The people answering the phone are extremely helpful. The best part of the experience. The lower rating is partially because of the 1 hour waiting even though I had an appointment. However, it's mostly because during the panoramic x-ray the whole process was disorganized. The operator seemed rushed and was a tad pushy with instructions that were not feasible. Even though the referral form I submitted had clear guidelines regarding why we needed the x-ray, the operator had no idea what they were and only asked me after we did the x-ray so I had to get another one which is double the radiation, of course. In the end, I asked them to also send the pictures to me and all my contact details were missing from the file, even though I provided them twice in advance. So, even though the job was done, it was kind of a mess.

Welcomed by the radiologist who escorted me to the imaging room, where I signed the relevant forms. She clearly outlined the procedure and kept me informed at each stage. Appointment was exactly on time and very professional.

Very efficient and professional. Turned up just a few minutes before appointment time and asked to wait at front door. Technician came to get me and took me straight through to scanning room. Scan took just a few minutes, again handled very professionally and safely and I was in and out within 10 minutes. Not inexpensive but certainly efficient!

First rate service once I got into the imaging room, but signage to the venue. was poor and confusing. I was slightly late due to 4-way traffic control, and then my arrival was not registered correctly to inform staff I was there.

Had to go to Oxford branch for panoramic dental X-ray.Friendly professional staff with excellent Covid procedure.Very easy to find,no parking onsite but found a space very easily in surrounding streets and surprisingly for Oxford free for 2 hours.

Finding the place was a little tricky due to the postcode taking me to the primary school first, but it wasn’t too difficult to find in the end.

Scan itself was fine. Unfortunately the staff answering the phones is ineffective and condescending. Rather unacceptable for a receptionist to lecture a customer on how to open a file, especially considering they failed to send my medical records to the correct email address, sharing my information with a random person. Unprofessional.

It took a couple of laps of the block to locate, but once I'd arrived, the experience was brilliant. Well signposted fom car park to building, greeted politiely and with caution and standard COVID screening questions, supplied with a brand new facemask and invited to sanitise. I waited for less than a minute in the waiting area before I was welcomed and ushered into the xray department. My nurse/machine operator was extremely polite and professional and my photos were completed within 5 minutes.

The signage is confusing. The route to the exit was not marked. I had to ask. The toilet plumbing needs sorting and the water tap was stuck running. The car park was Ok.
The imaging machine was brilliant, comfortable and very modern the way it wizzed about. The radiologist was great and didn’t give up when the first images didn’t work.

Visited here for a CT scan.COVID-19 measures in place.Changing masks on entry, Temperature check, sanitiser. Receptionist was rude to my husband as he stood behind me.He explained he was my carer and he could accompany me as per the written guidelines on our paperwork.She looked him up and down and said ‘You’re her carer?’ In apparent disbelief.He said yes and she called someone on the phone and said “they have called ahead and were told he could assist me.”
No one had mentioned this at all so I am not sure where she got that assumption.By this point I was mortified as this was a loud conversation with other people seated in various departments.We were finally allowed to go, the other lady who was taking temps, mask changing etc was lovely and guided us to where we needed to go. Chloe was lovely, patient and obviously highly skilled in what she did. Very friendly and helpful.
Apart from reception everyone else was lovely.
It’s not nice to be judged on appearance, people can be disabled in many ways. I have ME/CFS, Rheumatoid arthritis, a degenerative Spine and a heart condition causing falls at least 3 times a day at present.If it wasn’t for my husband I would be unable to leave home.
Hopefully I will never have to return!

Staff polite but the person who scans could do better on the time keeping front. Arriving for work five minutes after my appointment time, and not being ready for another ten minutes is poor, but would have been forgotten if accompanied with an apology.
Update: needed to return for the scan to be completed again as the first scan was not what my dentist required. This was annoying as it involves taking more time off work etc. This is not a totally bad review as the person conducting the scan this time was very friendly, efficient and was running on time.

Took 3 separate attempts by my dentist to obtain an appointment for a scan in preparation for dental implants over a three - four week period.( delaying treatment in the meantime of course)
Staff and facilities at Nottingham were outwardly pleasant and professional enough. However, 3 attempts at a scan were needed to produce a useable result. Twice the rotating machinery caught the back of my head!
Even then my dentist advised that although the result gave him the information he required it nevertheless was substandard to scans he had received previously in that they were not as sharp/ focussed as he would expect.

Arrived 30 minutes early. Was kindly asked to remain in my car until my appointment for Covid security purposes. When I registered with reception was clearly directed to the waiting area and quickly being collected by Chloe. She was incredibly efficient explaining each step in the process. Soon i was on my way home mission accomplished and very satisfied
Today on me latest visit I arrived just in tome and I was seated on the chair in minutes. The process was perfect and I was out very quickly. Was very impressed by the equipment and professional standards
One thing I regret and it is my fault. I completed the online forms but forgot to write down the password so i cant follow the link to see the images. Is it possible to reset my password please
