M&S stores are Dealing with the mass buying issue really well however the selfishness of some is damaging small daily needs for those generations and members of public who need basic living materials and are struggling to find if and are having to go out of their way due to others actions.

It's M&S so it's pricy but the quality is very good. In an area where parking is tight you can always find a spot so it's perfect for "Click and Collect".

General staff lovely, not so management. Rather off hand when asked to help by public. Poor stocking, you can never be sure of the items. Also prices on shelves often different at till. Have contacted head office about this!! Plus wine offers in front of more expensive bottles, so check what you pick up. However staff on tills lovely and helpful!!

The food, as you would expect, is great but some of the staff were brusque. I must admit that I expect the staff at M&S to be friendly and helpful because that has been my experience until visiting this store. There was no self raising flour or unsalted butter on the shelves on the last visit.

It was a okay place for some last minute shopping. However, I do not think the selection is good as a supermarket. We also found the parking sign confusing as it seems required pat and display even though you are customers. It is much easier to just park off road as there are always parking spaces.

Snack and mini toiletries shelf between self checkout is ridiculous and should go asap.

Staff are rather unhelpful, seeming to regard customers as an inconvenience when they are restocking shelves, etc.
Today there was a leak coming from the ceiling by self-service checkout, but no sign of the potential hazard being addressed any time soon. Nobody manning the other checkouts despite the large queue for the self-service ones, and no evidence of anyone looking to resolve this lamentable dichotomy. Sadly, it's the only supermarket in the general vicinity.

As this store was originally a Safeway, then briefly a Morrisons we have seen it in various guises. M&S seems to use it as a manager training site. This means that the ranges and layout tend to change on the whim of the latest incumbent. The infuriating lack of bread/ milk (or tomorrow use by dates on them) appears to show a lack of stock rotation vigour, whoever is in charge.
