Back in my pre-Glance days, my wife would have to go in and help me select my frames. With Glance, there is no reason for her make any decisions, as Lisa has always found the perfect frames.

Wow. Great store, fantastic selection and even better service. Lisa and Bob come across like generous and caring hosts when you come into their shop. They take the time to understand what matters to you and easily and gently make recommendations and offer suggestions for frames, while explaining the pros and cons of the different lens options available.
Their prices run the gamut from affordable on up and yet all of the glasses are carefully curated by Lisa to reflect the Glance aesthetic of both quality and style across all of the price points.
Without any pressure I was led to a variety of options that were so good, I had to choose two pairs.
Highly recommended. If you haven't been and you are in the market for glasses, you owe it to yourself to see the difference.

Three pairs of glasses from this shop over the past 5 years. Will go back for a fourth! Glance has convinced me that they are a fashion accessory! Can't have too many; I even travel around the world with 3 pairs, these days. The staff are wonderful; brands are top notch. Great place to go!

We had an excellent experience at this shop. The owners took time to find two perfect frames for what had been a difficult prescription for other shops. The range of styles on hand has something for everyone. Creature comforts keep the experience enjoyable for the shopper and their guests.

Great selection of modern eyeglasses and great service for higher prices. BUT very, very SLOW to get eyeglasses (it's now been 2 weeks). When I called to ask when I could pick up my glasses I was told they didn't know if my glasses were ready/done yet (would need to check with Salem store) and then it would be 10 ADDITIONAL business days needed for the clip-on sunglasses to be made. I understood when I ordered it would be 10 business days until I got the glasses (with clip-ons). Frustrating.

Love Glance! The opticians take the time to help select the right frame for your glasses needs. I shopped around at several other stores and became very overwhelmed. No one spent as much time finding the right frame for ME. I learned it's more than a good color. It's eye placement in the frames, my specific prescription, the bridge (I have a narrow one, my old glasses slip down my nose and the top of the frame is in front of my eye, hmmmm. that makes it difficult to see...) and they have quality lenses that help me SEE clearly with comfort and style! Glance has really cool, well made, European eyewear. A good pair of glasses, right for the individual, can be like a makeover! Who doesn't want to take a few years off?

I've worn glasses for 30+ yrs now; Glance found me the best frames (and gave the best service) I've ever had. My Mykita's were spendy but I've had them for 4 years and I still get compliments from strangers. Totally worth the money.
This is THE place to come if you want quality frames but could use some guidance. I've never used a personal shopper, but I imagine this is what that feels like.

I recently was informed that I could no longer wear contact lenses and would have to go to glasses full time. With three corrections needed I was concerned that my glasses would be quite thick and unattractive. I went to the experts at Glance Optics and Eyewear and was exceptionally pleased. They fitted me into very stylish and hip frames with all the new lens technology making my lenses slim, trim and perfectly fitting. I highly recommend Glance Optical for all your eyewear needs. Their staff is knowledgable, patient, and up to date on eyewear and all the modern advances. They have a great selection of frames to fit any style.
