We hired Victoria Lily Events to set up a bell tents village for our 10 years' wedding anniversary weekend and it looked fantastic! :) Everyone loved it!! Tents came with beds (choice of doubles or singles) and with bedding if required. Great service too! Vicki was very helpful and quick to respond! Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Huge thank you!

Hired a hot tub for my son's birthday and it was a great experience. Fab communication with Vicki from the start, kept me informed of delivery times etc and left very clear instructions on how to use the tub. A great service and would definitely use this Company again, Vicki is a lovely friendly lady who you can tell takes pride in her work.

Ordered a photo booth for our wedding, didn't turn up on the day. Received an email saying that she'd been in a car accident.......Facebook showed that she was at Glastonbury. Received refund, but nothing will ever replace the memories from our special day. AVOID!

After searching for a bridal tent for our wedding night, we came across Victoria Lily events, the decor and furniture was perfect for our wedding theme and venue, really modern and unique which we wanted over the traditional ones we had seen elsewhere. Victoria was lovely to deal with, certainly has an eye for detail and passionate about what she does. The tent was set up so quickly the day before and was just perfect, our guests all commented on how lovely it was! We were so happy we used them and would definitely recommend, thank you!!

Wow wow wow I simply can’t recommend Victoria and her stunning business enough! She went above and beyond for me with my tipi village for my wedding and made my life far less stressful in the lead up to my big day. The tipi’s themselves were outstandingly beautiful, such an easy booking system for all our guests and everyone said they were the nicest they’ve ever stayed in. I really hope to have another opportunity to use Victoria Lily Events, you certain won’t be disappointed!

Shocked to read a few of the negative reviews on here, we had a good experience with Vicky so can only comment on that... Initial contact was great - had a big chat on the phone about what we wanted. Communication on the days leading up to the wedding was great too. The tents were clean and looked stunning. We had a beautiful honeymoon suite complete with full sized bed, floor length mirror etc. All of our guests that stayed were more than happy with their tents. Vicky was occasionally difficult to get hold of in the months prior, we're quite laid back, so wasn't the end of the world but could be an issue for some. If I called Vicky, it would go to answerphone almost immediately, but she'd always get back. The only real negative I can think of is that the online booking system needs a little bit of work. She introduced it after we booked her, so is still new, but a few of our guests found it quite confusing. Other than that - would totally recommend Vicky!

Vicki was amazing, very professional, organised and so helpful! The photo booth photos were amazing! We would definitely use her again!

We used Vicki and her bell tents for our wedding last weekend. We booked around 10-15 tents. Vicki has been an excellent communicator, provided beautiful clean tents and good camp beds. The set up and take down was on time and reliable. Vicki was an absolute joy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

The Photo-booth did not function properly on the day and we weren't able to get a photo book. Vicki was supposed to bring a backdrop but didn't. After saying she would post all the things we paid for we got nothing and are still waiting. Terrible communication before and after the wedding. After months of trying to get our promised USB, photo book and partial refund we've had few responses to our emails or phone calls. And when we did get replies they were pretty incoherent and included emails which she supposedly sent which we did not receive. After spending a lot of money for this service all we have is around 20 photos online. a waste of money.

Amazing company. The tents r beautiful and incredible to have as a little treat to finish our day. Also hired photo booth for daughters party and wedding and never laughed so much. Highly recommend xxx

The bell tent hire looks great. What you see is what you get and on the odd occasion we didn't get what we wanted however after a quick email, this company were very fast to response and issues were resolved instantly. I would recommend considering this company amongst others

We hire Victoria Lily Event over the summer for a wonderful family gathering. We had people arrive from near and far. what a fantastic experience we all loved it. Her company is well organised friendly and very professional. I can highly recommend her services with out any issues.

Could not be more happy with the service received from Vicky. She was so helpful and accommodating and made sure every request I had was met!! Everyone else at our event was very impressed too and have since gone on to book her themselves for their events!!

I really could not be more chuffed with the service I received from Victoria Lily Events! She was so accommodating and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. A number of people at my event were also extremely impressed, and will be using VLE in the near future. Top notch service and customer care. Definitely recommend.

