Was charged £10 to fill a form in for my housing after cancer diagnosis. The made me drive there to pay it in cash only. I paid and they didn't even bother returning the form, they just took the cash!

I don’t usually take time out to write google reviews but i really feel it’s warranted for the practice especially after seeing that only people who are unhappy tend to leave reviews My children have been looked after at this practice for several years and We have always received great patient care . Dr Quentin has always treated us with utmost respect and kindness and despite working in a difficult system I’ve always felt she aims to do the best for her patients for which I am utterly grateful. She has always been warm towards my son and I ,every time we have met for which I am always grateful. The practice has also improved exceptionally in its protocols since it’s changed hands and phone calls are returned and follow ups no longer need chasing but are followed through efficiently Dr Hodgere and Nilanthie provide holistic patient centred care which is very reassuring . I have been particularly grateful for the prompt advice and support I have received for my children from Dr Hodgere during this Pandemic....it has really exceeded my expectations and based on that alone I would recommend the practice to anyone . Questions ,concerns and blood results have been followed up diligently and given the work pressures facing the NHS right now ,that’s no small feat ! I am exceptionally grateful to have this level of care delivered to my children as I understand it’s not an easy job to be in. I thank you all and I thank the wonderful receptionists who despite the numerous phone calls always aim to help and deal with my concerns very professionally.

I have been registered at this surgery for 26years. I am extremely disappointed because i feel like the doctors, nurses and the receptionists are all not doing their jobs properly. I have had a underlining health issue since the beginning of lockdown, march2020. The doctors and nurses found it very difficult to find out what it was via a test because it wasn't done properly by them. I was referred to a specialist and was seen a week ago and even they were surprised at how long i have had this issue for and it hadn't been cured, they even said that this could cause me further health problems considering how long i have had this issue for. When the doctor at beechdale surgery finally done the test right and detected what the issue was they prescribed me with medication which had really bad side affects, i told them i wasn't going to take them after paying for and reading the side affects. They didn't offer me a alternative so how would i get better?! I didn't think myself to request one at the time but it was their job to prescribe/offer a alternative. I carried on with this health issue i had and i also gave up ringing the doctors for help. I felt like they were not helping me at all, i felt like i was just neglected. On one occasion during this time i did ring the surgery and made a complaint to the owner/mainndoctor about how i felt. I am just so disappointed with these professionals as i feel like they need to seriously do their jobs properly. I feel like the specialist i have been referred to will finally cure me after all of this stress. Another complaint i have in regards to the receptionist. I rang the doctor for a different issue i have and he said the receptionist will call me to arrange for a bloodtest. It has now been a week since my call with the doctor and i still have not received any call from the receptionist. So i had to call them myself today to arrange for a bloodtest. I also asked why i didn't receive a call and the lady said i was on the list. A week later is a long time to be on a list and still not be called back to arrange for a test.

Awful, simply awful, rude receptionists. It never changes. Every time I go there, for whatever reason, these receptionists look down their noses at me like something on the soles of their shoes! Disgusting, and it's always the same. I'm not sure who they think they are, but I can assure them they are administration portals that we have to pass through to get to see a Healthcare professional, and nothing more. They would do well to remember that. If I owned the practice, there would be a few more people looking on the Jobsite pages.

Wasted 20 mins to get through on the phone to then be told to post my repeat prescription through the post box for it to be Sat there for 24 hours then another 48 + hours for Doctor to sign very poor service no wonder people are leaving this doctors always very bad service and don't keep you informed about anything

The worst gp ive been with so far. Never ever have they been on time always half hour or hour late it's ridiculous. The reception girls do nothing but laugh and talk even when phone rings they dont care or think about picking up.

waste of time best get another doctor over the year the quality of service has gone down the drain rang them in the morning to get a emergence appointment staff said someone will get back to you I phoned them up number of time did not get a answer I had to come down personally at 5.30pm to get a straight answer they were to busy chatting

Well it takes 2 weeks now to see a doctor never used to, my son as Asthma and it takes 2 weeks now to see a nurse never used 2, I went to make appointment and the young girl on the reception asked what I need to see the doctor for and everyone else can hear what you say nothing is private, and when I did tell her what it was for she even ask a nurse and then a doctor who I have never met before they asked him and he said no it's ok and sent me away, and even now I am still not well . My sugar levels are low and no one wants to see you

Staff are rude. Difficult to get appointments. Service is old fashioned, with no automated telephone system as other Nottingham GP surgeries, Nurses often whisper the name down the corridor regardless of hard of hearing patients with disabilities. Nurses has misdiagnosed too, a number of times a second opinion was required. I have reported all of these and they are still happening. Nurse laughed at me too when I put on weight, she was overweight herself, staff need training urgently on communication!

This Surgery is the worst i HAVE seen Staff is verry rude at receootiin Each appt takes 6 weeks to get gp appt. Dr Bracknell is owner. And he treats patient as dictators. Changing soon to other surgery. Opened in small shop. Rather than putting patient to ease. From receptionist to Dr. Create problems for patient amd judge them. If u take revenge from someone Recommend Beechdale surgery Poor service. Rude staff. And all act slaves of Dr. Bracknell. Filed legal complaint alredy.

My sons in a wheelchair he had 2 cancelled appointments and the 3rd appointment at 8am. Got to the doctor and it wasn’t even an appointment. Dr very rude and patronising. I will be changing doctors ASAP Still never got to see a doctor today total shambles. This surgery is getting worse. Oh and another thing dr ? on the phone to patients discussing private matters very loudly. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL We all put our lives in doctors hands and they can’t even seem to get the staff to arrange appointments or speak to their patients with respect ????

patronising and racist receptionists. they never give an appointment. the only thing they do is call you back advising you. I think the government has told the beech dale surgery to avoid giving appointments to ethnic minorities
