Zak is just an amazing instructor, he is really patient and knows what he is doing I passed with just 1 minor ...ONE. Implemented everything he taught me in the test and was confident I was going to pass I knew everything he taught me and didn’t doubt anything in this test, I would DEFFO recommend him I was looking everywhere for an instructor but couldn’t find one and he took me on in such short notice

Being 39 i was very nervous learner having had bad instructor experience in the past. But with Zak he explained each part of the syllabus patiently and comprehensively. Taking the time to teach me properly. If I struggled with a subject he came up with clever ways to help me remember and get better, adapting his teaching to help me understand. I passed 1st time with only 3 minors and this is down to the hard work and patience of Zak. He worked around the clock to make me less nervous and a safe driver and get test ready. Having passed I feel I have the tools to be a good driver. Zak is an absolutely brilliant instructor who is passionate and a great teacher. He has great attention to detail and is a nice, calm, reliable guy. He teaches you the correct procedures to make you a good driver. I fully recommend Zak and his driving school and feel lucky to have found his driving school and have leant through them.

I passed first time at Wanstead Test Centre today with 3 minors.
As a complete beginner I was nervous about feeling overwhelmed, especially on London roads. I was immediately put at ease by Zak's methodical and clear manner. It was a thorough learning experience with dashcam footage and diagrams for support. I always left lessons feeling confident and looking forward to the next.
Zak is a detailed instructor and I could not have passed without his patience and expertise.

Huge thanks to this people. Amazing experience since the very first start of my driving journey. From booking, payment, down to arranging your driving lesson is a top notch service. Ibrahim is my instructor and all he do is to boost my confidence every single lesson we have, you always go home with a new knowledge. he is just a professional friendly guy. I can't thank him enough, it was tough but on the day he believe that i will pass my test and yes i did pass with 5 silly minors which is all due to me being nervous. I have just passed my driving test and I would love to say a big THANK YOU to Zak, he's friendly, patient and experienced. I were very nervous at the beginning but Zak made me feel relax and gain my confident. I've had a great experience with Passway, right through from not being able to start a car a few months back, to passing the driving test. Instruction was excellent throughout, with a clear syllabus, and subject areas linking up as the course progressed.
Beyond that, lessons were tailored to suit my particular trouble spots, and being able to immediately review footage within the car, from the front and rear facing cameras, was a great help. Lessons were also enjoyable, and delivered with large measures of humour and patience.
In short, I haven't got enough good things to say, thank you!

I was so impressed with the service I received from Passway Driving School. Zak is an excellent instructor, very patient and thorough. I was pregnant while I was learning and Zak was very sensitive to this, he broke things down so they we're in more manageable chunks for me, and it worked, I passed first time!
My lessons were well planned out and I always knew what was left for me to learn at the end of each session. The diagrams, videos and explanations Zak sent after each lesson were incredibly helpful and meant I could keep learning between sessions.

After a very long break from driving triggered by a minor road accident I had years ago, Zak has managed to get me driving again...this is a miracle as I thought the likelihood of me ever finding the confidence to be back behind the wheel of a car again this life were practically zero!....Zak is so so thorough and meticulous in his style of teaching and shares so many reference points which help to demystify some of the more complex aspects of driving. I would highly recommend refresher lessons with Zak for anyone who has had a break from driving or just wants to become a more competent and confident driver.

Zak is very knowledgeable in his field and has a very good teaching technique - he really knows how to make things stick, which is key in memorising routines. After about 6 weeks of lessons, I passed my test today at the first attempt and really can’t thank him enough!

It was a pleasure taking my lessons with this establishment.
Started of my lessons with driving instructor Emile but unfortunately his car had a fault and manager of the driving school Zak took over and today got my pass after he pushed me and made sure my driving is up to par and spot on.
They are always there to support you every step of the way and it was a delight learning from them.

Just had my driving test at Chingford test centre and passed 2nd time. My examiner was Sandra, she was a lovely, laid back women and the examiners are on you’re side 100%. My driving instructor was Emile and I’d recommend him to anybody 100% one of the best driving instructors around!!!

Highly, highly recommend. I honestly don't think I would have passed first time with anyone else, it was entirely down to Zak's knowledge, experience and patience. Zak has a fantastic teaching technique which makes absolutely sure that each step is understood and practiced until it becomes a natural habit. This meant when I took my test I felt completely confident and passed easily and even quite enjoyed it, despite starting as a nervous driver. A really, really excellent driving school.

Amazing!! If you need a driving instructor, don’t look any further!! Zak, with his knowledge and unique teaching techniques gets the job done. I passed my test first time in Wood Green with only 2 minor faults. It’s been a long journey for me, and everyone has their demons but Zak was patient every step of the way. If something didn’t click first time round, he would then come up with a way so that it would. He built up my confidence to be test ready, and put in the time to teach the subjects correctly. His passion for what he does shows and I feel so lucky to have been taught by him.
I really cannot fault him, I cannot recommend enough!!