Vicky's eye for detail and excellent interpretation of our design ideas gave our big day an extra wow factor! The photoboth was a favourite amongst our guests, young and old, and my the photos we have from it are a wonderful reminder of the day. Vicky worked so hard for us and we cannot recommended her enough

The following is from the email I sent to VLE. Suffice to say we have had no reply, let alone an apology or (ha!) refund or a receipt or thank you for the balance paid. I cannot let this go without expressing our disappointment with the tent you provided for a family wedding. The two beds had dated, thin duvet covers and sheets on them and were not at all as described or pictured on your website. We also had to borrow a pump as both mattresses went down pretty rapidly. The inside bunting was so tatty there really was no point having it, surely it wouldn't cost much to update such items and renew bedding regularly. We spent our 2nd night in the Honeymoon Tent and whilst the bed was comfortable, I have never been so cold! The duvet was possibly the lowest tog rating ever and not warm enough for UK camping. I notice on the website you describe the bedding in the HT as 'hotel standard' I really don't think that was the case. It certainly wasn't 'luxurious and comfortable'. Unfortunately I felt there there was a complete lack of care and attention to detail and was certainly not value for money (I trust you received our final payment) At best we would like a partial refund, at worst an apology. Both would be a bonus. Luckily we had an absolute ball at our wedding but no thanks AT ALL to Victoria Lily. PS I'm only giving one star because its not possible to give zero

We booked both Victoria Lily's Bell Tents and Photo Booth for our wedding in May - great service, team and my guests loved it. Would recommend.

We hired Victorialily events ( photo booth) for my birthday! It was brilliant, all my guests absolutely loved it. Staff were really lovely! Highly recommended!!!

Though Victoria herself is lovely (and that is why I’m giving 2 stars and not 1), unfortunately we were massively let down on our wedding day. Myself and a few guests were forced to sleep on the floor as beds were not inflated, the honeymoon sweet is not really much to rave about. I wouldn’t call this glamping, more like camping with a bit of bunting thrown in. There were many other issues, but I don’t have the time or energy to write. I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel I have to let others know so it doesn’t put a downer on anyone else’s wedding day.

I have used VLE on a couple of occasions now and both times I have been provided with a 5 star service. The bell tents i hired for an event were both comfortable and beautifully decorated. The photo booth provided my guests with lots of fun and laughs with the props provided. All in all i found VLE to be very friendly and helpful throughout, and the communication was consistent both before my events and after. Would definitely recommend..

Avoid at all costs! Our wedding was in July 2017, Victoria Lily Events turned up at the wedding and took the photos but we have still not received the photo book (despite chasing a number of times!!). We had paid in full before the wedding and it is so disappointing that what we have paid for has not been delivered. DO NOT USE !

Avoid this company at all costs! The bell tents that she provides are laughable. We paid £150 for 1 night and had half blown up mattresses, 1 pillow between the two of us, and no sheet! The tent was also full of mud. This wasn't an isolated incident - everyone at the wedding had the same experience. When I have tried to contact Vicki she hasn't replied to emails and the phone number doesn't work. If I could give no stars then I would. Joke of a company. DO NOT USE! x

We booked Vicki to arrange a photobooth for our work Christmas party in central London. She was not only organised and prepared, she was so lovely to work with. She felt part of the party on the night, and the photo's were the best quality we've had from a photobooth. Would highly recommend, and will definitly use again in the future.

Use for my wedding photo booth and some great photos were produced. I like how there is no limit to the number of people that can fit. However, very bad communication before and after the event and never sent me my photos on USB after chasing for it. A nice set up but awful management. I'm still waiting for my USB stick.

It’s been over two months and still we have had no response regarding our disappointment with VLE service. So I will repost my review and look into getting my money back from this company... I am disgusted and disappointed in the service we received when we hired our wedding village! What should of been a beautiful cosy village turned out to be a joke! Our best man and his girlfriend had to rush out and buy bunting lighting etc because there was nothing supplied by Vicky! The beds supplied were the cheapest going and were all near enough deflating before the evening of use! So yet again we had to go and buy a pump! She made no effort at all in making the wedding village look attractive for us and our guest nor our bride and groom tent which was dire like all the others apart from she put a random small table in there? We had a lot of bad feed back from our guest about their stay and most of our guest including us had to sleep on our cars!! We had trouble contacting Vicky through the whole process and to top it off she turned up a day late. Avoid this company at all cost!!! The pictures on website are false advertising as all you get is a tent and a deflated bed! Avoid!! No option for zero star!!!

