Brilliant service! Came out to sort our problem within a few hours, a genuinely nice person and knowledgeable in his trade, would highly recommend and use his services again!

Delayed review following visit on 03-02-21 I had been let down by so many of the 'no job too small' plumbers in the past so put a post on nextdoor [neighbour] (the app) and Alex happen to comment stating that he could pop round the following day. I was extremely pessimistic about this as this has happened several times before where a plumber/electrician/fencer/carpet fitter 'pops round' and never returns to complete the work. Alex, however, turned up on time and with all the items he may need based on the (really bad) description I gave of what needed doing. He was COVID-conscious and wore a mask and also removed his footwear without being asked and was professional from the start. We discussed the issues we were having and he performed a full diagnostic/investigation in to our boiler concerns. We believed the issue to be due to a pump fault (based on me being a professional Googler I was qualified to say this :-P) He highlighted that the pump was ok and that it may be that the radiators needed balancing - I highlighted that the previous Plumber had done this and he didn't do the whole 'well just because they say they're a plumber...' thing and had a walk around the house adjusting the radiators. We also discussed having an additional radiator installed which we managed to talk through and didn't go ahead with - partly because of budget (although Alex was not expensive) and that the room had now started to heat up for the first time since October! It appeared that there was a fault in the boiler (something to do with the pressure) and Alex remedied this without any back and forth for parts or complications. It has now been nearly 2 weeks since the visit and the radiators have been kicking out heat consistently since the visit. We also asked - on the fly - if he would be able to install an outside tap as we know full well that asking a plumber round just for this would never amount to anything. Without any hesitation he asked where and gave a quote for the work. Tap install while the boiler and radiators where cooling down for the boiler service. Alex performed a Central Heating Service, radiator balancing, diagnosis of heating issues and installed an outside tap all within 3 hours the day after I requested a plumber. I cannot praise Alex enough for his speedy turnaround and professionalism.

Back boiler to combi conversions , professional service , very pleased

Known the business owner from the gym for years, so decided to contact him when my usual heating engineer let me down. Alex gave me a basic quote of the costs on the phone. Came out on time on the agreed day last week and texted to let me know he was on the way. Fixed the ten year old boiler in a couple of hours and provided the new parts needed. Emailed me a receipt and guaranteed the work. Still had a minor problem with the old boiler which was resolved by Alex keeping in touch via text and Facebook. He came out today to look at the ongoing minor problem at no extra cost and so far, it seems to have been fixed. Excellent service by a very skilled tradesman, who I count as a good gym mate and who will be mine and my family's plumber and heating engineer for the foreseeable future from now on. Highly recommended

I highly recommend ACM because I'm very happy with the work carried out. They are professional, clean & tidy, prompt and have great communication. I won't hesitate to use them again.
