Cedar Mews Care Home

I have been working with Cedar Mews for a few months now. I have found all the staff are extremely efficient and friendly. Cedar Mews is one of the most prestigious care homes within Leicestershire and are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this care home and the staff are excellent.

I recently felt compelled to seek an alternative home for my mother due to a poor level of care at her previous care home. From calling in unannounced through to my mother moving into Cedar Mews, the experience has been outstanding. All the staff were welcoming, attentive, well organised and professional, making the decision to change homes really obvious. My mother has settled in well, she likes the staff, the level of care, the excellent facilities and of course the quality food. The management systems, (like electronic care plans, and resident call alert system), the staffing levels and the caring attitude of the manager and all the staff we have met, all contribute to my confidence in entrusting the care of my mother to this home. I'm more than content in the quality of life my mother is now experiencing. Therefore I have no hesitation in recommending this home.

An amazing care home that is purpose built and offers first class person centered care. A relaxing, calming and empowering atmosphere to both work in and live in. Offering permanent residential care, permanent Dementia care, short term respite care and day care. Please feel free to come and visit and see for your selves.

My father resides here. It is THE BEST care home I have ever visited. A custom built care home that has a great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Staff are very professional and friendly. It is never a great time when a loved one has to lose their independence but great places like this take the sting out of it.

Absolutely amazing, I can't believe such an amazing care home exists. Not only was I shocked to see that this care home only has one review, (when checking for the post code) I am amazed to find that one review is a very poor judged and sinister one of which absolutely contradicts the reflection of the care home- and felt I had to step in. Ceder Mews is one of its own, the staff are amazing, the support and services and amazing and I truly can not think of a care home in this region that even comes close to the standards that of Ceder Mews. The dedicated staff deserve recognition and the residents convey nothing but joy when I have previously visited. # The accommodation is to an excellent standard and feels more like a 5* hotel than somewhere someone might reside for care purposes. I can not oppose the idea that the management don't care enough- I have never come cross such professional, approachable, dedicated senior staff and the amount of effort put into the running and general 'stand out'ness of Ceder Mews shows. The managers are always involved in the NUMBER of activities that are provided on a daily/weekly basis to residents of ALL capacity which I have witnessed and took part in myself! I would stretch to say that previous review was a falsified opinion of a competitor who is threatened by the extent Ceder Mews has made an impact on this community and surrounding areas and the giant shadow it casts on their establishments and staff-

Can’t comment on the standard of care, but not paying a performer for almost four months, despite repeated, diplomatic reminders is very disappointing.

I visited there with someone,who wanted to see his sister,oh my God l love it ,very very beautiful .l liked the place very lovely .l even wish if l can find a job there.l love the place sure wow.

2 for chef ...1 everyone else. After 3/4 attempts to get my paperwork back still waiting!!

Well what can I say the most amazing care hime I've ever seen . Attention to detail calm and quiet .