DO NOT USE VICTORIA LILY EVENTS! I strongly recommend reading all the other negative reviews on here which basically echo my experience of using Vicki. An absolutely awful woman who doesn’t reply to any emails, is miserable on the day of your wedding and completely ignores the agreed details of the booking I.e the backdrop we picked. The worst part is we have still not received our guestbook and USB which we have paid for despite her fake odd email in response to the many I have sent her where she claims it has been sent out, funny how mine along with many others has not arrived Vicky. She will then block you on social media because she can’t handle the truth. I never ever write reviews bad or good but I literally cannot believe how this woman is still operating a business under these circumstances, a vile horrible woman who is scamming people and ruining people’s wedding days and simply doesn’t care about it. My partner and I are actually in the process of seeking legal action against Victoria after speaking to citizens advice, they have said as she had failed to meet the terms of her contract and has not provided the service we had paid for then we can take her to court worst case senario... seems very dramatic however I absoloutley would do that if it comes to it after seeing the way she treats her clients, strongly recommend other people take legal action too who have been wronged by this woman.

My wife booked Victoria Lily photobooth a year before our wedding and communication seemed brilliant. Vicki was very responsive and said all was ok for the day and that she’s be in touch nearer the time. As we approached the day, Vicki didn’t respond to any emails we sent first time round. My wife had to email twice to even get a response, with Vicki blaming it on her emails not getting through... On the day, they arrived on time however the girl set up the booth incorrectly meaning we got a rubbish back drop, which wasn’t what my wife had discussed (at length!) with Vicki! Not only that, but the booth was too close to the wall (as the back drop) which meant that people were cut out of photos as it was so zoomed in. This also meant that the photos were somewhat distorted, and looked poor quality! The booth prop box was extremely limited and poor - had we known, we’d have supplied our own props! The booth broke an hour in, which meant we didn’t get the other 2 hours use out of it that we had paid for! We’ve emailed Vicki about this (twice of course!) and still waiting for a response!! And finally, of course we haven’t received our promised USB stick yet and I highly doubt we will!! Overall, highly disappointed with this company and would definitely NOT recommend them at all!!!

Hired vlv to dress our engagement party, amazingly professional throughout and venue dressed to my exact specifications nothing was to much trouble, vicki works so hard to ensure complete satisfaction with her clients xx couldn't recommend enough

Absolutely AWFUL experience with Victoria Lily’s bell tents for my wedding day. Would never recommend her to anyone. Not that I would have ever let it, but it came pretty close to ruining the wedding day and upset a lot of the guests. Mostly sad that even though we highlighted these issues, she never once apologised and by the end was ignoring me at my own wedding! Problems were: - Unclean and old/tatty tents that were not put up well. Had rubbish in from previous use. Airbeds all deflated so my wedding guests either slept on a deflated mattress or were going round pre-ceremony trying to re-inflate then (borrowing a pump from my other camping friends as the one Victoria provided had no charge and didn’t connect to the airbeds anyway) - Turning up with four less airbeds than required (the day before the wedding) and not being able to solve this until the day of the wedding, a few hours before the ceremony (bearing in mind the tents were hired from the day before the wedding - so leaving some guests with nothing to sleep on, even though they had paid for a whole weekends hire) - Promising me she had upwards of 50 tents for hire (and could get extra if required) but then being unable to deliver on this, which we found out a few days before the wedding. This resulted in us having to go to a different company to hire extra tents last minute (at great cost) - Not providing the right additional extras (i.e. mirrors, tables etc.) in the tents that my guests had paid for. This was never rectified and no refund given. - Poor communication beforehand. Guests emailing to book a tent and not hearing back. Victoria denying recievening emails. Bridesmaids not even getting their tent booking confirmed. Not replying to even my emails in the few weeks before the wedding. Required constant checking up on that she had an up to date spreadsheet and was going to bring the right equipment (which she didn’t as it turned out - god knows what would have happened if I hadn’t been so involved in the organisation beforehand) - Promising me that we would be the only wedding she would do that weekend, so we would be her only focus, but then admitting the day before the wedding, she was doing another event. - Ignored my guests who emailed (multiple times!) with above compliants (leaking air bed, no extras as they had paid for etc etc) after the wedding. Although did reply and gave a refund to one guest who offered to write a good google review for her! (would therefore be pretty wary of the seemingly good reviews for her) - Staff who put up the tents admitted to having never even put up a tent before and felt completely hopeless trying to inflate air beds when the pump had no charge. Victoria nowhere to be seen, so actually seemed that those who worked for her were being treated just as poorly. All in all, not really a good word to say and quite embarrassing that so many of our wedding guests had to put up with this awful service and a very uncomfortable night in an unclean tent. Very disappointing to have to sit in my hotel room the night before my wedding and to have to send Victoria an email with all the problems so that hopefully she could sort it before the ceremony the next day. Obviously enough, no reply or apology...

