Terribly unprofessional Staff!!!! I'm far from impressed with the reception staff, doctors seem OK (but definitely nothing exceptional at all. Having to have my flue jab )as I'm clinically vulnerable, as I am unable to wear a facemask for medical reason, I was already super stressed by having to go to a new surgery (being autistic it's pretty stressful) especially since I'd been shielding for months. as I go the receptionists wearing a sunflower lanyard, she asks me to wait outside, and the nurse should come and get me, however she then pops her head out of the surgery and demands in front of people queuing outside a reason for why i can't wear a mask, and she wasn't whispering. A very humiliating and stressful experience for sure. Once i get to the nurse, i ask if she could give me the name of the receptionist in question . (i repeat this question at least three times, and she blanked it each and every time). Fair to say that I shall be changing surgery as soon as I'm able to find one in my new catchment area that is not a total joke. Update: their que busting service has now been broken for over a week, meaning we've all been enjoying over 1 hour's worth of badly recorded muzak with intermittent reminder that I should have used that service, receptionists unhelpful as always haven't passed on my 4 messages. Made a formal complaint this GP surgery is the worst they messed up my 2nd Jab Vaccine and now i have to take the last spot in Portslade which is going to clash with other health appointments that had already been prebooked, changed my score to reflect this

I recently switched to this doctors practice and I have nothing but positive words to say. The receptionist is lovely (had a bad experience with previous) and Dr Arcari is just a true blessing. Absolutely superb, I have never in my whole life felt so comfortable with a doctor. The online booking system (SystmOnline) is super easy to use and I always manage to get an appointment. High recommend.

This is the Rolls Royce of doctors surgeries. What is really outstanding is how they treat their patients. Saturday I had a flu jab and it took less than 2 minutes and system ran like clockwork.

Rudest receptionist ever! my mum needed a repeat prescription today and the receptionist was so unhelpful with the worst attitude! The GP how ever was so nice and helpful and wrote the prescription and told us to collect it within an hour.

Very poor website, directs you to the wrong number, can't be transferred so had to call again, listened to loads of messages and options, selected final option and cut off. This happened 3 times. Gave up as my blood pressure was through the roof. Still can't get my annual review so unable to get my repeat prescription. Unbelievably poor.

I have just joined this surgery and it is the best one I have been with, by far. The receptionists are wonderful, the appointment booking is the best I have experienced and my doctor was great. I am so happy this is my doctors! Thank you to all the staff that work so hard to make this surgery so good.

I could not ever have wished for a better surgery. I CONGRATULATE ALL STAFF for being so EXCELLENT. Friendly , clean, professional, modern , practical, ....This is proper first-world service. Their online portal, the machines to check your pressure, height and weight at the entrance, the pharmacy .... The good , easy atmosphere. The hygiene of the place..... If I could i would buy all doctors and reception and maintenance staff a gift for being so lovely. I'll find ways to give something back to this community ,,, and to the surgery itself. If I ever move address losing this surgery is the one regret i'd find hard to get over.

Unfortunately over the years my prescriptions have come to my local pharmacy more and more infrequent. I made sure to order the scripts a good week before collection. I cared for my late partner for the last 12 years of her life, and if my medication wasn't available (sometimes waiting another 1-2 days on top of the due date then it was much more difficult on both of us. I injured my back in my late teens and over quite a number of years I have received some PIP. To be fair I have no qualms with the any of the staff, but the past week has been more than irksome. NO SCRIPT on Monday-I had a phone consultation the Thursday before. NO SCRIPT Tuesday (I currently need a weekly script) and then after complaining..today being now Thursday I received a letter asking to move to a closer practice forth with! The joke being I NO LONGER was in there catchment area. I moved home 7 years ago. NOT RECENTLY. Well I'll miss the girls who man the desks. I decided 7 years ago to stick with the Charter, because I loved going there. Times have changed and my benefit is finding a practice closer to me. I hope I have set a clear balance on my review.

Best GP practice I've been to in years. Appointments always available (I use the online system) and can get an emergency appointment if needed over the phone. I have a fairly long list of repeat medications and the surgery always dispatch them to my pharmacy as quickly as possible. There have been occasions where I was late ordering my prescriptions and the surgery have always been really good in turning them around quickly. The doctors and nurses are friendly during appointments and are really efficient with the service they provide. The surgery can get busy during peak times and often there are not enough receptionists, but this is true of any doctors surgery. Great work Charter Medical Centre!

So I walk into the pharmacy with my career to get my medication which was ordered 2 weeks in advcance. Got there and instead of the normal 90min mate of them putting together 2 items they gave me my prescription. I could tell it wasn’t right so opened it and surprise surprise it’s same tablets they’ve been been trying to give me for 3 weeks despite the fact of them not being mine and me being highly arlergic to them. I’m then told it’s not there problem and I to talk to receptionist who tells me that I’ll have to call after 2 which I had no credit so to come back and wait after 3pm. I’m unable to do either as my career will not be able to get me there. Rude and aggressive staff

Moved to this surgery after moving from an excellent surgery in south London. It is very good. Great plus point is the availability of the 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners who are able to deal with most everyday issues and can give prescriptions. If i have one little niggle it is the (sometimes) lack of staff at the reception desk which can lead to a long wait, but overall very very satisfied.

I would like to thank the nurse Lisa (I hope I remembered her name correctly) who saw me at the reception trying to get an appointment because a deep cut I had in my hand and she came and offered to see it despite the fact that she wasn't working at that moment. She advised me and her advice was a spot on as my wound has been fully recovered since then.

If ordering your prescription through the chemist I would suggest allowing two weeks. The system in place at the surgery seems to struggle with a 7 day turn around!!

TOTAL LICE
When my mum's health started to deteriorate, doctors took really good care of her. If not the waiting time for treatments, she still would be alive, but thats not the GP's fault. Receptionists are nice, but give different answers to some questions i asked and go about different ways of sorting things out. Also bit of a mess in their files and computer system. Overall - i am happy to be a patient there.

The phone lines can be a bit clogged sometimes but that is my main niggle. You can use Patient access through Emis on your computer to repeat scripts. You have to go to the surgery with I.D. to set this up but once it's done away you go. I' have seen 7 different Doctors hear for various reasons and they have all been really helpful in my opinion. There is no longer a Dentist in the same building but it is less than 1/4 mile away. Best Surgery I have ever attended hands down.

Am on third attempt to try to get through via the phone with a query from my disabled brother - have tried different times and all with no luck so far. Not an efficient service at all, unless you have the time to hang on endlessly? I will have to drive over in person to get help.

Got refered to this surgery by my GP in Hove Wellbeing because they didnt have evening appointment. Been suffering from several things lately mostly from some sort of hayfever which I didnt have before I wanted to ask to be refered to have an alergy check done so I can make some steps of filtering out anything what triggers it from my enviroment. The old doctor who saw me was like 90.Didnt even look at me when I explained my simptoms and showed my rashes. He sent me away with the amazing advice to "look around in my life what might triger an allergy or hayfever" i asked what should i look out for he said he doesnt know just check when I have symptoms.I replied I have symptoms 80%of the time wherever I am. Then he just said if i am unhappy then I should go back to my own GP. Well if thats the medical help one receive here I hope he retires tonight because it was a complete waste of air.So back to my 2 a day hayfever tablet to not scratch my own skin off or eyes out, maybe I will need them to look around in my life for allergic triggers because I obviously know all the trees and plants and possible food triggers. How can someone like this be a doctor. Hope he will be treated the same way when he has problems.Absolutely fuming. If he wouldnt been ancient I would of told him where to put his diploma.
