I bought my shiny new vespa from CD Scooters (now Brighton Moto) almost a year ago, but due to lockdowns my motorbike test was delayed and delayed and I only passed (and therefore took home my bike) last week.
Vicki was superb throughout - excellent communications over text and email - and it was well worth the wait.
Highly recommend the team here.

Well a few weeks ago I purchased my motoguzzi from Kevin at CD Scooters. He was very patient and good with advice. He knew I was looking at other bikes aswell and never tried to put me off them or push his product. Yet he was the only dealer who actualy remembered me when I came back in the door after looking at the bike intialy. He allowed me to re-test ride the bike without any qualms and in the end I purchased the guzzi. The purchasing process was very easy and handled by Vicki whom is also very friendly and helpful even if she did have to subject me to the world's most boring video for finance. There where a few snags on the bike after I took receipt of it however the way they dealt with this was most respectable with an immediate apology and corrective action taken. I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks for everything guys! And keep up the good work!

I took my Vespa to CD Scooters because it was not idling properly, after another garage had done some work and claimed to have fixed.
I was really impressed with the service. Kevin identified the source of the problem and did his utmost to find a solution, eventually finding a replacement carburettor. It is now running sweetly again!
I also think they charged me much less for labour than the time they must have spent on it.
Fantastic service and it's just a pity I am selling my scooter!

I only took my Liberty there as I thought at the time it was the only place I could get work done on it. I took it in for an MOT and service, and they said they needed it for three days! then they told me there was water in the oil and needed to change something. I personally don't believe them, and one of the mechanics was very rude. Not to be trusted.

Just had the first 600 mile first service, and couldn't be happier with the Bike, a 2020 Vespa GTS 300.
The Bike runs like a dream, as it should for a new Bike, but what makes the whole experience of ownership for me is the customer service and attention to detail, being a Family owned business, it really matters to them that they get it right first time.

Today i had to delete my 5* review, mainly because: dear Kevin and your staff. You make mistake? You got to admit it & apologise. You are a bike shop from brighton's many (not the only one) so, if i may let you know to come back to earth for a sec ot two. i had trust on you, and you had your chance.
2nd round:
no misunderstanding at all. i was advised by you to change tire in next visit...i showed up. you said you don't have a tire lol!
then you said you will order tire and fit it asap (next couple days). i waited 1 month! no call from you. than i was on the phone with you, and you know only 1 thing was missing. is you to apologise!
by the way, On The Wheel has plenty of Michelin tires. its only 5 minutes away and even i would run and take one for you to fit. Simple Kevin, you got to come back to earth.

my airfilter was removed, spark plugs too. NEVER BEEN CHANGED!!
...and you couldn't find why my engine light was "on".

Four months ago I bought a Piaggio maxi scooter at CD Scooters.
The staff gave me their full attention and the whole transaction turned out to be a pleasant, inspiring experience. I was tentative about switching to scooter riding (especially that day, given that I had nearly a hundred miles of wet and stormy A-roads ahead of me) but Kevin's full account of the bike's character, design and history was confidence-inspiring.
I was shown how to carry out basic maintenance checks and procedures on that particular bike (tires, brakes, oil), and the one idiosyncrasy of the bike was honestly pointed out to me (difficulty disabling traction control).
Between being shown the bike itself to doing all the paperwork we exchanged many words about biking experiences and the biking industry and it became clear that this is a very sincere, family-run business where knowledge-sharing and an outstanding level of consideration for customers is normal practice.
I have ridden the bike in high intensity commuting for three months and it has lived up to expectations. In times when not in danger of pressuring the NHS, I had used the bike every single day, reassured that I could bring it back to CD Scooters in the event of any damage or maintenance needs.

Good reliable services all around with all staff. Kevin is Character and a nice man, And before you leave your bike with them for repair or Maintenance or any mechanical work and ask for a price you get an honest price there and then and the staff keep to their word and honour it once collected. I've bought many spares from here and the staff have been always more than helpful and giving advice on what to do and what not to do or recomendations. Always clean Tidy Shop with lots of lovely Bikes there and very decent and items there are fresh and clean. If you want servicing or repairs go to CD Scooters even if you live Further away it's worth riding down and leaving your bike with them because you know it's in safe reliable hands and you will get quality and service and no that your bike is only getting better when leaving it with CD Scooters. Highly recommended

I also little nervous about making the purchase as I do not know much about scooters. I'd seen a scooter online that I really liked the look of so I went in for a chat.
The lady I spoke to was brilliant and gave me all the info I needed on the scooter's history, how to look after it, where to look for insurance and a decent finance quote. I was also given all the details of the immobiliser etc to make sure my insurance will be the best value and also accurate just in case I need to claim at any point.
I've put down a deposit for collection in a week or so and I'm totally confident of leaving another 5* review when it's mine.

I've had the scooter a couple of weeks now and it has been fantastic. Everything works exactly as it should and it was clearly serviced and set up perfectly before I collected it. The collection process was great and they had even put 'L' plates on for me as I've only done my CBT so far. The V5 arrived after about a week so they are really efficient with that side of things too.
This scooter should keep me going for a while but I'll 100% be going back to CD scooters for servicing and when the time comes to upgrade.

I don't have a scooter, I have a 650cc motorcycle but CD Scooters will service and MOT big bikes too. Had a great service experience there recently and will be attending for an MOT next week, although it mostly sells scooters they have a very nice selection of new Moto Guzzis which they also deal in. There is also a small selection of gear and accessories available inside and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Products are too expensive and pretty much a mug off. The scooter I bought costs £2100 anywhere else and at cd scooter costs £2700.
Customer Service is too poor and the service cost 85 where anywhere else costs 45. Once you bought the vehicle count yourself in trouble, anything happens to the scooter will cost you fortune next day of purchase. They show that they are doing you a fav when they they are mugging you off. I don’t recommend anyone to buy anything from there.
Definitely wouldn’t be giving you a one star for no reason and if you have given my a great service. It is as much as you ask your friends to give you 5 stars to make your business looks great, we customers do the same when we not happy.

Having started out on a 50 from these guys I got my first real motorbike from them today as well.
Service in the shop is great, you are always welcomed and everyone is willing to help. When buying a bike, they are truly honest and give you info on exactly how the bike acts and runs.
What makes this dealer really good is the service once you get your bike. They will always be on hand if you have a question, or need a repair. Servicing is done very quickly, I had my bike back on the same day every time.
I would like to thank Kevin and everyone at CD Scooters for their fantastic service and what I'm sure will be excellent service in future.
If you want TRUE, HONEST and RELIABLE service, then look nowhere else.

What has also been amazing is the quality of service from Kevin, Vicki and the rest of the team at CD Scooter. From my first contact for a quote to the bike delivery, they've always proven very responsive by email, super nice on the phone and always willing to help. You can see that the team there really loves what it's doing, and it shows in all the small details (such as the description of the background of all the team members in the delivery booklet, or the way Kevin set up the keys on my key-holder to avoid scratching the bike when riding!).
I rarely post reviews online, but I thought that this time it was really worth a "highly recommended”. I’ll keep going there for a long time!

I can't fault the work done to my Gilera Runner st125. The bike is now running better than ever thanks to CD Scooters. Yes, it seemed at the time a little pricey but you have to remember 20% goes to Osborne. The work is highly recommended but the internal communications need some work. Calls were not returned and there seemed to be no job sheet for people to refer to for information. Overall worth the money.
