My first time to visit this place even though I've lived in Loughborough for the past 6 years. I love this place. Incredibly relaxing and you can see the whole town up on the top of the hill. We did run 5K here in the morning. This will be our new venue for our weekly run. Amazing!

Absolutely love this park. We bring my 3 year old son here for walks and he loves it too. There's a massive hill to climb and views from the top are stunning, and it's nice to just get away from the city and breath some fresh air. Everyone who visits this park (I'm guessing are regulars walking their dog) are so friendly. Defiantly worth a visit if u enjoy walking and nature.

Amazing wooden sculptures create interesting atmosphere here. If you add all these trees and bushes and paths together you will receive great relaxing mixture. Great place for waking and jogging

Not used the car park, but the lower end of the park is really nice. It also has a good cafe.

Ideal country park. Excellent walking countryside with wonderful wood sculptures and good all weather paths. A new cafe at the lower car park is a very welcome addition. You would be hard pressed to find a better place than Beacon Hill for a family day out.

Nice peaceful family walk. Nice addition of wooden play equipment. Very popular for families/dog walkers etc. Very large space. Different trails to explore, natural play space has gone downhill in recent years there used to be a wooden train to sit on etc. Nice area near the car park enclosed in trees with wooden walkways all around which kids really enjoyed. Car park around £3. for 1-3 hours. Toilet facilities available.

Great for children's play, a cafe (which is closed on Mondays so didn't get to visit) and multiple walking routes to choose from.

Parking is pay on exit, you can pay using cash or card: Up to 1 hour – £2 1 – 3 hours – £3 Over 3 hours £4 Beacon Hill has 2 car parks. If you park in the lower car park you'll have access to the cafe, labyrinth, childrens play area, open play area, native tree trail walk and numerous wooden sculptures. You can also walk to the top of beacon hill from here along the path.

Big improvements since we last visited. The picnic area and grounds with a soon to open cafe are excellent. Removing the coin entrance machine with a card system, paying on departure is good. Big incentives to visit more often.

Lovely place for a walk. Resent the high price for car park at £1 per hour. However card payment is useful.

A nice place to set off from to take a walk up to the top of the Beacon. There is enough parking for a busy day, toilet facilities and a fantastic wooden playground for children of all ages. The 'Labyrinth' is located here, a great place to take the family around for a walk in the maze.

Great place for a family walk. I would suggest parking here rather than the top car park to get the steep walk out of the way first and and it's an easy stroll back down to the car afterwards. Great views and scenery. The car park costs around £3 for 3 hours which is plenty of time.

Beacon Hill - A fantastic day out for the family or area to do your daily exercise regime. We travelled to Beacon Hill and parked in the Lower Car Park for a family get together. The car park has toilet facilities which are very well maintained. The car park is pay and display so don't forget your money. From the car park, your are a 30 second walk from the 'Labrynth', a perfect attractions for children as the path weaves through the plants and trees. The summit is a gentle climb away but worth the strain! The views from the top look out over Leicestershire so on a day with good weather, is well worth it.
