I cannot recommend Passway Drive any more. I had Zak as my instructor and he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. In addition to using written instruction and diagrams, Zak also used anecdotes from past learners to help me understand the proper way of driving which really helped me.
Coming from driving in the States it took a little time for me to get accustomed to driving on the other side of the road but Zak was patient and understanding. He knew what I was going to do before I even did it!
Roundabouts were my worst nightmare. Zak understood this and adjusted our lessons to make sure I was getting ample practice with all types of roundabouts.
Zak not only prepares you to pass the exam, but also makes sure you are a safe driver on the whole. He provides instruction in a calm, encouraging manner and never once made me feel uncomfortable. He genuinely cares about teaching you to be a safe driver and his passion shines through with everything he does.
My instructor was extremely flexible around my schedule and was really accommodating. Completely transparent, reliable and trustworthy. He really went the extra mile in adjusting his schedule to get my lessons booked in. When I needed just a bit more practice before my test, without hesitation he said he would make it happen.
I failed my first test due to a silly mistake on my part but we booked another 2 lessons and I just passed on my second exam with only 3 minor faults!
I have no hesitation in saying Zak was the reason I passed my exam so quickly! Definitely get in touch with Passway Drive if you want to learn how to drive safely and pass your driving exam in no time.

I got in contact in Zak before lockdown to book some lessons in for my test this morning. We managed to squeeze in 4 hours (2 hours today and 2 hours yesterday) to get me test ready. Zak is a great instructor and knows the area so well which is how I managed to Pass from only driving a while ago! I couldn't recommend a better instructor.

I passed first time today in Wanstead, with 1 minor.
I came to Zak with low confidence, self esteem and bad habits after a bad experience with a different instructor. Zak started from the beginning with me and made sure I was competent in each module before progressing to another subject. I learn by having routines and a methodical approach, Zak understood this and tailored everything to my learning and needs.
Zak took the time to listen and understand me as a person, as well as the way I learn. We established a great partnership as well as a friendship, Zak genuinely cares about you and your wellbeing. It was a great collaborative process. I enjoyed going to all of my lessons, Zak was never impatient or rude and I could talk to him as a friend. Zak knew I had a fear of roundabouts and provided with me lessons on a Sunday at 6am so I could keep practicing.
I applied everything exactly as Zak taught me and passed. Zak spent many early mornings with me around work and studies and leading up to my test.
Zak, I cannot thank you enough for everything. Thank you so much. We did it!

After many years of trying to get up to test standard in different parts of the UK with many instructors I was lucky enough to find Zak. I literally couldn't believe how many things I had been failed to be taught and how easy he made maneuvers which had always seemed immensely complicated in the past. Every second of the lesson he is making sure you get every penny's worth of tuition, the car is nice to drive with nice modern features such as rear view camera and decent air conditioning which make learning a whole lot easier. Couldn't reccomend enough, proper nice guy!!

I had a really great experience with Zak at Passway drive. He knows the local area really well, and we were able to practice the test routes, so on the day of the test there weren't any surprises. Zak teaches you to a really high standard and very methodically, not missiing out anything, but also building confidence and moving you on the the next step at the right time. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Zak and passway to anyone!

I've passed my driving test yesterday! Before I started with Zak I had taken the test 5 times and failed but passed first time with him.
Zak is great, he is observative, really listens to you and adjusts the lesson to your needs. He is enthusiastic, calm and he loves teaching. It was great training with him!
We did all the test routes and practised everything in depth before the test so I was feeling ready and confident. The car was also super easy to handle. I absolutely recommend him and Passaway Drive School!