Passway Driving School has been a God send for both my husband and myself. We both passed with the same instructor first time at Wanstead test centre. There is no short-cut method of passing the driving test in London and Passway makes sure that they get you ready for the test. Their approach to teaching how to drive can only be given an "A star" as they do it absolutely right. Not only they make sure that the driver is confident behind the wheel but they know all the details of the highway codes and how to drive safely in a mad-place like London. In life there is no guarantee for most things. But my husband and I can say with 100% satisfaction and 100% guarantee that if you take your lessons properly with Passway, you will SURELY pass! They are truly truly!

After a long break from learning to drive, I chose Zak from Passway to help me pass my test in Wanstead. As I only had a limited time to pass my test in Zak went out of his way to fit in as many lessons as possible which lead to me passing my test first time with only two minors. Would fully recommend.

Everything you read about Passway is true. I passed my test first time in Wanstead a few weeks ago with 4 minor faults, and it's entirely down to Zak. He knows when to push you, as well as when to keep you relaxed with banter, and is professional throughout. I felt completely ready for my test, and thanks to Passway I've now got the best possible start to driving.

Zak was the 3rd instructor I had tried in Wood Green and I was astounded by the difference in the quality of teaching compared to the previous 2. Each lesson is structured, but Zak adapts lessons depending on your progress and has the patience to revisit areas that require improvement. You will never be ‘thrown in at the deep end’ like some instructors seem to want to do, which means that you will only start tackling busier roads once you have the ability and confidence to do so. Zak has a wealth of experience, is passionate about being a good instructor, and wants you to get good value for money. What’s more, he actually cares about your progress and really wants you to pass first time. It has been a pleasure to learn to drive with such a likeable and professional person.

I had a really good experience with Passway Drive. I passed my test first time in Chingford.
My instructor Zak really helped teach me all the skills required to get to test standard, especially my clutch control on all the manoeuvres so that they were executed properly.
He gave me a lot of confidence and encouraged me to get over the line.

I had a great experience with Passway Drive School of Motoring. My licence got taken away from me, for a drink driving offence.
I live in Walthamstow and when searching for a local driving school they came up high on the search and had very good reviews, so I thought I would give them a call and I am glad that I did.
I actually thought it wouldn't be too difficult to get the licence back due to my experience.
However, little did I know I had some very bad habits and the rules and procedures for doing certain manoeuvres seemed to have changed over the years.
I had to sit an extended driving test, lasting for 60mins. Initially I done the test in Loughton as it was the earliest one available. Unfortunately, I failed for driving too slow on a National Speed Limit road, I had missed the sign. I also had a observation fault at a blind junction where I pulled out without enough observation and forced traffic to slow down.
However, Zak the true professional that he is advised me to book another test in a more familiar area and I selected Enfield (where I passed) as I lived and grew up locally in Potters Bar.
With the extra lessons and doing Mock Tests with Zak, I was able to work out what to do in certain situations and learn how to deal with the pressure of being marked under exam conditions.
I can't praise my Instructor Zak enough, he is very knowledgable. He was always prompt, all my bookings were organised and my lessons were well planned and suited to my problem areas.
More than anything I felt he worked well with me as he understood that I wasn't a normal learner driver and helped me advance very quickly as he adapted his teaching to fix my issues with roundabouts and observation on the various manoeuvres.
I highly highly recommend Passway Drive without any hesitation to anyone seeking to gain a driving licence.

Fantastic Service.
I had very bad habits from driving in India.
I only did 4 lessons with Zak my instructor and he managed to give me the correct discipline and technical information required to pass the exam.
Highly recommend this driving school to anyone who is serious about passing the test in a short space of time first time.

While I normally do not spend my spare time writing reviews, in this instance I feel obliged to do so to try to prevent others to waste their money as I have. I have recently finished a block of 10 hours with Zak, although knowledgeable I will say that he puts all his efforts in extending the lessons to a extreme that after 10 hours I could basically say that I have only done theory and not practice. I must correct, when I say 10 hours I mean 9 hours 15 minutes, as every lesson he will either try to cut corners to end the lesson earlier or be late and doesn't recover that time lost... CONCLUSION: PLEASE THINK TWICE AND SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Learning to drive with Passway drive and passing first time with them was worth every penny and minute spent. Zaks method of teaching encouraged more than just passing your test and being done with it, it was about learning how to be a safe driver even after you walk away with that certificate.
Lessons were well planned, with the right level of encouragement , decent lengths, and priced at the quality of learning received.

