I went into the shop the other day to ask a few questions about getting to riding a motorcycle in London. I spoke to Dan and he was very helpful in helping understand the steps! I ended up buying a brand new Yamaha N-Max with all the gear! I am really really happy with my whole experience!

I had Jason Best as an instructor for both MOD 1 and MOD 2, plus one day MOD 2 training. He made me feel confident in my riding ability, gave constructive feedback and prepared me extremely well for the examinations. Thanks to him and the school, I've passed my Category A Motorbike License. It should be noted that I had never ridden a 750cc motorbike before my first lesson with these guys. Quick, reliable and safe. Thanks again!

Great experience and a really fun day. Morning of practice on the car park, various drills and getting to know the bike and then out for the road driving. A daunting experience on the road but our instructor was calm and assured. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome team doing the training. I did all my training with them from MBT to Mod 2. Professional, diligent, patient. Will do everything in their power to make you ready for your test. I trained with most of the guys at some point and not a single bad egg. Their banter Could do with some work though...

The guys are friendly, which helps. They seem to know their business inside out, which is great. But even more important perhaps, at least to me, they clearly understand their customer's needs, regardless of the economic side of the trade. The purchase went very smoothly. I haven't perceived the same attention to my needs in other shops in town. Price-wise, as one would expect, they are competitive but not cheap. Shop has a good range of bikes and is very easy to access. Good experience from the beginning to the end. AP

I needed a 90/90-21 Inner tube and the guy on the shop doesn't know nothing about bikes parts and he relies on the mechanic to ask what he doesn't know, so when you call ask first " is your mechanic in". The all Motoden structure are in support of this kind of working system. I was advised by him to travel to another Motoden Honda shop because I have a Honda to by the same inner tube because he did know what he had in stock would have been the right part for me. I took me 30s to find on Google that the inner tube he had in stock was the right one. My advise is Motoden you are better off having Google behind a Shop doing your sales. .... and yes I am very frustrated with your services!

Great customer service experience. I have been getting my bike serviced and repaired here for 6 years. Michael and the new mechanic, who has recently joined Motoden, are both friendly and approachable . For my last service (16 Nov 2016), the staff went beyond just servicing my bike and returned it to me clean and polished. Very impressed. The current Yamaha Motoden team have also tweaked the tuning and sorted a long standing niggling issue with the bike's clutch that seemed to mystify previous mechanics. (I have previously been told the stiff clutch was unusual but not a real issue.) These two service improvements means that the bike runs better than ever.

Jesse (Manager) has been a star by helping me get my bike repaired, despite the best attempts of the insurance company to hold up payment to Motoden to release my bike to me. Jesse put his neck on the line by agreeing to cover the cost of my repairs (£2000) until the insurance paid up & released the bike to me. So if it wasn't for Jesse I'd still be travelling by the nightmarish tube to work. Thanks Jesse, the bike's been running great too.

I brought my motorbike there for the annual service and to change both tyres. The staff was friendly but I paid a lot of money and they didn't do much. They didn't change the air and oil filter and also they didn't tight the chain or clean it up and lubricate it. I had to do this by myself and bring my motorbike to other garage for this. Also, they changed the front brake pads with some that keep making a noice. I am not satisfied from their service.

Brilliant little local dealer (even though part of a larger group). I purchased my latest bike from the Tottenham branch back in December 2017 as my previous was stolen. The service there was fantastic. Hillel was patient and listened to everything I was looking for. Even though my insurance pay out meant I could have got a more expensive bike, he didn't push for that and instead said for what I needed, the XMAX 125 was more than adequate. At the 600 mile service, I wrongly assumed that was free as to retain the warranty on the bike. Hillel realised I was miffed and instantly reduced the amount. You just don't see high levels of customer service like this around anymore, can't fault him and the team down there at all. The quality of work and care on the bike is second to none. I'm about to drop the bike in for its 3k mile service tomorrow, so will update shortly on how that goes :)

I live in Crouch End and have a Vespa PX I required a new clutch plate and exhaust, so I stopped over at Motoden Yamaha. Chris the in house mechanic is a tech-wizard on bikes and Jess the store manager looked after my bike with kit gloves, the service was exemplary and they had me back on the road in no time. Friendly and professional, they are now my choice of service for my bike and have given me a great after service support as well.