I really struggled to understand how to select an instructor. I now know that instructors have grades/levels-- and Zak is the highest level, which certainly shows. However, I didn't know that when i was looking for an instructor and many of my friends had experienced difficulty with theirs. So I decided the only way to make an informed decision was to try out three different instructors by repeating the "first lesson" three times, and compare. When I told Zak that was my plan, he was really supportive of it. He told me that different instructors have different styles, and I was doing the right thing. He was absolutely right that different instructors have different styles; they were completely different, and I cannot emphasize enough how much better Zak's lesson was in comparison to the others. For me, it was like night and day! Zak's lesson was well prepared, structured and incredibly thorough, he gave me clear instructions, explained the reasons behind each skill/process, gave me tips on how to remember them, and clear reference points etc. Moving forward, he built on each skill as/when I was ready, adapting each lesson as required, tested me on each step so I got used to exam pressure, provided me with tons of concise materials to review/practice in between lessons, and I felt really supported the whole time. Zak is calm, very knowledgeable, a fantastic and very professional teacher, tries hard to enable his students to pass as quickly as possible, and also a really funny and interesting guy to hang out with. He went to great lengths to make sure I was confident and ready for my test, we practiced all the test routes, and he pushed me to be really well prepared. I think it made all the difference. He really does go the extra mile and makes sure the other instructors do the same. I highly recommend Zak, and Passway drive school. I will definitely be doing my Pass Plus with Zak too.

I started with Zak as someone that has never driven before and I was 32 years old when we began our lessons together. He is strict but knows his trade inside out and will not go out of his way to demean his pupils. Here I am 6 months later with 1st time pass on my test and only 1 minor fault! What stood out about Zak's teaching style was his maticulate attention to detail and further detailed explanation (as opposed to other instructors ive had in the past that only show, but dont explain)

I went to Zak after 7 instructors. The first lesson was a real eye opener on how little I knew about driving even after having lessons consistently for over a year, that's when I knew Zak would be the right instructor.
I started from scratch with Zak and each lesson I could see a huge difference in my driving and could see how each lesson was carefully planned and built on previous lessons, to make each subject stronger and ensure nothing was forgotten. Zak was well organised and the lessons were very structured. He explained each process and the theory behind it which allowed me to really understand what I was doing and how to do it.
Doing my first roundabout with Zak, I was on edge because of how nervous they made me, but after helping me get over my fear of roundabouts, I was confident enough to go out in my car and do the roundabouts knowing I could do them without any help.
He really went the extra mile and was very adaptable to help me with anything I was struggling with, overcoming my nerves and all the bad habits I had. Zak was extremely patient and calm; he would answer all of my questions even if they seemed trivial and irrelevant and would explain things in numerous ways until I understood.
After 5 months of covering the whole syllabus and doing loads of mock tests we were both confident I was ready and would pass my test. I can't thank Zak enough for the confidence and the amazing amount of support he gave for me to pass my test.
Before coming to Zak, I though it would take me a long time to get through driving and would not be able to drive by myself, I went for my first alone drive the day after my test and was confident in my driving and decisions. I highly recommend Zak and Passway Drive.

Had a great experience doing my Pass Plus course with Zak. He is an excellent teacher and really pushes you to be the best driver possible! I feel so much more confident on motorways and dual carriageways now, and he corrected a lot of bad habits I had picked up too. I feel like I made so much progress with him and he puts in so much effort to make sure you’re driving well.

I Highly recommend Passway Drive school Zak is an amazing and honest driving instructor he teaches the alphabet of driving not missing the smallest detail that might face on test day has great ways of teaching by patiently explaining demonstrating and providing helpful notes to revise after lessons never late or neglecting,treating his students like friends and not just clients gives more confidence in ones self, his great ways of teaching makes a fail near impossible Passed Today FIRST TIME after only 18 lessons is a statement on its own. I passed my test 3 years ago and was lacking confidence on dual carriageways and motorways. I decided to do a pass plus course with Passway driving school.
The course was well structured I also did SATNAV driving something which I had no experience with. I am feeling a lot better about my driving and feel I improved significantly on my journey through the pass plus course with my instructor Zak. I gained life long skills. I highly recommend them.

Zak is a phenomenal instructor who pays attention to every single detail making sure you pass on your first Test.
Very strict, very straight forward but 100% worth it !!!
If at times I thought he was way to harsh it's because he expects all his pupils to pass with little if not no mistakes (3 minors in my case) ????????
I am over the moon with our results and would recommend Zak to anyone who wants to learn how to drive properly !

I'm so glad to chose Ibrahim as my driving instructor! He has lots of patience, was always on time and kept to all our lesson bookings. Ibrahim is a professional, he is knowledgeable instructor and is always clear on his instructions. He helps his students to built the confidence in driving and many of them pass their driving test from first attempt.

