Great selection of amazing cheeses. Lovely helpful friendly staff happy to help. Had some really lovely cheeses from here. It's a tiny fun little shop so be prepared to wait outside is all. Also note their opening times.

My Christmas is literally revolved around our cheese board from here! Every time I go in Morgan has a new cheese to tell me about and try. She always creates the most stunning cheese boards for any events I have, they are always always the star of the show and the talk of the night. Lovely lovely girl, and really knows her cheese. Big one for supporting local cheesemakers too which I always love!

Bought the ‘supporting British Cheesemakers’ box and would highly recommend. The customer service I received in the shop was incredible (staff were so welcoming and eager to help), and the cheese I got was amazing!! Will 100% be using Cheeses again!

I’d say since shopping at Cheeses not only has it been a really lovely And tasty experience ha, I’ve actually learnt so much about different types of cheese and opened my mind to exploring different varieties and what compliments them. From fresh burrata to delicious blue cheese (my favourite) and possibly the best selection of Brie’s I’ve ever tasted. I find cheese shops nostalgic and you get to experience that at Cheeses and treat yourself as little or often all year round.

Anything cheese related - this is your place. The selection on offer is amazing. The quality is incredible. However, the most impressive thing is the knowledge of the product. I was provided with suggestions, hints and tips and walked away with a bag full of some amazing cheeses. I’ve been into the shop in person and the service was beyond good. During lockdown I also placed several orders and everything I have come to expect from this place was delivered to my door. Can’t recommend enough. A must visit/order for any turophile!

Lovely selection of cheeses and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I particularly like the range of great vegetarian cheeses available. Whenever I've sought advice for a cheese board for a special occasion, culinary gifts or just wanting to try an unfamiliar cheese, I've never been disappointed with the recommendations. I ordered a cheese 'cake' for a family celebration and it was a visual and gustatory delight much enjoyed by all the guests.

Ordered a British Supporters cheese box and other cheeses from here for father's Day to be delivered. Still not received the British supporters cheese box. Have sent numerous emails and still awaiting a response.
Have just seen the response from the cheese shop. I got a refund for the cheese in the end having to go through PayPal to get it back. MyeMy were ignored when I asked for a refund.

A great little shop to buy cheese for all my special occasions. The quality of the cheeses are amazing and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. It got even better when I realised I could buy cheese from them and get it delivered via uber eats, made lockdown a great deal better!

What a joke! I placed an order on 21st November and received confirmation of the order. The money was taken (over £100) and my order was supposed to come 2 days later.
After 4 days I decided to call only to be told that the cheese I ordered was not in stock, I was told it would come before Christmas so I didn’t get a refund and held on longer. After 2 weeks called again.... no answer so I sent an email...... no reply. I have kept on trying but the online shop has disappeared! Taking the mic!!! I have sent a message through pay pal but have to wait 10 days for the shop to reply before I can escalate the case. I pretty sure there won’t be a reply given the customer service so far. I should have been contacted and told there was no stock, not have to do this myself!
DO NOT USE THIS SHOP YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!

Excellent service! Popped in at Christmas and the shop was by far the busiest in Muswell hill. It was a good half an hour wait, but so worth it the service was exceptional, you could really tell the girls had an in-depth knowledge of all things cheesy and considering I shop at fourtnums normally for my Christmas cheese I was shocked at the value, I’ve been back to Muswell hill specifically 3 more times to buy more cheese! Support your local. Such a hidden gem!

Placed an order for Christmas on 4 December, had the acknowledgement and the Paypal transaction. Since then nothing. No Cheese, no reply to email, no answer to the phone calls.
DO NOT order on line from this company. Record at Companies House doesn't make good reading either .
So how do I make contact when you do not reply to email or answer the phone? Strange how your website goes down but you manage to be on Instagram and post all the promotional things. Familiar pattern and the same excuses. Repeat DO NOT USE ON LINE AS TOTALLY UNRELIABLE

Don't touch these with a barge-pole online. Ordered cheese over 2 weeks before Christmas and never received it. Phoned the number numerous times; never gets answered and no answer-machine. Sent emails, and messages via Facebook but still no response. Finally raised a complaint through Paypal and still heard nothing back from them. Ridiculous!!!

Picked up some cheese for a cheese board.
Prices are very reasonable. They don’t have funny name cheeses and out a hefty price tag because no body knows the name. Good service. They have vegetarian options as well. No need to buy an expensive cheeseboard, just buy a cheerful one and put this expensive looking cheese on it!

Placed an online cheese order on 2nd December and my account was debited on the 3rd of December. On 5th of December, Morgan emailed to indicate delivery could be 20th December, if agreeable, which I confirmed by return email on the same day. Great to this point. However, no cheese was delivered, and despite several emails I have had no contact from the company, and no refund. Very disappointing. Appalling customer service.

Cheeses was excellent - everyone in the muswell hill area should pop in!
All the cheeses we tried we ended up buying (4 types). The woman who served us was friendly and super helpful and really took the time to go through lots of options. She was very knowledgeable but not in a pretentious way.
The shop itself is very small but did not feel cramped in the way it was set up.
Will definitely be back asap!

Im sure the actual cheese shop is fine, but if youre an online buyer DO NOT TOUCH THIS SHOP, you will never get your order, you will not get a response, and even if you esclate the claim to paypal, you will still not get a response from the shop.
If you like buying from brick walls disguised as cheese shops, this is your shop.

However great their physical shop and website may be, do not ever place an online order with them. Ever. I did so and paid for two-day shipping. I received a confirmation email. Then it was as if the company suddenly and mysteriously ceased to exist. My order did not arrive. I sent an email. No reply. I sent a message via their website. No reply. I sent another message via PayPal, which I had used to pay. No reply. I escalated the case and left it to PayPal to chase them. Guess what? No reply. PayPal closed the case in my favour and refunded my money. Five stars to PayPal and zero to Cheeses of Muswell Hill. It does make me wonder, with such a cavalier attitude, how good their products can possibly be. Or maybe they've just gone bust.

On my part, I would have been much less frustrated if the online transaction process had been set to halt prior to payment, and if there had been at least an automatic email reply about business being put on hold.

Completely and utterly useless, far too busy and far too good to answer the phone, respond to answerphone messages or emails! Ordered 3 bottles of honey on 30th April and paid £9 for 48hr delivery, it's now 13th May and nothing has arrived? They never answer the phone or respond to emails and clearly don't care at all about customers and you can see that from other reviews on Facebook, like I say probably too big and too good to care less about customers. Have had no choice but to report them to Visa for non-supply of goods because they can't even answer the phone! Pathetic! Don't advertise goods you can't supply or have any intention of sending out, that's theft!

Wonderful cheeses for a treat or if you just like good cheese. One of the places that makes Muswell Hill so special. Their brand new English brie is wonderful, that sublime combination of a mild brie with real depth of exquisite flavour.
