Did not resolve our problem and used standard statements - poor customer service - ordered a bed for delivery in December paid in full - did not arrive told out of stock. Had to chase to see what was happening to be told bed out of stock abs won’t arrive till end of March. No refund or explanation offered! They have us over a barrel with national lockdown! Will not order from them again!

After finally getting delivery of our bed 2 months late the delivery drivers wouldn't take the divan away & had to be heavily persuaded to take the mattress. Apparently these items had to be " downstairs " Terrible service. I am now stuck with the divan which i have to get rid of.

This is the final part of my review! Those of you who are interested in Customer Service at Bensons for beds please do take time to read this review. We now have our bed which was delivered finally in September, a full month after the due date. We had made allowances for both Covid and the fact that Bensons alongside its sister company (Harveys) had been taken into administration. 4 stars because we still had issues, listed here: 1. Prior to delivery, communication was difficult as my first experience following the delay to the delivery was to be emailed a call centre at Harveys, which at this point had gone into administration, so they couldn't help me but gave me the Benson's number. 2. The Bensons staff on the telephone helpline were incredibly helpful, however I had phoned three times and each time I have had to wait for more than 3/4 of an hour before it was answered. My suggestion to Bensons is to have a queueing system that tells you where you are in the queue, how long you have to wait, or that has a callback system in place. 3. Bensons has quite an interesting administrative system in that they have Internet sales, customer service and other departments that didn't seem to communicate with each other or on the same IT system. I found this out when I realised that the emails coming from Bensons were not closely aligned to the staff I spoke to on the telephones, which meant that I had a number of different delivery dates which didn't tally with each other. Finally, the reason my review has this title is because when we finally spoke to a senior customer service manager Gary O'Brien, he dealt with us incredibly well – he listened without interruption, he asked for our opinion, and he gave us suggestions about possible solutions. As a sales training manager, this is what I teach the people I train! The solution was to give us a definite date with a fallback in case those dates changed. Gary was also very quick to offer (voucher) compensation which we happily accepted as we have always been delighted with Bensons store staff and their service. Our bed is great and is living up to expectation. We hope that Bensons gets back on its feet following its recent history, as we like its products and will recommend them. .

The wardrobes are expensive and seem high quality, but they fall apart in under a year and customer services dont respond to inquiries into the guarantee. It's been 18 days and they haven't responded in writing/email. Which is how you should handle legal matters, not over the phone as they prefer (loss of accountability is loved by the back office 'support' staff)

would give no stars at all if i could. so my partner and I went in store and look for a bed frame and mattress a few weeks ago, a few staff approached my partner and me asking if we need help. Said no. then 99% of the time they just looked at us trying out the mattresses like we couldnt afford to buy one. finally we ordered a bed frame on the 30 Dec, original deliver date is the 8 of Jan, due to missing parts, it moved to the 16th, then they called again a couple of days later saying the delivery slots were full so it's moved to 1 Feb (how did they manage to move it to the 16th if the slots were full in the first place)????, called customer service to change the date to 14 Jan, no email confirmation or whatsoever, assuming they were still delivering, booked day off, now they are not delivering until the 26 Jan and I wasn't told about this.

Do Not Buy from this company. Awful. Truly Awful. The Guardian newspaper wrote about the Bensons For Beds scam in 2012 and sadly we had not read it. Look up 'Bensons for Beds mattress guarantee is giving me nightmares'. You'll find it online. In essence, we fell foul to the same. Complained about a mattress we bought. B4B sent an 'independent' evaluator. He said that my son had sat on his bed. Shock horror! Whatever else. He may have even slept in it at one point! That was their reason for not changing the mattress. It was 12 months old. My son has had to have chiropractor sessions to sort out his bad back. Not something a 14 year old should have to endure. Avoid this company at all costs becasue their independent evaluators are not. Even when we approached the furntiure ombudmsan, they say that B4B cannot be evaluated independently because they are already independent. Eh?! Makes no sense. We then tried section 75, through our credit card, to get our money back. They wanted us to pay £250 for an independent evaluator. The mattress was only worth £330. There is basically no recourse. 3 words of advice; Avoid, Avoid and Avoid
