Second visit to this place and on both occasions I was met with incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff, who are nothing short of experts when it comes to accurate descriptions of flavours and what should accompany the choices of (V) cheese/products you may want.
This makes for a really enjoyable and engaging visit and on both occasions I have loved everything that was recommended.
They have so many options and I simply cannot wait for their little wine and cheese room to be open later this year to explore some of the wines they sell and enjoy the cheese on site.
Looking forward to coming back and trying even more of their products in the future.

This is a vegan's DREAM. I love this place so much and it's my no 1 choice to treat myself every now and then. Staff are lovely and helpful, cheese selection is wide ranging and 90% of everything I've ever bought from here has been droolingly delicious. The other 10% just wasn't to my taste but that's sometimes to be expected with anything in life. 90% is good odds!
If you are vegan and miss cheese - GO HERE!

A bit late to review but ordered a hamper to be delivered to my sister for Christmas 2020. The delivery arrived by courier on the date selected (I instructed her to be in to receive it) and evidently did not disappoint! She loved the selection and it was ultimately a great choice of gift. Best vegan cheeses in town! Don’t miss the Baby Blue, Nerominded, Minerthreat and Veganzola. We have been to their cellar and wine tasting and it was amazing! Highly recommend the experience (get the roasted shamembert!)

Don't usually write reviews but La Fauxmagerie definitely deserves it!
Ordered for Christmas with plenty of time but courier lost my parcel, these guys came through and managed to resend the order a couple of days after, plus they gave me a 10% off voucher. It's tricky out there for a lot of retailers, specially independent ones, and good customer service is essential and always appreciated.

Don't usually write recommendations but I have to say this is an absolutely amazing place! I couldn't recommend it enough. I've had several orders from La Fauxmagerie - including for Christmas - and they've all been fantastic and delivered on time. Will definitely be heading there for wine and cheese tasting when I can :)

The cheeses are fantastic! Great service. The woman at the counter was very knowledgeable. You can taste any vegan cheeses before you buy (unless already wrapped in portions) and the other vegan products such as Mheat salami are fantastic. Good range of products all round. The cheese is better than any we have ever tasted!

This place is absolutely amazing! They selection of cheeses is outstanding and everything taste so unique and exactly as “your dairy cheese”, you would never think it’s actually vegan, with so many more twists and ingredients, I love it! Have actually got a selection for my non vegan friends and they were all so impressed they cant wait to make an order! Also the staff is so amazing and helpful, definitely a 5 star experience!

We ordered from these guys in December and couldn't have been happier with the 'cheese' itself and with the customer service. The selection they have is sooo good! My partner loved the Shamembert and I loved the Truffle (the others were still amazing).
One of the blocks has gone a bit funny before its use by date and the issue was rectified more or less immediately. Quick response from them considering the time of year, and the refund was also just as quick. We will definitely be ordering again :)

Failed to deliver on the date requested and didnt deliver at all!!! Finally responded after two angry emails from me and advised me they were refunding my payment. However, this was for the cost of the cheese alone, now chasing the cost of a delivery that was never made!! Echoing the comments of the last review, I will never use this company again, nor recommend them. Typical over-stretched company who promise much then fail to deliver, having already taken your money. I suggest they change their courier company as well.

I hidden gem in the middle of Shoreditch. I must say I have seen this place online and I was having a huge expectation, and the result did not disappoint me at all! Is the second time I am fascinated by vegan cheeses, they all taste great, many varieties and also great taste!
There is some honourable mentions, such as de veganzola, the smokedy cheese and also the truffle and porcini one. Good choices on their own or with food. The ginger girl in the shop was so helpful and nice! definately a good try!

Ordered 6 different cheeses online and we weren't sure what to expect but OH MY GOD THEY ARE AMAZING! Never thought vegan cheese could taste this good, we've had trouble finding good vegan cheese in the shops, but this is the best cheese I've ever tasted! Will definitely be ordering again, thank you so much! We were thinking that statistically there would probably be a flavour we didn't like but they are all beautifully made with lovely flavours and we love them all ❤

Very disappointing customer service. Had a DHL delivery arranged and waited all day for arrival. No way of calling La Fauxmagerie so spent most of Friday chasing DHL who eventually admitted they placed the parcel in the wrong van. It's three days now and after two emails, La Fauxmagerie sent an automatic response informing me they respond within 24-48 hours. By the time they reply the cheeses will either arrive stale or not at all. Either way I would appreciate a call back to discuss options or a refund. Very annoying to say the least.

