Howdens – Slough

Service was horrible. Initially all was going well, spent a lot of time on kitchen design and layout. However as soon as the order had been paid for the staff are rude and hold no accountability. I was told by the Manager they are 'trade' and not retail... Since when can trade companies get away with not being professional and having shocking levels of customer service. Staff are rude, even the manager was not willing to listen or help. I would not recommend Howdens to anyone!!! Howden's staff advised it was 'unfortune' the unit did not fit correctly - no it was not unfortune, it was a lack of communication from Howdens. Completely ruined my kitchen! Money wasted!! An awful branch! I had to chase for someone to reply, and then the manager said I should of called/emailed straight away however I did email, but I received a pointless response, pretty much saying 'oh well' - Avoid this branch, they are only interesting in taking your money, all about their sales and their commission!! I do not want to waste any more time trying to resolve my issue with the branch. Money wasted!!! Calls should be recorded so that staff are held accountable and then can not go back on what's been said.

Monique at the Slough branch was so helpful when designing my kitchen and incredible patient through multiple design changes. Delivery was on time with no missing pieces. The kitchen has been in for a few months now and seems to be sturdy and good quality. I would recommend.

Rude and aggressive staff. They are harassing me to buy stuff with unwanted sales calls. When I first bought from them, I said I don't want to receive any sales calls or junk mail. They assured me they wouldn't call. Then they started calling and sending junk mail. I called to remind them. They said ok, we will take you out of the list, but they still kept calling. Yesterday they called again and when I explained that I never wanted these calls and called to opt out before, the guy on the phone said "Well it was fine when you got the free gift while opening the account, bring it back if you don't want us to call you" ?????? I never wanted a promotional gift from this company, I don't even remember what it was. The company gives a promotional gift for opening an account. Then harasses you to buy more stuff. When you want to opt out, they say the most preposterous thing I have ever heard " bring it back to stop the calls" Can the owner, or the area manager please look into the aggression levels of the Slough branch please. Why lose customers by treating them this way?

This is the place to go if you want good kitchen range choices as well as staff that are friendly helpful and very knowledgeable.ask for Harjit Panesar but all the staff are great John Clinch

I have a trade account with this guys for years ,but never been treat so bad like in this branch . They really mess about my complete order and ask for more money because one of theyr sales guy done a huge mistake. Even 1 star is to much . DON'T USE THIS BRANCH !!!
