A big thankyou to the team at Next Property, i recently just moved out of my apartment in Great Portland Street, W1 which was managed by Next Property, and i wanted to thank the team for looking after me throughout the tenancy, its all the small touches which made all the difference ! such as the beautiful welcome pack when i moved in, and a hand written note given to me when i checked out. As a tenant i could not recommend them enough, they have always been prompt and gone the extra mile to look after me :)

Next were the agent and landlord of the property I was renting. They failed to protect my deposit, failed to perform an inventory, failed to repair some quite dangerous issues in the property and overall were highly unprofessional and dishonest.
Edit, after response from the owner:
An inventory is not a requirement but it is standard practice to make sure any deposit disputes can be easily settled. However, by not protecting my deposit AND not perfoming an inventory it implies to me that you knew there was no point in doing one as when a deposit is not protected properly the landlord must pay back the full deposit, regardless of any deductable item. And the room was in an HMO which is effectively it's own address, though that is irrelevant when performing an inventory in a preoperty with a deposit.
According to our contract YOU were legally my landlord and the contract states that it was YOUR responsibility to me to ensure all repairs are affected in a resonable time. Even if the property owner was subsequently responsible to you, YOU were responsible to ME, it was YOUR responsibility to make sure the property owner carried out HIS responsibility (if that was part of your contract with him).
But even if you dispute these points it does not change the fact that you failed to protect my deposit, your communication was terrible, 24hrs notice was not always given before accessing rooms, your practices were far from honerable and you repeatedly tried to get us to move out of the property because your poor management had resulted in the property making a loss. Which should be a warning for both prospective tenants and landlords.

Unprofessional and incompetent - Landlords please avoid. Dealt with Robert Beson who was rude, unprofessional and incompetent. Never replies and landlord had to be contacted directly to deal with issues. AVOID! Quick click on the google profiles shows the 5 star reviews to be fake

Usually when you visit a seller or a service business you expect those offerings to be to scratch. The property game is a tricky one and some will oppose my view on this.
I just can’t understand why most properties are gone, weeks, sometimes months ago and they are still being listed; yes I understand they wish for bragging rights to say they sold X property, but it really is not helpful and defeats purpose of my website visit and time...

I made a booking for a short let in February via HomeAway and the service was amazing! Until COVID happened... I thought I had some security because this booking is managed by Next Property but it has been the opposite. My booking was for March 24 - 31, 2020 pretty much the week the COVID imploded in the UK , my flights were cancelled and it was impossible for me to get there and when I tried to contact to cancel and get refunded as per HomeAway recommendations, Next Property completely stopped communicating. It's been 3 months and I haven't received any response or even a refund for damage deposits etc. It is certainly not what I expected from an established property management and real estate firm.

Not a good experience charged an administration fee at the start of the rental, which was illegal, never returned the money then two months for the return of the deposit after the rental, after numerous phone calls very poor service
