I bought a pair of Hunter wellies and before having them for 12 months they became severely damaged. Hunter have not been very helpful in my request to report the product as faulty (the way in which they've broken suggests a weakness in the way the product has been made with splits at the top of the boot). Really disappointing.

I bought 2 pairs of slides online as I didn’t know which size to buy. Neither were good so I returned both in 1 packaged at the same time. I have been refunded for one pair but not the other. After 6 weeks of trying to get the outstanding refund, Hunter no longer reply to emails. I have now had to involve credit card company. I feel like they have stolen my money and am utterly astounded at their customer service or lack of for such an established company!

I don’t think they deserve even one star. I paid for two pairs of socks in November 2020. They sent one pair and I have been trying to get the second pair sent ever since. Their customer service is incompetent and incapable of solving this problem.

Didn’t even receive my product! After several unanswered calls and email exchanges with both Hunter and the delivery company, my boots never arrived at my doorstep. The delivery company stated they came by my home 2 different moments and they didn’t (I was there!), and without my permission they took my boots to a pick-up point. The pick-up point states that they never had my boots! This experience was absolutely ridiculous and I’m very disappointed with the brand. There was no other solution offered. I will not be ordering with them again. They refused to publish my review on their website stating that it did not go along with their "website rules."

Top tip - If you are thinking about buying Hunter wellies - don't. I have had two pairs of hunter wellies in the last 2 years. The first pair (circa £120) didn't feel especially well made, average quality workmanship and materials and unsurprisingly lasted just 18months.The last were a £170 pair I received as a gift from my father. They looked great at first, but have already started to fall apart in less than a year, and I only wear them to walk the dog. Not especially comfortable either. I suspect Hunter had to move their manufacturing to Asia to keep costs down, and then they have dumbed down the quality and workmanship to maximise their margins. A real shame as they were once a quality brand, but now you are being ripped off because you're just paying for the name. To have HUNTER on your wellies so people know they are expensive. Problem is they now say to people EXPENSIVE AND RUBBISH. Avoid disappointment by avoiding this brand.

Awful awful experience with this company, no customer service and un helpful customer support staff. Ordered for next day delivery and 4 days later still waiting...on phoning up they would not speak to me as I was not the person on the delivery address (It was a birthday gift) I had to call the person who the gift was for and ask them to liaise with the customer support EVEN THOUGH I ordered through my account online!!! unbelievable, should be ashamed of yourselves after spending over £200 on an order. CEO Vincent Wauters has a lot to answer for. Disgusted. STAY CLEAR AT ALL COSTS

I have recently bought a jacket from their online website Hunter. I am now trying to return it as it doesn’t fit, the delivery did not have a return label enclosed. I am repeatedly ringing and emailing their customer service department to find out where to return the item with no response. I am requesting a collect + label as it states on the website we can return items via that system. At the moment I don’t even have a return address let alone a free label. The clock is also ticking as I have 30 days from the delivery date to return the item. Can anyone help? Hunter are just not replying at all

What happened to them? Hunter used to be a name for quality and the last pair were just rubbish. Both buckles fell off in a week and one foot leaks after about twenty hours of wear. I heard they moved the manufacturing to China which would explain a lot. Overpriced tat hardly fit for purpose. Avoid!

Very poor quality - boots have lasted little over a year and they are perishing and cracking. Customer service absolutely appalling - not interested in helping at all. You are simply paying for the name. I advise everyone to stay well away from these massively overpriced, not fit for purpose wellingtons.

Awful experience using Hunter Boots. I purchased some boots online for my mum. I paid extra for a next day pre12 delivery on the 31st October. My mum called me at 12.15 to advise the boots haven’t arrived. I checked the tracking and surprise surprise the boots happened to be signed for by the name of my mum. This was obviously incorrect. I called Hunter Boots Customer Service and spoke to Havier who originally advised the boots had not even been dispatched and would arrived Friday instead and that he would refund me the £9 extra cost for the delivery. Friday arrived - still no boots. I called again, was told they’d be delivered Monday and if not I should call back for an update. Monday arrived, still no boots. I contacted DPD myself for an update, they advised the driver arrived at my parents house to make the delivery but never went further than the roadside. I contacted and told Hunter Boots who spoke with DPD and advised they were signed and delivered. THEY WERENT. After a lot of going back and forth with Hunter Boots, they then put in a signature query with DPD. I still haven’t had a response about this. I contacted DPD myself and went to the top, the escalation team for the director of customer relations. They responded immediately, the parcel was delivered to the wrong address this whole time ! I have passed on this information to Hunter Boots and still have not heard back regarding a refund. They take over 2 days to respond to an email and cannot help on the phone. USELESS COMPANY. Still waiting for a refund !!!!!!

The worst customer service I ever seen in the UK. They received my refund parcel but refused to refund me. It is £100! That's not a small amount of money. I am calling them and sending email to them to resolve this problem. But there has been no progress. Never buy anything here!

Sehr schade !