I was promised a re-delivery of my order today after DHL lost it and not because I was not at home. I still have no confirmation about the re-delivery and once again am unable to directly get through to a member of the team to confirm the status is of my order. If I do not receive my order by today can I please a full refund!

completely scammed me of almost £120 this christmas. ordered back in october for delivery on 17 december and no delivery, no contact.
will never trust this company again, and i advise anyone else not to either.
they've essentially ruined my christmas because i have me/cfs and am also high risk so we've either got to manage on a lot less, or i have to spend all my time and energy for the next couple of days to get vegan cheese and charcuterie, which is going to be nigh on impossible - never mind putting myself at risk of covid.

This place is magical. We were in the UK 6 months ago and we still talk about this cheese. We brought some back for my mom and she absolutely loved it. There was one with herbs and that was a huge favorite. We also discovered The Mouse's Favorite Camembert there and my life has been forever changed ????

Disappointed in the customer service. Delivery was apparently made when nobody was home and no neighbours have taken in the parcel. DHL have not responded and the only reply received from La Fauxmagerie was passive aggressive at best. Initial messages and later messages were ignored.

Ordered several cheeses for an online cheese and wine tasting. When I asked for a delay they tracked who else was involved and offered to delay their orders too. Good advice was given on the selection of cheeses and all turned up (across the family) exactly as planned. Their customer service wasn't 5* because it was good (as is often the case) they really were far and above what was expected.

Super helpful staff, very small inside so prepare to wait outside if it's busy. I miss having here on my doorstep! Love their online delivery service. Quite pricey but understandable when they're using independent suppliers. The "honestly tasty camembert" is INSANELY GOOD. The rind on it is perfect, you can bake it, or just be a heathen like me and smoosh it into a sandwich ???? support small businesses! Came here with a friend and she was super surprised at how yummy all the cheeses were ☺️ ????????

My husband and I went on a pilgrimage to this vegan cheesemonger today and tasted several cheeses, finally deciding on a cheddar-y and a camembert-y cheese as well as some vegan parmesan. Everything was very tasty and a big step up from supermarket vegan cheese. This is going to change my pasta and sandwich game faux-sure.

A fantastic range that genuinely stands up to traditional cheese. Plenty of sublime options full of texture, flavour, and that trademark psuedo-orgasm that cheese provides. Staff are happy to take the time to accomadate and offer their recommendations and expertise. All they need is a bigger space and more stock!

Vegan cheese at its finest. This place sells cheeses that is next to impossible to find elsewhere if you're Vegan and it's really refreshing to smell all these beautiful cheese smells and know that it's all coming from various nut based products and no cruelty what so ever. It's constantly busy in there and my wife and I went there a week before Christmas and as you can imagine the queue was going down the street before it opened. However by the time we got in there there were still a lot of options and we spent around £70 for around 800g of cheese (I think I got that measurement right). Definitely will go there and again and I wish they will expand their business to open several shops away from Shoreditch which is a bit out of the way to get to.

The best vegan cheese I've ever tasted. A lovely shop and the person serving was very helpful. I also bought some chutney to go with it. For me the cashew based cheeses are best they really do taste like cow cheeses, it's amazing. Highly recommended!

A vegan cheese heaven! If you're vegan or can't have dairy then you must make a pilgrimage here. They don't just stock cheese- there's vegan honey, chocolate, deli meats etc. The staff are always so helpful and warm, I stop in any time I can. It's just lucky I live so far away, or I might end up looking like one of their delicious smoked cheeze balls ????

Our daughter brought several pieces of your cheese when she came home for Christmas; we enjoyed them with crackers for Christmas tea and look forward to more of the same tonight. Best vegan cheeses we've ever tasted - the chilli, the blue and the smoked in particular were huge hits! I wish we lived nearby!
