I received treatment in the day surgery unit on april 21st 2021 and was very impressed with the care. From the day unit nurses to the xray technicians and doctor in theatre, everyone was so kind, friendly and caring and did everything they could to make me comfortable and at ease.THANK YOU everyone. This is what all doctors surgeries and hospitals should be. I attended following on going investigation into my medical issues and found the staff on site to be really pleasant helping guide me to where i needed to go. The consultant saw me pretty soon and requested sample and blood tests which were carried out just down the hall. WHY cant all centre be like this instead of going away and waiting weeks for another appointment for the tests!!! If they were all this easy the NHS would save a great deal of time and money too! The hardest part was parking as there are not many bays so local street parking is advised. If that's the worst part then you can be sure medically you will feel looked after!

I can only speak about the eye unit. The wheelchair access is good with a drop-off point right at the entrance. The treatment my mother has received has bee exemplary. Can't leave without mentioning that, as usual the car parking price is extortionate. Sorry but I had to get that in.

We are so lucky to have this amazing hospital. Where else can you see a consultant, have a blood test and an xray on the same day. The occupational team are all amazing. It's like having friends who really care about you. They go over and above for their patients.

I have been to the Eye Clinic before, the reception staff are not helpful and don't care about what patients say.
When you come for treatments you wait for hours, some people are treated quicker than others, if you are not English you are discriminated by staff and some of the nurses.
A couple of people I know started doing eye treatments there before but have since changed to other hospitals because they were treated so badly.
If you try to contact the Eye Clinic by phone is practically impossible.

Treatment here has been exemplary. Outpatients only and minor surgery. Now has new opthalmology wing. There is no A&E. Downside is that as it is pay & display parking you can be feeding the meter all day.
