I have just made my first internet based purchase from Bob Minion of a 2017 Triumph and it was a real pleasure to deal with them. The customer service was faultless and they kept me fully and promptly informed throughout the whole process.
The bike is immaculate and was perfectly and honestly described. Delivery was arranged and it arrived on the day and time as promised.
I will definitely be returning to Bob Minion in the future and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone else considering where to buy their next bike from.

Found my bike on Bob Minion’s website and right from the first phone call all I can say is that Mark and the business have been tremendous. Offered me a good part exchange for my other bike which I find so less insulting when you come to change up. Sometimes it’s not so much the cost but the feel you get for a business and the honest sincere and friendly nature of the people you are dealing with.
Extra parts were fitted for me with no hassle and my new bike delivered safely, on a particularly tricky day of the year.

First class service from this dealer, Trevor remembered that I'd made an enquiry some months earlier and called me as soon as a bike came in stock, lots of photos and phone calls(COVID Restrictions) - a very patient man and the deal was done, kept me up to date throughout the whole process, arranged the accessories I asked for and the bike was delivered in perfect condition exactly as he described it. A good old fashioned honest and friendly company where they still treat the customer right. Even if it's a bit of a drive for you it'll be worth the effort and remember it doesn't cost that much to have a new bike delivered rather than collect.

We called in without an appointment or ringing in advance to view a used bike we’d seen online the previous evening. We were welcomed in and shown the bike. We paid the full price, had no part exchange and they agreed to have the bike ready to ride away the same day. 2hrs later I rode it home. Excellent, proper old school bike shop, like they should be. Support dependents, we’ll miss them when they’re gone!

I cannot speak highly enough of Bob Minion motorcycles Ltd of Derby.
My mate and I ( both into our 60’s ) for the first time ever purchased two new bikes - Royal Enfield Himalayan’s - from salesman Trev Nuttall , all completed without meeting Trev or seeing the bikes until we collected them today.
Spot service and a very good deal . All expectations met and I would highly recommend Bob Minion’s to anyone , no matter where you live . I am sure that they will sort something out. Our deals were agreed and completed in 5 days and that included a weekend !

I went to Bob minion after bad service ar another motorbike shop. I went in on an appointment was met and greated by a very friendly guy who took me to view the bikes i had requested to see. There was no pushy sale he just talked me through features of each bike i looked at and pulled them out for me to sit and feel the comfort.

I want to thank Mark so much for his help in buying my first big bike. I live in the South and was unable to view the bike in person. Mark did me 3 video walk rounds of the bike (with sound!). It was serviced, MOT'd and new tyres put on. They also lowered the bike for me for a very a reasonable price. Delivery was arranged and Forest kept in touch with ETA on the morning. Always wary about buying something before you see it but Mark was honest about the condition (which was very good btw) and kept in touch with updates. Thank you!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, this made my one hour wait at the shop very pleasent. Went into Bob Minion last weekend to purchase my first motorbike. There is a very relaxed atmosphere in the shop and there is no pressure at all when deciding how you wish to proceed. They were more than happy for me to leave the shop and return 30 minutes later once I had thought it through. The sale process was very smooth and well explained throughout, thanks Mark.
The Bike was delivered a few days later by Trevor, who was more than happy to talk me through the bike and its various controls etc. Trevor spent some time (at my request) showing me how to get the bike on and off the centre stand and then checked I was doing it right afterwards. As it's been 6 months since I completed my CBT, all of this information was very useful.
I would definitely buy from Bob Minion again in the future. Thank you Mark and Trevor.

Real pleasure doing business with Bob Minion. I initially went to Kestrel in Coventry but stood there looking like a lemon for 15mins and ended up walking out as nobody seemed to want to help. I went into this dealership and every staff member was helpful and pleasant. They even kept hold of my bike for a few weeks, which really helped around the house move. Totally worth the journey up the M1!

I had three bikes on my shortlist. In between Christmas and the new year we popped into Minions as I knew they had two I could compare. At the top was the Honda CB300R but also the CB500X. What a pleasant surprise that they had just (literally two days' before) become a main dealer for the excellent range of Royal Enfield and also had the Himalayan - so that's all three on my list.
I was given ample opportunity to inspect and sit on all the bikes and decided on a used (2018) Honda CB300R. I chose this is it best suited my needs. I didn't need a test ride as I'm very familiar with the model but I'm confident that this could have been arranged if I'd needed it.
Trevor and Mark made the process of purchasing the bike very easy and it was ready as promised - on time, on the day of collection.
The promised battery tender lead was also present, very neatly tucked into the headstock. The bike was clean and well presented and all controls were explained.
I'm very happy indeed with my purchase and would recommend Bob Minion without hesitation. Pay them a visit if you are passing or are in the market for a new bike, clothing or a helmet. Or if you're curious about the new ranges including Honda, Royal Enfield, Mondial and Lambretta

I bought a Alpinestars v2 Andes touring jacket from this shop. First ride out the plastic tag on the zip broke making it difficult to open and close, impossible to adjust zip with gloves on. I took the jacket back to the shop. Salesman said there was nothing he could do? I said I would like it replacing or repairing. He said he couldn't replace and it would sit in the shop for 6 weeks before being picked up by the rep to be returned to Oxford products ???? . Said I should get repaired myself or send it back myself. 1/10 for customer service. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO ELSEWHERE ????????????????????????????????????????????

Just bought my new CRF250L via Mark at Bob Minion's, the whole process was conducted over the phone with the bike getting delivered by Kev of 'Bike Transit' . I have to say between Mark and Kev the whole process went as smoothly as it could have done. The handover of the bike to me and the thoroughness of the explanations was to a degree I have not experienced for a long time! ....trust me - I am a stickler for detail and these guys are 100%.
