Over the years I have gone to many garages for tyre repairs and this is the only place where I have had a good experience. Kwik fit damaged my car and it cost £200 to out right, my local dealer took 2 hours and fitted the wrong tyre. This centre are very friendly, helpful and trustworthy. I would recommend it to everyone

Had arrived there for my online confirmed appointment at 5pm. They told me I need to come back another day, as they will be closing at 6pm. (Apparently one hour is not enough to change 4 tyres.. -anyway why do they let you book 5pm slot then..) Went back next day. Finally was able to get the changing done. However, the mechanic was not using any gloves, nor cover for the car seat, so car inside got very dirty. Very unprofessional. To change the four tyres also took 2 hours at the end. Would not recommend it, there are way better services available elsewhere with better prices.

Booked tyres online and had fitted in branch, very good service by both Mo(office) and Ian(mechanic), we arrived on time and they fitted us in on time. We bought budget tyres as it's a diesel in London but they seem to be better quality and road holding than the medium priced tyres (different place) it replaced, balancing is spot on too. We also normally get the car serviced here as it's great value. Seriously check it out. They can now do MOT's onsite too, don't bother with Wembley, use Hendon, there's a big Sainsbury's a short walk across the car park.

Avoid if you can. I have done mistake and went there to do my MOT. Because then I did not know any mechanic who could carry out all the jobs which they list on my car I have overpaid for the job. Luckly that was my las visit there.

Extremely poor customer service by the main guy who appears to be the manager. Sacked a guy half way through the job he was completing on two of my cars... come back 1hr later only to receive pi** poor attitude and an excuse that he sacked the guy so the job couldn't be completed . Unbelievable. Had the works carried out next door at Halfords. Half the price , twice the quality and customer service and no BS. AVOID THIS PLACE AND THE ASIAN GUY WHO WORKS (RUNS THE PLACE) THERE.

90 minutes to change two front tyres. I wish used my regular kwik fit instead. Another regret is the extra £15 i paid for the tyre guarantee. Which means i may have to use their services again in case of tyre damage!

I did all-four wheel alignment on two cars with these guys, and it was done well. It is one of rare shops which use metric torque wrench (instrument which allows to measure the tightening force) to tighten wheel nuts instead of pneumatic gun.

Asian Manager whose name sounds like Wyoming was abrupt, obnoxious and unhelpful. I phoned the Hendon Branch to ask if I could bring my car in to have the tyres checked after having them fitted at another branch on Saturday. Everyone I'd spoken to at NT till him, was friendly and helpful. But he sounded like he was barking at me. When I said this, he said he was very busy. So I ignored his manner. He agreed for me to come in. Before leaving I phoned again to confirm the time was still suitable. He said ''yes should be''. So I went. I waited at the empty reception desk whilst he ignored me and counted cash. About 5 minutes later he looked up and asked if I was ok. Well yes I'm fine, thanks for asking but I'm actually there for a reason, not my well being. So perhaps a simple ''Can I help you?'' would be appropriate and polite. I realise standards have dropped but this casual street talk attitude doesn't cut it. The first thing he asked, abruptly, was have you got your receipt. Well no. Did he ask for it the two times I spoke to him on the phone? No. Yet when I'm there its the first thing he asks. I explained I'd spoken to him twice and he never mentioned it. Had he done so I'd have brought it. He clearly didn't like my reply to told me he wouldn't look at the car. He could easily have taken the reg number or found the details of my invoice, but he set out to be difficult. I asked him to call head office, which he didn't. I eventually got their number, talked to a couple of wrong departments before the customer service woman agreed his actions were wrong. I waited another 15 minutes, before one of the mechanics came out to take my car. He was Abdul, who seemed pleasant enough. However, he kept gaslighting me, by denying the problem I was having with the tyre. He blamed a different tyre. I wasn't blaming anyone, balancing is bit of an art, yet like many places, they always try and cover themselves, During the checks Abdul let me be in the garage to see what was going on. Then suddenly Wyoming came out and started barking again that I couldn't be in the garage. Threatening again to leave the work with a dead frozen expression. The manager thinks he's Mr Big, he's actually a tool and bully boy with an attitude problem whose deliberately obstructive. In the current climate staff behaving so rudely will make customers go elsewhere. Business suffers because no one wants to deal with them. I am clearly not the first to refer to this man. So why does NT not take decisive action? Does it want to lose customers? The place was empty the whole time I was there.

