I used the cash machine here lastnight and found someone had fitted a piece of metal to the cash slot so it held your money when dispensed.
The cashier kindly gave me a pair of scissors to try and get a grip on the corner of notes and pull them free, luckily I got £50 out of £60 so only lost a tenner. So be careful when using this cash machine as it is obviously targeted.

I went inn here just before the refurbished it ....a young guy was on the till....he was down to earth had banter ..and most of all he apologized right away ,seeing that I was look for food and they did not have anything in stock.....I would visit definitely

it been a good place since the one in east finchley shut down. you have to pay to use the cash machine witch I dont like. and it's quite small inside.

Great place to get your coffee before heading towards London, it has a automatic car wash, probably the single one that can facilitate this option when you’re heading to central London via A1. But check via telephone, car wash operating hours. (Some people travelling early would like to have this option if they want to have a clean car).

Very busy service station at time of visit, but the gent behind the till serving was spot on..really helpful, polite and quick to serve..usual petrol station foodstuffs available in store, all grades of fuel available and considering its location, the fuel price was quite good too..cannot really fault the place..

Good: it's open 24-hours a day and sells petrol.
Bad: little English spoken at night: shopkeeper doesn't know what Lemsip is (offered lemonade), sold twice as much tobacco as requested, which was 20% overpriced.

Stopped there 3 weeks ago to quickly purchase something to drink as I was traveling home from my cousin’s place in Mill Hill and the traffic was heavy. Was held up in a cue because the card machine wasn’t working and had to be rebooted. The staff was very patient and sorted it in the end and apologized for the holdup.

I don't think this station is working for the people or the drivers that use it as the WC has been out of use for the last 5/6 weeks that I know of as I'm a delivery driver and I work in the area of it so it would have been the closest for me but know I have to go 4.6 miles to find a WC then come back to the area and finish my drops the people that work ther are not very clean as there is an odd smell when you walk in to the staion. I will not be using the station to get food drinks or petrol I will find and use an other one that I go to use their WC.

This garage is the most fabulous thing in gods creation. Who knew you could drive in, put a liquid called petrol into the car and car works. There is also a rather large building where one enters with the car and then emerges with a clean car. It’s like magic. You do have to pay at kiosk though. You can’t have something for nothing. Even magic.

They are not a 24*7 service as stated in the description. The other day I came late few minutes past the official closure and the guy refused to serve me. However on another occasion when I left the wallet at home the tilt officer took my smart phone as a guarantee letting me come back in half an hour to pay. The car wash is just 10 yards behind the station. It is not related to Esso. It is quite busy there, especially on the weekends.

Staff rude and incompetent. Sporadically make some people pay before filling up for no obvious reason. Having used this petrol station for over 20 years I will now refuse to give them my custom. I recommend only using them in an emergency and even then at own discretion. Seriously rude, especially the manager.

After realising I was running low on fuel for a big trip, I stopped off at the Esso - which can be a tricky thing to do unless you know exactly where to turn in!
The next 5 minutes was totally bizarre - we were all told over tannoy that we weren't allowed to fill up for the next 10-15 minutes as while the staff changed over. This was totally baffling, and incredibly frustrating.
It would have been good of the staff to apologise for the delay to everyone's journeys - but perhaps that was asking a little too much.
