Beaumanor Care Home

Very little staff on duty.need to be more staff.staff dont care about pople who stay there.staff now were to be found.very bad home.

Just spoken with Lynn the manager, what a rude lady and not sure why a insensitive person would be able to manage a care home.

Staff are unhelpful and ignore residents, an elderly male resident was practically on the floor, and 3 staff members just stepped over him. Another elderly woman had wet herself, and sat there for an hour waiting for a nurse to assist her after she said she’d be “5 minutes” The main dining and living area is dull, and looks as if it hasn’t been updated since it opened. Request and help calls from the system are left unanswered which leads to a constant deafening ringing sound all around the care home. One time upon arrival I saw bed 19A ringing for an hour and was still ringing even when I’d left. Furthermore, I am astonished that the staff need to be told when to attend to a resident. Overall a really bleak place, where the residents are miserable, the staff unenthusiastic and disregard the calls of the helpless residents.

Truly awful care home. The biggest mistake we ever made was leaving my dad in their care. Do not leave a relative here. It was the worst mistake ever.
