Needed my daughter's MOT done while we were away. Staff were really helpful and they took the time to listen to what we needed and the MOT went seamlessly. On top of that we took advantage of a Halfords deal so it was free too!!

I've been to garages before were they have treated me like I am stupid because I'm a woman but I have always been treated as an equal by halfords autocentre in worthing. 5 stars all round, cannot recommend them enough.

Went in for £25 tyre repair & ended up with £350 for 4 new tyres (my car is 1yr old). For that price i would expect the new tyres to all be balanced. 38 & 35 psi in front tyres (should be 33psi) back tyres 35 & 33 psi (should be 32psi) - Not happy!!!

Friendly service however i went on a bank holiday which is very convienient may i add that it was open. My car had just broken and they diagnosed a whole new gasket needed quoting 1000 i then took it to a mechanic to be told its actually a coil pack on one cylinder, a injector on another and the clutch.... completely different.

When I entered reception one of the employees looked at me, gave no greeting and then went back to looking at his computer screen. The other, who I believe to be the manager, did greet me, somewhat reluctantly.
As the car was in for new tyres I can't help wondering why there was any need to play with the entertainment system and I really can't believe there was any necessity to turn my cruise control off!
They were good priced tyres but I will be going elsewhere in future.

It was a marathon to get the diesel particulate filter regenerated and the warning light re set. Euro Car Parts delivered the wrong sensor , having waited hours - then they couldn't find the correct part number from Nissan themselves. All in all I was there for 3 days and spent 17 hrs waiting for the job to be finished on my Nissan X Trail. The team were good in that they didnt charge for some items and I used a 10% discount e mail voucher I received on my iPhone to save some more cash. Not a cheap job at over £340 either! Now the car runs as it should with a fresh oil filter and oil done yesterday.

Car in for MOT & 4 new tyres/tracking. Left with Halfords at 9am ready at noon. Completed at contracted price which was reasonable. Before delivering the vehicle I noticed the offside rear lense was broken but no comment/advice given. Upon leaving the above feedback direct to Halfords they emailed suggesting I telephoned them to discuss. I didn't because my feedback should'nt need further explanation. If they didn't read it carefully who am I to teach them?

Took a puncture to be repaired and was told it was too near the shoulder to repair and needed a new tyre , I decided to take it somewhere else as I knew it wasn't. Puncture repaired and no problem since so they lie. Reception came over as very arrogant I definitely won't return

CON ARTISTS! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST OR IT WILL COST YOU NEEDLESSLY!!!
My partner took her car here after the brake pad warning light came up on her 2005 VW Polo 90k miles.
They kept car all morning and said it needed:
- brake pads both front
- all brake discs
- brake lines
- replacement rear drums
Quoted £600!!!!!
We took the car for a second opinion at local garage... They carried out brake checks along with MOT.... £120 FIXED.. it was just the brake pad sensor cable had broken!!
Absolutely disgusted with HALFRAUDS for trying to take advantage of a single woman assuming she would pay for work that didn't need to be done (would they have even replaced the parts they quoted for?? One for watchdog I think! Real Mechanic also advised drums barely ever would need changing they last life of car on these).
PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!

After a mix up on my part mainly regarding re test they were incredibly fair and also as I had to wait longer with my 3 kids the guys in the office subjected themselves to 40 minutes of cbeebies! Really appreciated thank you, the only reason for not 5* is unfortunately the cost of repairs after car failed on 2 items, got it repaired at £300 cheaper than halfords with another mechanic and one item listed as needing replacement was literally a clip that was loose needed fastening the whole CV boot did not need to be replaced!
