop was excellent and the delivery guys were friendly and polite. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Reading Bedding.

Excellent service! I was in need of a guest bed for our spare room urgently and this store was able to deliver a double bed with base and headboard within 48 hours. They were polite and helpful and did not try to up-sell me at any point. I would not hesitate to got there again. And the best part is it felt great to support local business. Well done Reading Bedding!!

Very happy with the professionalism & patience, help & support from Roger at Reading Bedding when buying our bed. Although COVID19 forced delays through these unprecedented times, it may have taken a little longer than planned but that’s not anyone’s fault! We were delighted to take delivery & they also took our old bed away for disposal. The delivery boys were very careful & professional. As a family we’ve ordered many beds with them & always recommend them, supporting local business.

I have used Reading Bedding for all my beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture for over 12 years. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Latest purchase was on Tuesday this week, a new mattress which I decided on after being shown a selection in my price bracket and which were patiently explained to me the difference in materials and structure etc. The mattress was delivered this morning and my old one taken away. I have, once more, been very pleased with Reading Bedding from entering the store (and what a lovely makeover that has had!) to the mattress being delivered. Thanks again, for a brilliant service

My Grandparents visited the show room a couple of weeks ago to order two single mattresses for my two girls...they were very impressed with the selection, knowledge and service of they think it was the owner.
They choose 2 mattresses that were not in stock and needed to be ordered and delivered...despite my grandad ringing and telling them that we were unavailable for delivery the Friday am,the delivery man still rang to say would deliver about 10am...was not a problem though and they came back that afternoon. Would definitely recommend them to everyone.

I have to say that this company is nothing short of excellent.
We ordered a Hypnosis mattress from them in August. They were clear at the start that there were delays effecting production (covid-19) , but I was happy to wait.
The way in which they communicated throughout the process was fantastic. When delays at the Hypnosis end meant timescales were pushed back, Reading Bedding were quickly on the phone or e-mail giving me an update.
What could have very easily, been incredibly frustrating....was quite the reverse given the teams proactivity on communication.

Excellent service. Bought a new mattress which was delivered earlier than expected. They didn’t try and sell us the most expensive mattress and gave us plenty of time in the showroom to try out a wide rang of mattresses before making up our mind.

Incredibly Disappointing. I ordered a mattress, paying in full (nearly £1k) upfront, in August 2020 with an estimated delivery time of 8-10 weeks. There was no subsequent communication from this company at all.
On the two occasions that I contacted them (end of Oct 20 and end of Nov 20) I was told that there would be further delays meaning that, at best, my order would be at least two months late. I ended up having to contact the manufacturers to get a 'ball park' date of when the product might be ready.
Whilst the delays may have been a problem with manufacturers (as Reading Bedding was quick to point out), it makes it incredibly hard to plan your life when it is so difficult to get basic information; it is the retailer who is responsible for managing the relationship between the supplier and the customer and they should be keeping the customer up-to-date.
I bought the mattress to enable me to move in to my new house and feel incredibly let down that they could even provide me with proactive updates. I made this point when I spoke to them in October so I was especially disappointed the next time I checked and found out that that they still hadn't been keeping me updated regarding the additional delays.
This contrasts with another company from which I ordered a bed but which proactively kept me up-to-date about delivery timescales and also offered a 'goodwill' gesture (which Reading Bedding refused to do when I asked them if they would recognise the incovenience caused).
I subsequently received an email from them telling me that they were cancelling my order (which I hadn't asked them to do).
Thankfully, I made some further enquiries and found out that I could get the same mattress elsewhere without any further delays so I cancelled with Reading Bedding.
In summary I would never use this company again and would strongly advise others not to either - it really was a massive waste of time and energy and there are many other companies who provide much better service and therefore deserve to profit from customers' hard-earned money.

Purchased two ottoman beds with floor standing headboards, absolutely delighted with the quality, the two guys were so efficient and had them built in no time at all. The storage is fabulous so so happy from start to finish , Keith in store to the guys that delivered and built . Would definitely buy from them again .

Very happy they are open again. We were in a bind and had been let down by another company who promised next day delivery to a disabled relation but still could not deliver it after a week! Keith at Reading Bedding was super friendly, helpful and guided us to a mattress in stock. Delivery was within 24 hours from my call. Here are some other positive views from delivery: “The fact that they call you half an hour before. Their positive and happy manner. Nothing was too much and they positioned the mattress where I wanted it to go and were very quick but careful. They also unpacked it for me (the outer protective plastic). One of them was called Barry and I can’t remember the others name!”

Approximate delivery was 8-10 weeks after order in August. 10 weeks came and went, every week was another excuse.... more news next week etc etc. I should’ve given up earlier as have wasted months and still no bed, with not even an alternative offered.

We have just had our Vispring divan set delivered- despite the current situation(Covid-19), the customer service has been outstanding! The communication since ordering has been first class and the two men who arrived today to deliver, set up and clear away the packaging were just brilliant. Personal service from a local company who care about their customers and the whole experience-invaluable! We recommend with no hesitation(and the price was excellent too!).

Terrible service. Ordered mattress with a 4-6 week estimated delivery which finally turned up 10 weeks later. Delivery team failed to deliver on agreed date and did not inform me meaning I wasted a days annual leave. They agreed a second delivery 5 days later but turned up 4 hours later than agreed and resulted in another lost day of work for me. Their delivery team is terrible so would suggest you buy elsewhere.

Placed order on their website for an Ottoman Bed which was shown as in stock and ready to deliver in 2-5 days. Then got a call 3 days later that the bed is out of stock for next 4 weeks. I asked to cancel order but they were reluctant to cancel and started arguing that I should buy different model bed from them. I felt it as pushy sale with no guarantee they would meet delivery promises. I persisted to cancel the order. Then then the company started dragging their feet to keep hold of the refund money thereby making things difficult. The money will eventually come to me as I am now serving them a claims court notice. These cowboys falsely advertise items and then refuse to let go of your hard earned cash cash. These are a bunch of liars, they lie on their website, they lie on the phone. This company may be seriously struggling for cashflow. Vote with your feet and take your custom elsewhere.

I ordered 2 new beds - really great service (despite delays due to COVID19) - the delivery men arrived a few minutes earlier than the timeslot I was given, they brought everything in, ran up & down the stairs, assembled the beds & put them in the right places, and had left ... all within 35 minutes, taking all the rubbish as well - they were quiet, tidy & cheerful. I visited the store with my Father recently in the hope of finding a new bed to replace his of 30 years. The parking was very easy, virtually by the door, which was good for anyone with mobility issues. We were given good advice, purchased a bed, and kept up to date regarding delivery and removal of the old bed. First class service which is rare these days. The customer toilets were the nicest he had ever seen, well done to everyone at Reading Bedding!
