I absolutely love this place! Every time I go across the pass I stop in and get the "good stuff" and their peperoni. I love how they have a vending machine at the Ace Hardware Store in West Valley, I can go in and get a small package when I get a craving!

We love coming here whenever we are passing through. The service is always amazing and the meat is great quality! This last trip stands out though because the gal working (sorry I’m terrible with names - started with an S) went above and beyond to get us some non-marinated skirt steak from the back. They usually just have the marinated which I am sure is very good but we wanted to use the carne asada rub (also from Owen’s) with it. Good lord that carne asada was probably the best I have ever had. The words meat candy come to mind but are woefully insufficient. Love this place!

Always stop, when in town. Always a line. Delightful smokey smell. So much to look at when you wait your turn.
Got the maple smoked cornish game hen, prime rib steak, and thick pork chop.
So big we split he gets the medallion and I get the meaty bone. Everybody happy.

The meats are great, but if you go in when they’re busy the customer service goes out the window. I stood in there for over 5 minutes, not knowing what their system is. Then finally I was able to make eye contact with a butcher, and was told in a short manner. If I want anything, I need a number. I left and went across the street and got a loaf of bread at the great little bakery.

What a great place to purchase quality meats. The smoked pork chops are our favorite, and we always get a pound of the good stuff. They have so many choices, be prepared to take a little time to look around. We live on the west side so anytime we are in the area Owens is a must go.

the meats are amazing, love the vending machine out front for after hours. spicy lanauger was yummy! this place is a hidden gem with lots of gourmet add ons, bought this cool pasta i have never seen before. lots of yummy stuff, super friendly, and knowledgeable folks working the counter. LOVED IT!

They have the beef! Anytime we are driving across I-90, we have to stop. We always get some of their meat and cheese snack mix. If we are going to be near a grill, we snag a prime bone-in rib-eye. My son made us an amazing plate of their oxtail.

Never, ever, ever disappoints. Best beef and smoked chicken in the entire state. Trust me, I checked. Steaks are excellent. Even the choice is high quality. Worth the drive and the wait. Don't forget to get a pound of the "good stuff" for the road trip.

We love the meat at Owens; I stop by every other weekend to pick up some of the best steaks I’ve ever had! We ordered a couple pigs a few months ago and I went to pick them up last weekend, well there was 8 boxes of meat; I thought we had gotten them all. Today we received a call from them saying we missed a box and when we get a chance, to stop by and pick it up. We had no idea we had more meat coming to us, they could have easily kept it and resold it to someone else and we would never have known. They are honest, and always pleasant to deal with.

Tho I enjoy Careks Meats in Roslyn more and I've been going there since I was a kid, I can't make it through the roundabouts with my rig and long trailer as a truck driver. Owen's Meats is the next best thing and one can park in back of town near the old railroad tracks and walk easily inside. Very high quality meats, great jerky, sausages, and lanjeger that has more of a dry salami flavor. Oh, and the staff are friendly as heck too! Easy to find, right on the main street.

I cannot say enough about this locally owned business!!! They not only donated gift baskets for the Peppler/ Dinner Auction, they also donated all the meat for the spaghetti sauce!!!

We love this place. Most of the time for instance hamburger price is close to what you can find at big stores. But Owen's meat is fresh from a ranch in Ellensburg. They make their own bacon and jerky to. The best. They even have what they call bacon burger. Yup they use the bacon trimmings from the slicer and grind it with the hamburger. Makes the best camp burger you will ever have. Try thier smoked pork chop as well, amazing.

We stopped by another local business, on our way through town, not planning on getting anything at a butcher in Cle Elum. I am so glad my father-in-law saw the sign for Owens Meats. This will be one of go to places, everytime we are anywhere near the area. They were friendly, fast, and AMAZING! I was pleasantly surprised by their prices, especially for the quality of their meats, and the selection of other things they offered!
Meat cuts, jerky, salami, cheese, wine, bbq sauces, marinades, mustards, and so much more. SERIOUSLY, CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!

I have been looking forward to visiting here since I first tasted a treat from the vending machine in Tacoma. I was not disappointed! Lots of meat selection and the wall of condiments and treats on the shelves makes a beautiful treat for the carnivore in your life. I highly recommend the meat and cheese snack mix for any road trip!

We stop here every time we drive through Cle Elum. It never disappoints. Everything is delicious. "The Good Stuff" is a great mix especially if you are indecisive about what to get. If you don't make it in time for their store hours, they have a vending machine out front too that you can get a variety of food from. I can't recommend this place enough!

Highly recommended by many many folks. I found the meat to be ok, and the jerky to be somewhat on the saltier side. Maybe that is my super tastebuds, maybe I am just a Jabronie - but I didn't find the same alure here that everyone else always raves about. High prices, usually busy.

We always enjoy going and getting steaks from Owen's Meats when we visit Suncadia. The meats are always very good, but it can get busy and service is hit and miss. Also, they have items they do very well (steaks, rib roast, marinated chicken) and others that they do okay (pepperoni, jerky, sausages, etc. - for these go to Glondo's). Overall we always enjoy the food we get and prepare from Owen's, but expect a wait and the prices are sometimes higher than you would expect.

This is Grade A Prime Meat Market with Prime meats , marinaded meats and chicken, house smoked pork chops that are to die for , Soo Good !!! House made sausages and jerky. Every time I drive past Cle Elum I stop in for at least Smoked Pork Chops and Bacon but everything is great at Owen's Meats so stop in you will be glad you did!!

Owens meats is the best! They have a great butcher counter with a wide variety. Love their landjaeger sausage and pepperoni by the foot which is mild and non greasy. I stop for both when ever I'm heading to Seattle or back home again. They have lots of other items too like dressing, bbq sauces, cheeses, sourkraut, pickled quail eggs etc. Great place.
Nice bakery across the street and an italian place down the block.
