Amazing supportive housing unit. The staff are fantastic and genuinely care about their clients. They have a plethora of programs that caters to everybody's individual needs. Overall, 10/10 would live there again.

PYV is an extremely handy way to get your life in order. I have been a resident here for the last year and I couldn't be more grateful for the journey. PYV offers amazing support, insightful group discussions, helpful reminders as well as a great understanding and application of individualized support. If you are having trouble getting out of bed, going to work, maintaining habits, creating meaningful relationships or even just suffer from a lack of motivation I would absolutely recommend coming here and making the most of your experience. The staff are always ready to listen and will assist you with whatever you need. From the bottom of my heart, thank you PYV - Aaron

This facility is polluted with staff who aren’t equipped to work with troubled youth lacking empathy understanding & conflict resolution if a problem does arise between two people they will more than likely sweep it under the rug silencing the issue letting it boil over leading to a out of control space and that’s only one defective way that fights between residents are handled you would think they would catch a hint that change is needed by the way residents behave towards each other that inevitably escalates to altercation. Also staff are far from professionals patronizing residents and flexing their authority over you any chance they get as if you are inferior to them there is no sense of equity in this place I myself along with many others had such tragic experiences here and I’m worried for the next young person who decides to live here I was bullied and constantly terrorized by fellow residents and at the time I expected more out of peel youth considering how promising it sounded in the beginning. Peel youth Village is a disease to the community and needs a wipe out in management & staff.

This place promises health and education and barely provides the minimum required. Of the 24 staff, 5 are good at their jobs. Rules mean nothing here as they are arbitrarily enforced. Residents are both bullied and oppressed by power-tripping tyrants in the guise of professionals. Services and facilities are old, dirty and broken. It's a great place if you don't mind kissing ass and quietly accepting abuse to both yourself and your fellow residents.

I have been a resident for 9 months now. I honestly do not understand the other negative reviews. The staff here have been nothing but supportive and kind, and have helped me through my mental health recovery tremendously. I don't know where i would be if it wasn't for peel youth village. I would recomend this place to anyone struggling with homelessness, addiction, or mental health.