I highly recommend Zak who taught me how to drive safely and confidently from scratch. He was my first instructor and remained my instructor until the very end. His lessons are very well structured and he can adapt his teaching style to different individuals. He is a proper chilled guy and incredibly patient especially when you require more practice on certain elements. He is also strict where he would discuss what your problems are when driving no matter how small it is. This enabled me to be much better at driving and drive a lot more confidently. He would take you through every route and every roundabout possible and get you confident in these big routes that may appear in your driving test.
Zak has allowed me to go from someone who never driven before to someone who passed first time in the Wanstead test centre and I thank him for staying with me for so long even with a year gap of no lessons due to having uni.
He is one of the best instructors you can find in East London!!

It was my first time booking and learning to drive with a driving instructor, it was a nightmare even getting through to other companies by email or on the phone. With Passway it was quick and easy, as soon as I rang them I was booked in for assessment and took regular lessons with Zak. He gave me constructive feedback where I needed it and really encouraged me, I was never put off. Pleased to say I’ve now passed my driving test at the first attempt with only 1 minor..! Very grateful to Zak - I would definitely recommend Passway to anyone who wants to learn how to drive even with no previous experience.

Well what can I say..... words can’t express enough how fantastic this instructor his. I’m usually sceptical in reviews but trust me when say this instructor goes above and beyond in helping you pass the 1st time!! I’ve seen my fair share of instructors who keeps you at bay for their benefits. However, this instructor pushes you out of your comfort zone and boosts your confidence which is rare to find. I’m only saying this because I’ve passed my exam first time so the proofs in the pudding ;).

I started my driving lessons with Zak from scratch. Although I’ve driven before (in a different country) I lost confidence over time and the best decision I made was to start learning with Passway Driving School in Walthamstow. Zak helped me to quickly learn UK driving rules and driving best practices. I’ve made a great improvement within a short period of time. He prepared me very well for the driving test and I managed to pass in Wanstead test centre, which is one of most difficult driving test areas in London. When I first started I couldn’t even drive 20mph in a straight line. I am now a very confident driver thanks to Zak’s amazing teaching skills.

Highly Reccomend Passway Drive School Of Motoring - Passed 1st Time Before the Lockdown with a clean sheet! In Chingford.
Firstly, Lessons were well planned and structured clearly. My designated instructor had a clear comprehensive understanding of test routes which were highly beneficial as a similar route was used in my test.
Secondly, my instructor Zak was a very patient and encouraging teacher that not only gave me the expertise to pass my test but to also be a confident driver independently.
Finally, no wonder Passway Drive School Of Motoring is such a popular driving school in the East London area, as they are the best in the business. Just to emphasise passed with a clean sheet.

Having had a couple of instructors before, although they were good they just did not compare. Emile is an incredibly patient teacher and as someone who has been a bit nervous/anxious about driving in the past, I found his style just the right balance of calm while still challenging and helping me to improve and perfect my driving. I'm very happy to recommend this driving school - I just passed in Wanstead, thanks to Zak. I had started lessons elsewhere but was getting nowhere with them and had lost confidence. Zak really took me back to basics with great structure to lessons and a thorough grounding in every aspect of driving. Zak is very thorough, using slides and photos to help you remember key points, good use of the dash cam to go over performance, and lots of mock tests to help you prepare. All this helped me get through - thanks for your help.

