Steve approached me as I was trying to locate the 'fuel system cleaner' area and asked if I needed assistance, which I appreciated. I explained the reason for my visit whereupon we went to the relevant part of the store and Steve provided a full and detailed explanation of what would be the best product for me to purchase once I had described the problem with my car to him. Courteous, informative and patient I am grateful to Steve for his advice and the product recommended has certainly helped improve the low revs running of my car.

Took my bike for a free check, when I picked up the staff member spent over 20 minutes answering my questions and didn’t need to sell me anything. He gave his time and expert advice. I then booked one of my bikes in for a full service, which he didn’t sell to me but I decided that in the long term it would be helpful. Every time I visit this store they are always friendly and helpful

My bicycle needed repairs, Elliot & Rich were great and really helpful. They talked through the process with me and what will happen. I had phone calls with updates on what my bike required and their knowledge, professionalism and customer service was spot on and both are an asset to Halfords. My bike was serviced and repaired in a timely manner and a phone call was made to tell me it was ready for collection. Brilliant service and one happy customer, I would highly recommend this branch for bicycle repairs, servicing and parts.

Car had MOT and a lamp had failed, needed one quick. At 8 prompt, the Uckfield store was already open, I was able to pop it, get the lamp and get the car off quickly. No waiting, no problems. You can’t do that online!

I had a really good shopping experience, whilst choosing and buying a child’s car seat. I was served within less than 3mins by a very knowledgeable staff member, Steve. Really helpful explaining the different kinds of seats for different age groups, size and weight. A good choice of price range and different features. The one I chose was in stock, and carried out to my car. I was offered a fitting demonstration. All staff were very polite, cheerful, helpful and efficient.

Just great service, I called on to Adams team again today, just a puncture, very kindly replaced the inner tube on my request and also they replaced the rear tyre, again upon my request. My daughter who rode the bike down, was over the moon thinking she was going to be without her beloved Frog bike for some time. This is the second time I have used the team at this branch and I would recommend without hesitation if you want great service combined with actual cyclists knowledge.

Earlier in the week bought a replacement dipped headlight bulb. Thought easy peasy, this won't take long to fix. After wasting a considerable amount of time, gave up! Info was great but service was slow due t lack of staff. Prices for certain things like polish and cleaning products were good but accessories like wiper blades too expensive so bought them elsewhere. But will still use Halfords for the competitive priced products.

Went to purchase an oil filter for my grand daughters' car. Fiat 500, nothing special. To my amazement, they only seemed to stock motorcycle oil filters. Spoke to an assistant, they had some filters behind the spares counter and thankfully, he found one. Halfords used to stock rows of oil filters, air filters, spark plugs etc., but the racks are now stocked with bicycle bits and motor bike bits. Car spares are, apparently, obtained to order. If you order a.m. they come to store p.m. but that's no help if you want something quick, probably a wasted journey. Just to check I looked on the website when I got home and that said if I ordered the oil filter now, it would be available anytime in 7 days time?? What on earth is happening Halfords?

I was greeted immediately by Steve who looked up which kind I needed and told me the price of each make - he then went to the shelf and bought back the ones I needed.