Hi, Please avoid this place as much as possible. They are very unprofessional, grumpy and miserable. I've been here last week for 2 tyres replacement and MOT. I've had my car for 7 years and always past MOT with no issues. This guy's "found" not 1, but 7 issues. They decided to make some money on me but lucky me I've got my own mechanic and I've took the car to his garage. Once the car was on the ramp my mechanic told me from the start that the left hand side lower arm rubber protection was damaged by the guys from the mot test centre on purpose. That rubber protection wasn't very expensive but because I couldn't find one so quick due to this covid 19 problem, I've decided to replace the whole arm. That cost me 130 pounds. I've fixed the other issues and I went back to the test center to have the mot done again within those 10 days. I had to pay another 31 pounds for the retest and one of the headlights adjustment. I didn't even argue with them on this because I know how they are. So I've decided to leave a negative feedback and nothing can change my mind. Another issue is the staff. Very unprofessional especially the asian guy at the reception. Extremely arrogant and doesn't have any patients at all with his customers. Stay away!

The best service I’ve received for a very long time. Head office need to recognise this branch and the team they have in place. They went above and beyond to ensure my car was sorted and worked way past their working hours two days in a row without charging anything extra. Through it all they kept me informed and had a great sense of humour. Normally garages can be soul destroying intimidating places to go BUT I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this branch to anyone.

Had to bring back my car for wheel alignment, as it was not done properly first time. Got their 50% off voucher but it might be better idea to bring it somewhere else and pay a little bit more. The staff is rude, I did not feel welcomed on first visit. When came back for realignment, had to wait in a queue for 40minutes! They did not even say sorry for wasting my time! The technician who was dealing with my car was polite but the administrator really needs to fix his attitude. Not coming here again.

Awful!!!! Such a rip off and bad service. If you are a women they think you are stupid! Be careful! I would never go back to this place! They will put wrong information on your MOT and definitely fail it. Just a big rip off place. Would not recommend it at all! I had to get the CV gaiter changed and they quoted £400, I got it done somewhere else for £90. Shocking!!! Then they put that all my break discs and pads are worn out although they were not! Anyways! Just DO NOT GO THERE!!!

How refreshing not to be “ripped off “ . Took my car in a couple of weeks ago as front tyre kept going flat. Mechanic spent over an hour rectifying the problem and solved it without trying to con me (like so many other places) into buying new tyre. Would thoroughly recommend.

Really helpful and friendly team. My TPMS valves had broken on two of my wheels - they did not have the right model to replace them so they swapped them out for Standard valves just in case the broken ones failed and ordered the correct parts in. Went back a few days later (after they called to tell me the price and when they would be available) and they fitted them and all working correctly again. The price was really reasonable for the amount of time it took + parts and they did not charge me for fitting the standard valves. Very highly rated and will use again. Ohh can see my car Beeing move now.. so if you want Tyres fitted from national tyre in Hendon .. spare hours waiting .. Last really cold winter had some tyre nd break issue and had an emergency... Especially as was shuttling the toddlers around..ANYWAYS MANAGED TO GET TO THE SHOP ALMOST CLOSING AND althouh initial misunderstanding on the phone and the staff had plans themselves... THEY STAYED OVER AN HOUR AFTER CLOSING to make sure they finished the job.. which had some hiccups... suffice to say WOW wasnt enough... If I could give more than five stars i would. The staff members here are always amazing. Clear and go above and beyond for customers..... And the winter incident wasnt the only time..every time they will give best options and most budgetary....

Now... here's the amazing part... these guys saw us waiting outside and offered us a seat in their customer waiting area!! Thank you 'National' ???????? next time I know where give my money!!

I had booked my car in for a brake check at Halfords Autocentre in Hendon. I have brakes for life with them so it was the logical thing to do. My appointment was for 09:30 and I arrived at around 08:45 to drop the car off. Upon entering the office I was greeted by the obnoxious, rude, and disrespectful person in charge who told me that they were understaffed that day, and that he doesn't know when they will be able to check my car. Trying to be understanding I asked more than once if he could give me some idea as to how long I can expect to wait for the simple check to be carried out. He flat out refused to give me either a rough idea, or any kind of apology for the inconvenience. He simply brushed me off with a "we will call you once it's done". At 12:30 almost 4 hours since dropping off the car and 3 hours past my scheduled appointment I returned to Halfords Autocentre in Hendon to enquire as to the progress. The same rude moron greeted me and seemed peeved that I was asking for an update. "I said I would call you when it was done" he angrily reiterated and even at 12:30 he was unable to tell me when my car would be checked. Still no apology! At this point I had had enough and asked for my keys back, which he happily gave back to me, still without an apology. He made me feel like nothing more than an inconvenience. Apparently he is an assistant manager. I think that speaks volumes of Halfords' hiring and promotion policies! Upon receiving my keys I took the car directly next door to National Tyres and Autocare. I was greeted politely and professionally by Wai-Ming Ng and Lyle Billings who arranged for my brakes to be checked immediately. Not 15 minutes later and my brakes were checked and the diagnosis passed onto me. I needed new pads which were ordered and delivered within 45 minutes, and the fitting completed professionally by Michael Gilbertson. The entire process was carried out with the utmost professionalism and the level of customer service I received was the polar opposite of the treatment I experienced by the talentless oaf at Halfords. Thank you National, and thank you Wai-Ming NG, Lyle Billings, and Michael Gilbertson! Shame on you Halfords!

