CD scooters fitted a factory alarm to my Vespa. The service was a shambles from start to finish. I was originally quoted £77 over the phone however they had to order the alarm in. Once it arrived I got a call saying that it was in stock and the cost is over £120. When I asked about the sudden increase the girl at the other end mumbled something about tax! ( I thought that was 20% ). In the end I agreed and booked my Vespa in for the fitting. However when I arrived on the day in question I’m told my bike had not been booked in although if I leave it with them they will do their best. I eventually got a call later to say it had been fitted. I returned to pick up my bike only to be told they cannot synchronise the alarm fob and would have to contact Piaggio and asked me to call in a weeks time, however they did give me the instruction book covered in grease with a mumbled apology. If this wasn’t bad enough on the ride home I was being beeped by cars a fair bit, on investigation I found my indicators were not working. I contacted the shop only to be told that their apprentice had fitted the alarm and was not available to talk to. It was at this point I became somewhat irate and told them I will be back in the morning and I want it sorted.
On arrival I got to speak to the owner who then told me that the apprentice had not fitted the alarm and that I was misinformed (really) he then told me that the indicator relay is not touched when an alarm is fitted and therefore not their fault ( strange how the indicators flash when the alarm is activated then! ) and my bike had only done 283 miles! However, when again, I got irate he said he would take care of it. A couple of hours later I got a call to say my bike was ready for collection. I returned to the shop to find my indicators worked and the new alarm fob was synchronised (must of got hold of Piaggio I guess). However the owner never showed his face again, instead his wife came out and dealt with me.
I will never return here again and would certainly not recommend this shop. I suggest you read the other 1 star reviews also!!!

Very poor quality service and a real attitude problem! I had an intermittent fault with my PX125, which I had bought off them new some three years before. CD Scooters consistently failed to find the fault and, annoying, falsely suggested the issue was down to ME because of the way I was keeping or handling the scooter. I would take the bike away from them, having once again accepted this nonsense, only for it to break down a day or two later. Eventually, I took it to a proper motorbike garage where they quickly found the fault and repaired it. So much for going to a Vespa dealership like CD Scooters. Their customer service also needs a lot of attention, and they are not cheap or particularly pleasant to deal with - "charmless" would sum up their attitude. I missed this year's August Bank Holiday scooter rally in Brighton because they did not do their job properly. Take my advice and don't use CD Scooters!
P.S. Subsequently, the owner of CD Scooters left a one-star review with no comment on my business Google page, even though he had never used my services. Childish and pathetic in its spitefulness!
P.P.S. I have made a report to Google about Mr Falconer's conduct and, if I hear from him again, I will have no option but to complain to Piaggio about his behaviour and the poor service I have received at CD Scooters.

I have been using CD Scooters for over 10 years now because they are very reliable, friendly, give no nonsense advice and they will go out of their way to get matters sorted if need be!!
I would recommend to anyone riding a scooter, they are the best! (Have been to 2 other Scooter places/workshops prior to taking my scooter to CDScooters, no comparison!!)

Been going here for years. Bike serviced today top notch as usual. The little text you get the day before to remind you. Text to confirm it's ready on the day with your bill amount. Kevin knows every nut and bolt on every bike in the shop and more. It's the little things that make the difference. For all things scooter don't waste your time going anywhere else

i went to CD Scooters to purchase a book i had heard much about - the New Testament
For those of you who don’t know, this is God’s second novel after the Old Testament. It’s a marked improvement, in my opinion. He got rid of a lot of his previous angst and scorn, and has really begun to show some of the maturity present in his later works.
That said, there is still vast room for improvement. Plot wise, there isn’t really much suspense, and the story can be incredibly repetitive.
I like the whole Jesus character, but let’s face it, the whole good guy martyr thing has been done before. There was no need to devote so much of the book to that guy.
that said CD Scooters is a very good shop with some brilliant bargains AND now they do MOT's

As a newbie to bikes I had to be baby stepped through the different engines, 2 or 4 strokes and the option of a CBT or not.
Really helpful staff who didn't look down at me for knowing nothing.
Looking at a recommended CBT test so we can get a 125cc instead of a little 50cc - too many hills in Brighton.
Will visit again soon after the CBT.

Can't understand the negative reviews of CD. Certainly doesn't accord with my experiences and I've been a customer for years - never received anything but good, courteous, service. Have always been kept informed of progress of the work and the work has always been completed on time and at the cost quoted. So long as I run a Vespa I will always use them. Incidentally, they worked late on an insurance job on my bike the day they were due to close for Xmas to ensure I had the Vespa over the holiday period.

Great experience from start to finish, purchased Piaggio MP3 to drive on my car license and keep in the Garage of my Motor-Home. They were helpful and furnished me with all the gear including a cracking deal, I will deal with them again and highly recommend them.

Whenever I have a fault with my Piaggio MP3 250 or maybe its due for a service I always go to
CD Scooters. They are always very helpful, very knowledgable, and I feel very reasonable priced.
I live in Horsham so its not that near to me but it is worth the effort to have peace of mind that my scooter has been repaired properly.
I have recommended CD Scooters to friends of mine and they have also been delighted with the service.

Terrible service, my stepson paid £700 for an engine rebuild on a Vespa px125, got it back, still doesn't work. Anyone can supply a new bike but you need skills to be able to fix one and they don't have skills. The customer service may be ok if your buying a new bike, but if you want parts, they can't really be bothered. I was a scooter boy in the 80's and I know what I'm talking about. The scooter they failed to repair is now a project in my shed. I'll fix it, they couldn't!

Just bought my first Vespa (Vespa Primavera 125i) from CD Scooters. There was no pressure to buy and I was felt welcome by Kevin and Vicky. They showed me the scooters I was interested in and I decided on a red Primavera 125i. When I went to pick up the scooter they showed me how everything about the scooter works and took time to talk about it. The PDI was the best I have ever encountered.
