Beautiful green spot among council houses, busy roads and concrete jungles. Charming, refreshing and calming. It also has a lovely street market on weekends

I made the mistake of ordering food from Turo Turo Filipino BBQ today.
I watched the grill chef repeatably put chunks of raw chicken on a grill with his dirty, broken gloves then simply go back to making wraps, cutting cooked chicken with the same gloves dripping in raw chicken juices. Yuck.
Being a busy market stall does not excuse such poor kitchen standards.

Friendly market that runs every Sunday until 4 PM. Expect a selection of food stalls that ranges from burgers to Northen Thai food. They also have fresh fruit and vegetable and deli stalls. A pretty small market but definitely worth a visit once in a while as it is situated in one of the most beautiful parks in London.

Victoria Park is amazing!!! Myself and my family went there to buy a Christmas tree. Then we went to the food market that is open on a Sunday and had something to eat - amazing!!!

A nice selection of stalls offering all kinds of street food and produce. A lot of the food is a bit overpriced and the place has a very hipster vibe overall, but nice for a little stroll on a Saturday.

I visited with my girlfriend and we both loved the market. I had Sri-Lankan kottu and and she had japanese gyoza dumplings. Both of them were delicious! We could not try everything we wanted to but we are definitely gonna come back.
