The quality and variety of cheeses is amazing. They have more than 70 different ones to choose from. They also sell fresh bread. The scones are fresh and delicious. Offer of wine as well to supplement the cheese. A gem in Greenwich!

I visited this store today to buy a croissant as it looked very tasty and it was really tasty! the first time I eat a croissant from start to finish, the best almond croissant I have ever tasted, I also bought ciabatta bread which turned out to be delicious too! The staff are very welcoming and friendly! I am so upset that I live far enough from this place , but I will come here to eat this delicious croissant again, I would also love to taste your cheeses ????.

After reading the google reviews I was somewhat hesitant to visit this store, but now I am so glad that I did! I have always found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They encourage you to try the cheese and offer great suggestions. Thanks, I will definitely be back ????

This was an unexpected surprise on the way to ‘Royal Teas’ for a spot of brunch. They don’t rush you allowing you to sample all their fare. The point of not being rushed is especially pertinent given that you can only have 2 people in the shop at a time during COVID. One could forgive them for wanting to move people along to sell as much as they can, yet they patiently assisted with a smile and friendly chat. Would definitely come again, amazing cheeses, quince, and crackers.

Excellent shop! Such a cute cheese shop, full of amazing cheeses and compliments like biscuits, chutneys etc. Staff let us try several cheeses and we LOVED some of the cheeses we purchased. The local quince we tried was to die for. We’re so happy to have such a well stocked and niche shop locally and will definitely be regulars going forwards.

Lovely cheese shop that brings a taste of France to London. The owner and employees make the experience an outstanding one. If you are hungry for French pastries or crave a fine selection of imported cheeses, I highly recommend stopping by this fine establishment. 10/10

Review based purely on their website...which doesn’t work properly. My mum and I separately on several occasions tired to place and order. However their website kept crashing. So gave up. I didn’t receive any notification one order had been successfully ordered until the delivery company confirmed my order would arrive. No receipt of purchase, nothing. I called the shop who didn’t care and said it was all computerised so nothing they could do. I won’t order through them again.

I was looking for somewhere that sold a nice cheese selection that was kind of local and landed on The Cheeseboard... I wasn't sure what i wanted on that day so they asked a few questions and offered what they thought would be a good from my answers which is great to see. The place wasn't hard to find, there's a couple of stations nearby, one being Greenwich which uses Thameslink/Southeastern and the other which is further away, Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich (DLR). From my experience, great place to come if you're looking for a wider selection.

Yes, it has an unparalleled choice of cheeses, but even better are the bread, pasta and sauce selections that are so delicious you’ll never want run-of-the-mill supermarket Italian produce again. Premium beers and wines, too!

Gemma and the team at The Cheeseboard helped us to put our wedding "Cheesecake" together. We aren't fans of traditional wedding cakes but we love cheese! They helped us to pick the best cheese for our special day and even packed it up for us to drive to the venue. Our guests absolutely loved it - safe to say there was nothing left. If you want an alternative to a wedding cake, definitely consider the guys at The Cheeseboard. Alternatively, if you are just after a great variety of nice cheese, pay them a visit. Thanks guys! Disappointed that in the middle of a pandemic samples were left out uncovered at face height, baked goods weren't covered, none of the staff were wearing masks despite it being mandatory, and they were not enforcing customers to be masked. Incredibly poor behaviour when shops need to be doing their part to keep their staff and customers safe.

I do find it unfortunate that I have to write such a review as I do profess that the Cheeseboard is indeed a well-stocked establishment and does have some nice produce. However, this is ruined by the fact that: - The staff are either incredibly rude (the older members of staff - who scoff and turn their noses at paying customers, seemingly forgetting that they, are in fact, mere shop keepers); - incompetent (the younger members of staff - who are glacially slow in their service and unable to conduct the simplest of calculations, by this I refer to basic addition, even with the use of a modern-day calculator nonetheless); - Whoever is the proprietor of the Cheesboard has very unfortunately and inappropriately decided to become a 'Covid Profiteer' inflating prices to ridiculous levels and removing any semblance of customer service in order to get people in and-out as quickly as possible, and; - Staff who look visibly ill (the French woman) serving customers and 'carumphing' through the store re-stocking as if the customer is in fact in the way, most probably super-spreading whatever she's got (hopefully not the bad manners). I really could go on to Clive Cussler novel lengths at the inadequacies, price gorging, lack of manners and general awful experience of shopping in the Cheeseboard, which ironically has left a taste similar to that of a bacteria ridden, cave-aged, rancid, mould infested cheese - such that I found it necessary to write my first ever Google review. I will however, leave it here with just with one final piece of advice for any future potential customers drawn to the inviting vista of the Cheeseboard.... never judge a book by its cover - this one is rotten on the inside - please steer clear. Fin.

Not very nice at all dont appreciate being told I cant afford to buy a large jar of chilli jam when I asked the price of a large jar the shop assistant told me it's very expensive in pure oprah style and sold me fake chilli jam in a plastic container stating it's the same as tracklements taken from their LARGE jar.

Came here to get some bits for a dinner party, really do not know much about cheese but the girl who served me was ever so helpful, wrote down all the names of the cheeses for me and we had a delicious evening! Would definitely recommend if you're in the Greenwich area and in need of cheese - try the Cirone!

I bought a goats cheese which said 250g on the website, and was only 80g when I received it. When I mentioned this to them via telephone, the owner was horrible to me. In the end she promised me a refund which I'm still waiting for a week later. The cheese was amazing! I'm not faulting their products, just their service and the wrong advertisement on the website. I will never order from this site again and I would be careful if you are thinking about ordering anything as you might pay a lot more for something a lot smaller than advertised.