I passed my driving test today! I would like to write this review to sincerely thank my instructor, Zak from Passway Drive School. I also want to share my personal experience with anybody who is looking for a good instructor.
Zak is a great instructor. His teaching skills are excellent. I have had 3 instructors before. Two of them are very nice people, and one of them is rude. By comparing them, I realized how excellent Zak is, as an instructor. He taught me everything I need to learn, including those knowledge other three instructors did not tell me. During each lesson, he not only told me orally how to do this and that, he also showed me pictures. Well, this is what every instructor normally does. However, Zak goes an extra mile. He personally drew pictures and sent them to me, especially drew the routes in Great Cambridge Junction. It helped me understand the roundabout a lot. Zak planned for my lessons as well. Though he has many pupils, he knew my progress. He knew exactly which areas I need to improve. He paid more attention on those areas on the day before my test. So I avoided making more mistakes and became confident before test. Another important point I would like to mention here is that Zak is very good at teaching manoeuvres. His instruction for each manoeuvre is clear and simple. It is very easy to remember and practise. He also summarized and made comparison for the manoeuvres. So I have a better understanding of all the manoeuvres.
After spending so much time, effort and money on driving, I realized how important to find a good instructor. Nice people may not have good teaching skills. Excellent teacher will make your life much easier. Zak is both nice and very professional. I will definitely recommend Zak and his Passway Drive School to you.

Zak is an amazing driving instructor... I couldn't have passed without him. He is very methodical, and empathetic with pupils and does what he can to tailor the learning to the pupil's skills. I have just done my first untutored drive to Southend (and back) and I know that without his constant reminders in my mind I would have felt a lot less confident in doing it than I did. Brilliant Instructors Grade A *
I passed my driving test first time in wood green today with this driving school. My licence got revoked due to a speeding offence just before my 2 years probation period ended so hence I lost my licence.
Zak managed to get rid of all my silly bad habits, helped cover all the test zone area & demonstrated how to do all the manoeuvres with the proper observation required.
I was taught in a very constructive way. The VW polo R line was a lovely car to learn in, the cameras installed to review live footage and help overcome faults is an advancement in the way of teaching and saved a great deal of time.

Hello everyone, I am so sorry for a very late review. I passed my driving test in Oct, 2015. I took driving lessons from Zak, at Passway driving school. He was the best at what he does. He is an excellent instructor. He was the reason I passed my driving test, first time. He is very particular at picking our mistakes, and helping us change our habits. He pays attention to every detail and guided me to become a better driver. I remember him sometimes even now when I drive on the road. So thank you Zak, not only for helping me pass but also for making me a better driver. I was with 4 other driving instructors and it is crazy to see the difference of quality and professionalism I seen on my journey to get the licence.
My instructor Zak was prompt with my bookings never cancelled last minute or disappeared altogether like my other instructors.
But above all the quality of teaching is exceptional. His teaching is very much in tune with the actual criteria of the driving test. Teaching techniques and reference points always help you stay on the correct path. The live footage played back in the car to go over faults is very helpful.
His guidance on what to expect and the mock tests I did helped me to realise the reoccurring mistakes I had to work on.

Fantastic driving school
Words can't explain how impressed I was with the quality of teaching in comparison to my previous driving instructor.
I was unsuccessful in my previous test and after passing today with 1 minor fault with Passway Drive at Tottenham driving test centre I can understand why.
The standard of my drive is so much better now, after being properly taught from the ground up the rules and routines by Zak, who has excellent communication and teaching skills.
My control of the car is clearly evident now and above all I feel very safe and ready to take on the challenging roads in London.

Unfortunately, when you first begin to drive, it's impossible to identify good or bad driving instructors because you don't have anything to compare it to! Having started with a pretty negligent instructor, I have to say that the standard of education I received at passway was INCREDIBLE. We're talking military operation style - attention to detail, friendly but concise approach. I wish I had been recommended passway from the start - I could have saved literally several hundred quid. More. Couldn't be happier with Zak's approach and depth of knowledge.

I started off with this school after being with two different driving schools before, where I didn't see any improvements on my driving. However, with Passway, I knew from day 1 it was a good school, very organised with booking and confirming driving lessons.
My instructor Zak taught me from the very basics, which I realised other driving schools lacked on. I passed after my second driving test, and it was all down to Zak's support! Honestly, I couldn't have done it without him. He pushes you in every lesson and makes sure you get it right before moving you on to the next topic.
I definitely recommend Zak from Passway, he provides mock tests before the actual practical test. This I found really helpful as it helped with calming my nerves and made me feel comfortable driving with the invigilator.

I passed in Chingford with my instructor Zak and I must rave about the positive experience.
This company went out of their way to arrange a booking for me at very late notice and provide the necessary training to get me to pass.
I honestly feel that the instructional training provided was very sound and it was tailored very well to my problems with roundabouts and the independent driving, as these were the areas I had issues with.

Passed first time in Wanstead thanks to this driving school. My instructors name was Zac (he also taught my sister who passed first time too), he is a very good instructor that really puts in the time to get you to actually drive rather than just going through the motions. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who is looking to pass and becoming a capable driver.