Absolute pleasure to deal with. I had originally gone to another bike mechanic to fix a clicking noise on my yamaha r6. Thought it would be cheaper, until they began telling me it was a major problem and would take 3 hour labour + parts. I Thought, right, let me try this Motoden. Nicest guys.. guy at the counter got the mechanic to take a quick look at the problem.. he told me exactly what it was there and then.. and booked me in same day! took less than an hour to fix.. absolute result :D

Hi everyone! I went to this garage as my scooter was stolen and I wanted to get the quote to get it fixed. I spoke previously with Jesse (manager) and he told me that the key and barrel for sure would need changing (so I got that part from eBay myself). I brought my scooter to them in order to get the quote and I explained my situation to Jesse. He told me that the repair roughly could be from 60 to 160 pounds. I knew the bike wasn't worth it much, and we discussed the options and got to the conclusion that if the repair was more than 60 pounds it was probably not worth it to go ahead. He then offered me to do a test to check if it was worth it to spent the money on it and get it fixed. I specifically asked to Jesse if there was a cost for it, and he didn't tell me at any time that I was going to be charged. Then, I called them to find out about the quote, and I was told that I probably had to spend well over 250 pounds, and that it wasn't worth it to go ahead. They told me to come and collect it at any time. When I got there Jesse, the manager, wasn't there, and to my surprise I was asked to give 39 pounds, for the bike. They didn't even try to fit the key and barrel that I gave them, and the guys over there didn't even know they had that part. I am not happy with the service provided. I completely understand the guys need to get paid for their time working, and I am happy paying for it if I am aware of that. I think if somebody goes to get a quote, and the discussion involves not spending more than 60pounds to get the scooter fixed and there are not prices given for any test, when asked specifically for it! It would be nice that the manager mentions the cost for them to have a look straightway, so we don't get a bad surprise like I did in my case. There shouldn't be assumptions on it, and it's easy to see what that person is worried about, and tell them about the costs is essential for a good and fair costumer service. I have learnt a lesson today! (that's what life is all about!) I don't want to get upset and just writing this review, so they take into consideration that issue in order to improve their costumer service, and also I would like to make everybody aware of it. I am, maybe naive, put it this way, but I don't understand this way of working ;) Have all a lovely weekend! :)

First of all, i have to give Michael Kanareck a 5 star rating for his customer service. I was interested in financing an xmax 125 abs but he did not have any in stock. He made a call and managed to get the bike i wanted in the colour i wanted. He also processed it in time for the 0% finance deal. This all happened in the space of 10 days which I think is lightning fast. Everything was explained fully with regards to finance payments, paperwork, servicing etc, followed by a basic tutorial of my new bike. If you are looking to invest in a new bike, i would recommend paying Michael a visit.

The bike servicing was adequate. I was told to get there for 8:30am and it didn't open till 8:45am. Was told it would take 2 hours to complete. They call to say it'd take another hour and a half extra because another bike came after mine to get a puncture fixed! I can't understand why that bike had priority over mine when I got there first. Not happy.

My experience with motoden has been one MOT and recently one service, which I was very pleased with (they even washed the scooter before delivery). My dealings have been with Michael Kanareck (Service Manager, I think - if not he should be!) and he also helped in getting a good deal on the scooter I bought from their Honda section and I look forward to having it looked after by them in the future.

Update to my previous review. I ended back at the garage more quickly then hoped, having been knocked off my bike. Minor damage only, but this time the parts were ordered quickly, fitted properly, bike safety checked and cleaned really well. All turned around within a few days. So my ratings have moved up to reflect accordingly. Thanks Michael and mechanic. I had pretty poor service last year for my service and MOT and was wary about going back (which is why I have only given 2s as scores). This year started off badly as well, with confusion about service, getting a replacement wheel, how much it was all going to cost, when it would be done etc. But Michael, who had only just joined, did sort it out eventually and provided good service and communication. I hope I can go back again next year, by which time the operation should be humming smoothly, and give 3s all round.
