In my experience the emergency plumbing service is a con. They took more money from my account than they stated over the phone and never turned up for the job. My bank will now be dealing with this. AVOID.
Edited to add I finally managed to get hold of someone in the office 2 days later and got a refund. There was however no apology that the emergency plumber didn't turn up on the Saturday evening and no explanation why I wasn't contacted; just that there had been no one in the office.
