Very rude and angry receptionist. She always sounds like you're wrong to be ill and the only thing she wanted to do is to cut you off the phone as quickly as possible. I understand receptionist can be busy when the lines opened but please treat people with respect. I was so close to tears while I was just trying to book an appt with Dr.

Great practise, with great Doctors, nurses and receptionists. I see some people complain about the practise and I sympathise with them. Truly I do. But I personally can't say that I've had that problem. Yes, getting an appointment can be difficult, but it's the same with most decent practises. And ALL the practises that I have been with unfortunately! I'm currently dealing with my 2nd brain tumour, suffer from osteopenia, some progressive and incurable problems and a whole host of other medical problems. (And I've been fighting one serious illness or another since 1999). And as I work 4 days a week, I have to try and tie in my visits with my day off. But to date, they've not let me down, I can't always get to see my Doctor, but I can nearly always book an appointment with another doctor in a week or two online. And the couple of times I've had to phone early in the morning I've got an appointment to. And each and every one of the Doctors I have seen have been great to me!

I've had the most horrendous time with this surgery to the point it's driven me to tears. I had only just joined as i moved to the area a year ago. Took me 4 months to try and get an appointment because every time i called i was rudely told 'Nothing left.' After eventually getting an appointment it then took 2 weeks to get my prescription after being lied to constantly as to where it was and that i can't have it. Reception staff made sarcastic comments constantly and i was taking days off work trying to chase down my prescription!!! Eventually i went to a pharmacy in tears where they made it for me anyway and later requested the prescription form the surgery. (I was told by a few people in the pharmacy this happens a lot with the surgery). After taking my prescription everything actually got worse and I became even more ill, so i tried to make another appointment to get this sorted as I've now been unwell for 6 months. I call - The first thing they say (interrupting me) is there is no appointments , none what so ever. That was that. So i am currently still unwell, having to take days off work because of it and i still can't get an appointment, just like the first 4 months. Reception are extremely rude and sarcastic - the doctors and nurses however are very kind. But I've never had so much trouble with a surgery before. Moving surgeries ASAP.

They always want to help and support, unfortunately they are stressed due to being overworked and people not taking this inboard

The computerised self check-in system is quick and easy to use, and gives you an estimate of how long you will need to wait and how many people are before you. The GPs that I have seen so far have all been very friendly and are happy to answer any questions. They are also very good with children. The parking is the main thing that lets this practice down. The surgery is inside the hospital, and therefore shares parking with the hospital. The car park is small and is usually full, meaning that you have to wait some time for a space to become free. This leads to a lot of parking in areas where there are restrictions, for example, yellow lines.

Trying to get the travel vaccinations has been very slow and painful. It is dealt by the nurses. I have had to change surgeries as I couldn't wait any longer for an appointment. Extremely disappointing. For doctors waiting times recently have been really long. I would not recommend this surgery.

I have always received such good care from everyone in the practice. Reception are very friendly and helpful and GPs and the nursing staff give a very high standard of care. I feel very fortunate to be a patient......