I usually visit centre at 1a, Hyde Estate Rd, London NW9 6JX which is close to my house. As I work near Borehamwood I decided to use store Unit 4, Elstree Trading Estate Elstree Way, Borehamwood, WD6 1GJ ..oh boy what a mistake I made. When I got to Borehamwood, garage looked empty and guys were standing outside, which is not a problem. I got in and waited until Robert (I believe this is his name, blondish guy) came in. As soon as he walked in and greeted me I knew this guy hated his job. Very unpleasant and rude man. I told him what my problem with the car is and, on his way, out of the office – yes on his way out of the office, over his shoulder he mumbled it will be 10-15 minutes. Wait was not the problem, his attitude was. I immediately decided I do not trust this guy to look at my car and told him I will take my car some place else and walked out. When I got to “Hyde” branch what a different customer service!!! Guys with a smile and very, very polite and they got my car sorted. I don’t know what possessed me to use branch in Borehamwood, but from now on for me only exist “Hyde” branch and nothing else. National Tyres, please sort your employees out at Borehamwood branch as I believe this was not the first complaint Robert had!! How on earth can you let someone like him represent your name is beyond me. (Mr. Klein is not the customer, his girlfriend is)

Done my oil & filter change with them after a horrible experience at Wembley branch . The branch manager of Hendon Branch (Lyle ) literally saved me from wasting my whole day at Wembley for nothing . He offered the service done at his branch ASAP and handled everything efficiently . Great service quick warm and job was done in an hour . Very satisfy so far . Will use again for sure . But Wembley branch is a let off . Well done Lyle and his team at Hendon on the other hand .

The worst service work shop ever!!! I would suggest anyone to avoid this Hendon national tyre service at all cost!!! First car had two new tyres fitted, they offered 20% off car alighment service because front passenager tyre is not perfect in alighment. So took the offer, worst decision ever. When I got the car back the steering wheel was 10% out of horizontal level. The car was pulling to the left massivly. Guess what the staff in National tyre said: ‘ Most of the UK roads is curved to left, you need to go on M1 to test the car’ !!!! Came back for 2times still the same, they refund the money. I went else where. Second car in July 2018, saw the staffs are changed. So I thought lets give a second chance to this poor company. Had my car alignment done, after almost 2hours on the laser machines, the road test result still pulling to one side. Same thing said by the “NEW” staffs, you need to take on a M road. Full of BSs!!!!! Ask them to put the car on the machine again, looks like the man in charge of a 4men team said, give me 10mins. I’m having a cig break. At this moment I was the only customer, the station is empty. No other jobs going on. So I went to the waiting area, 5mins, 10mins 15mins. No-one come and serve me. I came out and try to find out whats going on? and what I see was shocking, the man in charge alone with a member of staff is have a cig break “IN SIDE THE YARD” of National tyres workshop. I immediately ask for the refund of my £75, the staff who was smoking with the man in charge came and done the refund. I said to him you are breaking the LAW to smoke indoor. He replied: we have all these car fumes going on in the workshop, so it does not matter if we smoke in or out. I lost my words at this point. I hope national tyres can look into this case!!! Perhaps educate your employees more on the health and safety side of the law.

Oil change is cheap and instantly where you can see them changing the oil ,,, other garage they claim they change oil as they always ask you to leave the car and come 3 or 4 hours later , and if you insist to stay they refuse to service your car also some charge very much more than average price if you insist to be change immediately while you are looking??? TRUE ... watch youtube for garage scam and becarful... thank you for reading

LONG WAITING... SLOW SERVICE Even we called the centre before arrival to make sure will be served on-time as our appointment is been made at 2pm, still they made us to wait 60 minutes, then they took the car in the service centre and obviously said I must wait another 90 minuted for changing a simple tyres.

Used National Tyres and Autocare (different branches) for oil change couple of times. Normally it was ok, however my last visit at this particular branch was a bit poor. My car has undertray fitted which is screwed using 4 or 5 screws. Guys took it down and then came to me and said that it was going to cost £12. While I don't disagree with the charge for manual labour, I think that "£6 to £12" on their confirmation means basically £12. It came to me as a shock because I have used other branches before and I have never been charged, let alone so much for a simple thing. With this cost, a cheap oil change now change ame with the price of an oil change anywhere else. I guess I will use different branch next time.
