The staff member who served me sold me the most expensive car battery saying it had to be this particular one. On top of that there was a £25 fitting fee £150 for a battery and fitting very expensive! He also wore his mask under his mouth most of the time and social distancing was not evident. If I hadn’t been desperate I would have shopped elsewhere.

Great service when picking up my daughter’s new bike. The assistant checked the wheels were tight enough, gave me advice on adjusting the seat and even threw in a free gift bag!

After waiting over a month on a pre-order list for Evans Cycles they told me on Saturday they weren't supplying the bike for another 2months if at all! Went on Halfords site Sat morning and found some new stock for an XL bike (I'm 6ft5in), purchased it and was informed I should be able to collect by the next Friday 4pm...text me today (Tues) and went and collected. Staff were very happy to help as soon as I walked in and when collected they offered to carry to my car without me asking. Wish I had looked here first so I could have used my bike with the kids on my holiday. All in all I'm really happy, bike is what I wanted, staff were friendly and all sorted in under 3 days (one of which was Sunday). BRILLIANT

I visited Halfords Uckfield yesterday as I needed some new windscreen wipers for my very old Discovery.
I was greeted by Stephen who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Due to the age of my car I had a difficult fitting . Stephen found a set and demonstrated and explained how to fit them, with their particular quirks.
I would definitely recommend Stephen to anyone who visits the store. Good old style service such a pleasure.

My sister and I both wanted a battery for our key fobs, they had the batteries but then wanted £5 each to insert the batteries in the 2 key fobs, that is disgraceful 5 bloody pound ???? to put in a battery, after the battery was £5 as well, = £10 each ????????aftwards we discovered the batteries are £1.46 each, free delivery, on Amazon and the same make, Energizer. Get them on Amazon and do it yourself it's much easier than you think ????????

I ordered a bike today from Uckfield Halfords on the 17/04/2020, was told it would be ready by Monday 20/04/2020, received a phone call a few hours later to say my bike was ready. I was overjoyed how quickly it was built and ready for me to collect. When I picked the bike up the sales advisor Steve was very helpful and his customer service is second to none. All of the staff were extremely helpful and also given the current circumstances maintained their social distancing at the same time. Fantastic job, thank you very much, I love my new bike!

Great staff members. Nothing was too much trouble for them. One of the items that I wanted to collect was faulty. Not a problem they sourced another one from the store room and I went home and happy man. Usually go to tunbridgeable Wells halfords which is twice the journey in milage.will now use uckfield store after such a great outcome. Well done halfords staff you were magnificent .

When I picked up my bike after repairs one of the pedals had not been tightened properly and this caused an accident while riding it. I returned the bike on Monday and have heard nothing from them since. I spoke to them to day and the staff member (Sasha) was rude to me. Terrible customer service given my previous experiences were ok.

I checked availability of wiper blades by telephone. They gave me options as to Bosch or cheaper Halfords blades (I chose the Bosch). I drove there within half an hour and was quickly and efficiently served in a friendly and cheerful manner. I opted to have the blades fitted by Halfords and again they were first class and quick. I have nothing to fault them on during this transaction and am happy to recommend.