To whom will read this review, I hope to provide you an extensive guide of the outstanding driving tuition that I had experienced at the widely known 'Passway Drive School of Motoring'.
Firstly, after contacting the driving firm, who were very friendly and efficient over the phone. They were able to provide me instant lessons and a designated instructor. Zak who was my delegated advanced driving instructor (Grade A Instructor), was a passionate and highly knowledgeable instructor. It was clearly evident through Zak's prior lesson planning and management , that each lesson would further enhance my strength, as well as tackle my weaknesses in order to make me a competent driver. To further compliment this, Zak's use of visual aids throughout each lesson , like his diagrams and video playback footage not only emphasises the extent Zak will go to provide his clients a high degree of driving tuition, but it also shows the passion he has for teaching. Not only did I feel prepared for my driving test, I also felt that Zak's style of teaching and knowledge has given me the confidence to drive independently now I have passed my test in any condition.
Furthermore, after only 40 hours of lessons, I was adamant on taking my driving test at Wanstead driving centre which has been harshly labelled online as the 'hardest area to pass your test'. Despite the negative connotations towards Wanstead test centre , Zak's tuition had highly prepared me for the test and due to his vast experience in the subject , many mock tests my instructor had conducted , where we went over several test routes that could potentially come up during my test. I was fortunate to then have a similar test route come up on my exam. On the day of the test, Zak had given me an admirable talk that had boosted my confidence before the test, as I was rather nervous. However, all of my instructors hard work was evident , as I had passed in a manual transmission with a clean sheet, no minor errors at Wanstead. All praise must go to Zak to whom prepared me to tackle any driving route possible.
To conclude, I hope this review has given many potential customers the drive to contact and take their driving lessons with 'Passway Drive School of Motoring'. For me to label this company as the 'best driving school in London' would be an understatement, hence I urge any individual who wants to posses a high standard of driving to take their lessons with Zak.

I highly recommend Passway Drive School Of Motoring.
Having previously taken lessons on and of with another driving school my work colleague who had recently passed her driving test advised me to take lessons with Passway Drive as I felt like I was not progressing with my previous instructor.
This was the best advice my mate gave me!!!!
My instructor was so knowledgeable that this review cannot bring to light how much of a superb teacher he is. The tuition I received was remarkable and the standard of learning I received was far more superior than my previous instructor.
No wonder Passway Drive has a 5 star rating and one thing I realised was that in my local area of Waltham Forest it was the one of few driving schools that actually have a shop on Forest Road that just shows the professionalism of the company.
I realised after taking lessons with them how little I learnt from my previous instructor and instantly started to become a much more competent driver. Due to the hardwork from my instructor I passed first time at Wanstead which after reading online articles about is considered as one of the hardest areas to pass a driving test.

Deffinatley recommend I had about 3 weeks to prepare for my test I had two instructors previously, If I had stuck with them I don’t think I would have passed! Zak’s teaching is amazing, he provided me structure and correct road knowledge, he was patient and teaches in a way your guaranteed to pass! My test was at Wanstead which has one of the lowest pass rates I was so nervous and thought it would all go wrong but thanks to Zak with only 3weeks of the correct preparation I was able to pass my driving test 1st time with only one minor! I cannot express how grateful I am! Zak was patient and thorough, as his student he made me a priority, I was able to be confortable and confident when driving I had 100% trust in him, he definitely knows what he is doing! Amazing driving school, Zak is an absolute diamond! He prepared me for everything that could have come up in the test and I ended up passing with one minor. I was supported throughout my learning and because of his method I now feel fully comfortable being behind the wheel and feel able to drive by myself with confidence. If you want to get the best results from your driving lessons, sign up with Passway Drive. As soon as I signed up with Passway Drive, Zak's teaching method brought me up to a very confident level in a very short time and space. What helped me most to pass the test was, watching a recording of my drive during each lesson and go over the mistakes I made to ensure I am looking at my performance and putting in place exactly what was missing to improve my driving and not to repeat same mistakes over and over. This method totally paid off.
It doesn't do justice to call Zak a driving instructor, he is more like a driving coach. He was super committed to my success. He has great understanding of the learner's needs and was very good at assessing what I needed to work on the most and focus on those points.
And finally it felt great to work with someone who knows the importance of the mindset of the learner and delivers the best support all the way through until the day of the test.

Having failed twice with red driving school, my instructor was unable to take me to my third driving test.
This was very stressful as he gave me no notice. I then came across Passway Driving school who were ranked as the best driving school in Waltham Forest.
The manager Zak fitted me in at short notice, he gave me professional tuition targeted to my faults.
I can honestly say that he is the best instructor that has taught me and I learned so much in a short space of time.
Many clever techniques and rules were conveyed, that of which I had no knowledge of before I met him. I passed first time with Passway Drive due to Zak’s hard work and determination to get me through.
