Today, I called Leicester Sexual Health and spoke to a lady named Carol to book an appointment for my wife, but she however she refused to book it because my wife cannot speak English. I told her she can speak Hindi and I could translate for her but Carol refused since she could not speak English and said she had to come alone for the appointment and not bring someone else with her. There are two things that are I think illegal. First, she said that she could not speak English and because of that she could not book the appointment. Secondly, she, according to Carol, had to come alone and bring nobody but herself to the appointment. Because of this issue, I do not know how to book the appointment for my wife. I did not see or read any information that says a patient must speak English to have an appointment booked.!!!

Not friendly with foreigner! The stuff on the phone is very impatient and shows no pity to the patient. She refused to let me reserve any appointment even though I said I could wait. Terrible

I've just tried to call them and it says they're now closed, how does that make sense when the open times are half 8.

The staff was inpatient and laughed at me when I phoned them about my case as my English is not very well.

Looked for details on line, website tells you to ring and make an appointment due to Covid-19 and no walk-in allowed. Rang and pressed option 1, linrs were busy and call was dropped, no facility to leave message or call back. Cabt book an appointment on line. Very poor service ????

Excellent service provided here. I walked in the other day and was able to get seen. Felt extremely sorry for the staff as people were shouting at them because they had to wait. Of course you have to wait. It’s a walk in service. Just looking at other reviews on here makes me laugh. People saying they have to work and loose money if they take time off work. Its your health. Exactly the same if you went to A&E. Very helpful staff who helped with my needs. Thank you

NOTHING happens if you press option 1! It tells you that if you need to know about the opening times, you need to go online, then it cuts you off! If you call again and press option 3, someone VERY RUDE picks up and they say "Press option 1" KNOWING THAT OPTION 1 DOES NOT DO ANYTHING! I told him I already pressed option 1 and he said keep trying and then he said "Yeah, I know it cuts you off!" What?! I strongly believe common sense NEEDS to be explained to this type of people!!!

Hi all, I had an appointment here today and I highly recommend it, everyone is very helpful and friendly considering the amount of people and work they are dealing every day. You have to wait a bit, but not much, they are really trying to sort everyone who's coming even if they don't have an appointment . I had an appointment and everything went lovely.

Absolutely amazing staff!! Felt light headed having a coil fitted but the staff (a Dr and Cassandra) were so lovely and made complete sure that I was ok and that my blood pressure was fine before leaving the clinic. Faultless service from start to finish.

I've tried calling 3 times on 3 different days. The first 2 days I called way before they closed, but the phone lines were closed. The third time I was put on hold for 40 minutes only to be told there was a system failure. When I went in to make an appointment in person, they told me I had to make it over the phone. Update: I ended up waiting for over 6 months for an appointment (they said it'd take 12 weeks) and they never got back to me. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone.

This self serve check in is a joke!!! Why have staff who are experienced in using the computer standing there doing nothing whilst watch people struggle checking themself in. Go back to how it was. It's a waste of time, and it's a longer process

I have been seeking help for 3 days. NHS told me to call the clinic and make an appointment with them which I tried and no one picked up the phone for hours. I have literally been on the line for 2h and 45 minutes and no one picked up. So I finally decided to go there in person and an awfully rude older lady at the front wouldn't even listen to me and told me 'I need to call and book online'. When I informed her that I did try to do that, she told me I could "go to the place I am more comfortable". The worst experience ever. Definitely not recommend. -10 for lack of professionalism and empathy!

The clinicians themselves are professional and exceptionally attentive at their job, however, you are going to be very lucky to even be seen by one. I have been to St Peter’s Clinic and never had any trouble getting an appointment as I always turned up early and queued and waited. Now the clinic has moved, it is near impossible to get one. The “walk in and wait” clinic on Thursdays is completely misleading as it is always fully booked with appointments. This is totally understandable if they did not advertise it as a walk in clinic. Luckily, I won’t have to return here in the foreseeable future as my GP surgery has been able to schedule an appointment there for what I needed. I really think there needs to be a good rethink of the way the appointments system works.

Was travelling one hour to be seen at the clinic. Two days ago the afternoon clinic was close due to unforeseen circumstances. I took another day off from work to travel to Leicester. Toady again, staff meeting. Clinic will b reopen in the afternoon. So frustrating! Why the website did show that the clinic is open? Again, on Saturday morning the website showed clinic "opens soon". Hmm on the clinic door notice, that will be reopen in few days! Wasted time and money three times. The system with bookings and website need to be adjusted definitely!

Confidential? Embarrassing waiting outside for doors to be opened on display for world to see. Should not have moved this service. Yes it is more accessible but less confident in this. Further more lack of security and crowd control. People rush in when the doors open. People try push in. Witnessed one lady telling a guy he was pushing in. He was threatening and passive aggressive and squared up to a vulnerable lady who was pregnant. This place needs a security guard. Sooner or later a fight will break out and I fear for public safety and good order.

Came for a walk in at 3 and left at 6 without being sen, wasted a lot of time waiting and the staff gave me no updates until i asked how long id have to wait and was told i'd be next at 5:10 and then ignored me for the rest of the time. Why have a walk in service if you have to wait for hours to be seen?

Awful experience. States walk in is 3-6. Arrive at 4pm. 4 people in waiting room. Told its too busy and to go somewhere else with no sympathy or care. What do we pay our taxes for with a service like this?

They do not even deserve 1 star..when st Peter's was at it previous location it was fab. However it had change. I want to get the implant out as I have been having problems for 3 months now but since they have moved to the haymarket there is NEVER any app left. They tell me to basically walk in every day or phone every day to see if they have one available but they never have. I have used £5 a day to get there and back to find out that they have nobody there to do it even though I rang and was told that I would get seen that day if I went down...it is absolutely ridiculous!! Its a 5 minute job (not even that!) Would much prefer to take it out myself then to waste my money and time every single day!! ????????
