I booked my bike in a week prior to the date and despite covid having a drastic effect on the flow of logistics, all parts were readily available in time for a full service on my bike.???? As the battery was dead, they offered a collection service with all the necessary ramps and ratchet straps to safely secure the bike through transportation.???????? They treated my bike with much care and attention in preparation for an MOT to follow, which is also done on site/next door. They are a very knowledgeable group of guys covering different age groups and expertise, from classic cruisers to modern racers and were welcoming and happy to let me pick their brains (I'm like an inquisitive kid "what's that? What's this for"????). After passing the MOT, they gave me some sound advice of things to keep an eye on and even foam washed my bike, so it was sent back with love ????. The only thing they didn't do was gift wrap the bike ???? But I'm sure they could of if I asked!? ???????? I highly recommend this garage. Thanks guys! Much respect! ????????????

Wonder woman
Just wanna say how good and helpful these guys are. My bike is a Chinese make (lexmoto) wich not much garages will take. But these guys did! They done a good job with my moped & was honest also they didn’t take to long wich most garages do with mopeds & it was up and running again in no time 5* service from me and will continue to use these guys also prices are reasonable ????????????????

The team did a great job on my bike. It needed a lot of work doing. Very professional and good value for money. The 1 star reviews on here do not reflect my experience. I highly recommend.

After reading some of the reviews i thought i'll pay smoke city a visit for an estimate on servicing my 2015 honda cbr 500. I was so glad i didn't actually ride in there as has i approached the mechanic i couldn't believe the over whelming smell of cannabis oozing from him (clearly just been smoking) who was working on a small bike. I have no issue with people's recreational past times but i wouldn't let some loose on my machine while under the influance of drugs. My quest continues to find a reasonable priced garage.

This shop overcharges, tries to change parts which don't changing and do no respect your motorbike -Not recommended, even if you are in a tight spot, just push your bike further! I had a snapped rear tyre valve on my Suzuki 600 Bandit so the rescue van (Green Flag) took me to Smoke City Cycles as it was the shop the nearest at the time. I quickly checked the reviews before being taken there and knew I was going to be taken for a ride... So this review is in line with others really. I was charged £40 for the rear wheel valve replacement - They didn't even balance the wheel. Just popped a new valve in. Other shops charge £20 max for (FWR charges £15 for wheel balancing and a new angled valve) so I was taken for a good ride but hey, nothing you can do when you are cornered by a rogue trader. They even tried to tell me that my rear pads were good to change and that they could do it. My rear pads were less than 2,000 miles old so nowhere near their end of life. Last point - they are not respectful of your motorbike. When the "mechanic" got the bike out of the garage, he was revving it like it was MotoGP. Very inconsiderate on a cold engine. Also surprised that the neighbours have not filed in noise complaints with such behaviour.

It took weeks to "fix" my bike (too busy with other bikes, parts did not arrive on time, etc.) and I still had the same problem after that. Fed up, I changed garage who had time to look at it straight away, they found the problem and fixed it after spending a fraction of the labour time Smoke Cycle spent on it.

Needed to get out of trouble to rivet a new chain, pushed my bike to Smoke City Cycles and they couldn't have been more helpful. I offered to pay them for the use of their tools and time but the owner refused. Top bloke!

Seems nice people but the lack of tools in their garage means they are strugling even with simple tasks. It took them 5 hours to rivet new chain..I know it happens but still. I'll see how long my new chain lasts after fitting. Possibly will go to other garage to check the work done. Fingers crossed UPDATE: DON'T USE THEM!!! THEY GAVE BACK MY MOTORCYCLE IN DANGEROUS STATE!! REAR AXLE WAS LOOSE SO I COULD UNDO THE BOLTS WITH BARE HANDS!!! ALSO REAR WHEEL WAS MISALIGNED, GEAR SELECTOR WAS SET TO COMPLETELY WRONG POSITION. DANGEROUS CRIMINAL ACTS HERE!!!!
