Popped along to change an indicator bulb. Mechanic didnt even open the unit to check the bulb size but claimed he didn't have an replacement bulb that size purely from looking through the covering!!!!!!

Shocking place! Arrived for a 9am tyre fitting to find the garage closed. A staff member who had arrived on time for their shift was also left in the dark, thanks to a completely incompetent manager who thinks its fine to open the shop over an hour late because he was 'feeling a bit ill and overslept'. After waiting for around 40 minutes I headed to the nearby Watford branch who were excellent and offered to do the tyres right away even though their garage was full. They didn't quite have the correct tyre, but something similar. Just as they were about to take the tyres off my car, they received a call to say the Hatch End shop is now open, approx. 10:15am by now. So headed back there to have the tyres fitted that I had initially ordered. When I returned and asked the manager about what was going on, I received no apology and he even tried to tell me my appointment was not until 10am so there was nothing to worry about. Utterly rude and incompetent manager at the branch, would never return for any work there. Called the area manager who said he would investigate, and assured me I'd be due some compensation. Have chased up a couple of times but still nothing. Avoid this branch at all costs!

I booked a tyre replacement plus free wheel alignment, battery check and visual brake check. The guy who did the tyre replacement was unsmiling, quite sullen in fact and hardly said a word to me. I requested him to place the wheel balancing weights on the inside of the wheel rather than the outside, when he finished I found the weights on the outside. I asked him about wheel alignment, he said Hatch End don't have the equipment. He plain declined to do a battery check. He was argumentative, showed no courtesy, so I didn't even want to ask about the brake check and just left as soon as I could. This is the worst kind of treatment I can imagine.

Went to get a slow puncture repaired yesterday at 4pm. Thought I was in luck as there were no other customers and 2 members of staff. They wouldn't do it as I didn't have a booking and they had another customer booked in at 4.30! Clearly the effort and reward for a puncture repair is not worth their while.
Will not be going back for anything.

Qaz competitively quoted me, and did the job the next day no fuss, and very quickly.
Have no hesitation in recommending them as a fair and honest outfit providing top class work.

I had a flat tyre. I walked in to kwik fit I explained everything to Abdul and he helped me so well and made everything I was going through so clear and he was so polite and I appreciate Aziz’s help as he was so polite and changed the tyre immediately, checked all my pressures and to see if anything was wrong with the other tyres. Thanks kwik fit !

Took over 1 week to source the tyre, no email updates saying there is a delay.
Once received at the centre then managed to scratch my diamond cut alloy while fitting. I complained the next day after cleaning and nothing the damage, they didn't want to know and told me to phone customer services!
Will not be using again or recommending to anyone.

We were staying with relatives locally and had a major issue with the exhaust system and wheels on Friday night. Qaz went above and beyond to try and source the parts the next day, he was on the phone for ages trying to get them for us, and overall the service we had here was second to none. All the work was done in quick time and whilst I realise that at times large companies like kwik fit can be criticised I have nothing but positive things to say about Qaz and his team. Five stars all the way, a good example of where customer service and quick but thorough work combine

Had four Dunlop Sport tyres fitted to my Astra, and the fitting was fine. However I only drove home that day but the next morning the car report that the back right tyre was deflating. Returned the car to KwikFit and it was discovered that the valve was leaking badly. Qasim fixed the leak though pointed out that there was some roughage around the valve seat. Whatever Qasim did it fixed the leak. However a few days later there seemed to be a much slower leak to the rear left tyre. I guessed it was a similar problem with the valve, so I ask Qasim to do his magic again. All seems to be OK now.
It is interesting that the front wheels are OK, the car is only 3 year old and this is the first change of tyres. I thanked Qasim for his patience and like you to put it on record.

Phoned up to get new rear brakes fitted to my car, this is for a Monday, they said they couldn't do it until Wednesday when the Brake man was in?? I'm not a mechanic and I can fit brake pads. Sounds lazy to me or very low skilled staff??
