Lauren is a wonderful Psychosexual Therapist and Couples Counsellor who I have known and trusted for many years. She is dedicated to her work and is always thoughtful and mindful of her clients. I have no hesitation recommending her to people.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Lauren had two couples sessions with me and my partner. She asked for individual sessions to get to know us in a one to one. Lauren got the time wrong for my session. I chalked this up to a one time mistake. I’d paid for this session in advance. Lauren asked to reschedule the session. She mistook the time AGAIN but me managed to have the call. She then asked me to pay for the second session, even though the first session was paid for and was missed because of her being unorganised. When I refused as I’d already paid she said she didn’t want to work with my partner and I moving forward. This was after four sessions during a traumatic time in our relationship. Unprofessional, unorganised and a non empathetic therapist. Duty of care, pfffffffft

Lauren worked as a sex and relationship therapist at our GP practice in Brighton for 18 months. During that time she helped dozens of patients with a wide range of issues. Without exception the feedback we received from patients was hugely positive and she unlocked issues which many had been suffering with for years. Patients described her as calm, attentive, supportive, but not afraid to challenge where needed. Her integrity, empathy and tactful exploration of sensitive issues meant many were able to open up about sex and relationship problems they had struggled to address. She worked with patients (both individually or in couples) using a wide range of therapeutic techniques to establish happier, healthier, more fulfilling sexual relationships and renewed confident sexuality. I have no reservations at all in recommending her as a therapist in this area given what I have heard from patients in response to her work with them.