Do not use this company! They set up a Bell Tent Village for our wedding, including the Honeymoon tent. The tents were not nice, the beds all deflated by the time people arrived. The honeymoon tent was poor. We were two tents short! One tent collapsed. People that had booked bedding, didn't get what they asked for. They do not reply to your emails. All my guest were unhappy. It almost ruined our wedding! So upsetting. Avoid!

I never leave reviews--so this speaks volumes to how unimpressed I am. I booked vicki's photobooth for my wedding in August. I paid extra for a leather bound guest book. I got a cheap nasty cardboard one. There were very few props. But ultimately I didn't let this bother me. It was my wedding! Since the wedding I have repeatedly requested that the USB stick I paid for be posted to me. It has never happened. She eventually just stopped replying. Don't bother with this lady. Once she has your money she is no longer interested in providing an honest and professional business.

Dreadful company - cannot express our disappointment enough in the tent we had to sleep in that we had paid for for three nights whilst at a wedding. Still no response to our complaint that was sent early September.

Our experience with Victoria Lily was extremely disappointing and the communication afterwards even worse! We booked a photo booth for our wedding this July almost 2 years ago, but they still managed to get it wrong. 1. The back drop which was confirmed in May that we could have for our photos was not put up. After raising this after our wedding we were told that the back drop would need a 2 metre space to be put up. This was never mentioned to us or we would have sorted a different space in advance. 2. We requesting specific wording on our passport style photos which was not on them, instead a bit of company promotion 'Victoria Lily Events'. Again I raised this and was told it would be looked into but to date I have had NO response. I didn't expect to get any sort of monetary refund (even though we should of) but all I asked was for 2 copies of each photo to be re printed so we could amend our guest book and give to our guests but I haven't received a response to 3 emails since mid August. I have also tried calling but the number on the Facebook website is incorrect and the page won't let you leave a comment/review ... convenient! 3. We are still waiting for the USB stick with the photos which we have paid for and has never arrived! It's one thing to get it wrong, but it's even worse to not even attempt to fix it! Unfortunately google review would not allow me to leave any less than 1 star otherwise I would!

We had Victoria booked for the evening of our Wedding in June 2016 but unfortunately she did not show up on the day. Despite our attempts to contact her on the day, we did not receive any response until 4 days later. We were informed that a car accident occurred and an immediate refund would be provided, however it took another month of chasing before we received any money. Multiple phone messages, emails and Facebook messages were sent before she responded. We eventually received a 95% refund and had to chase for the final 5%. The Victoria Lily Events Facebook page shows that Victoria attended another Wedding instead of ours on our date and another client has mentioned they were also given the excuse of a car accident. Prior to the wedding Victoria was very prompt, but come our Wedding day she was very elusive. Very disappointed with the way the situation was handled by Victoria.

Tried for months to arrange some bell tents for our wedding. The only way we received any written confirmation was via Facebook messenger as Victoria doesn't reply to telephone calls, text or email. Confirmed a week before the wedding through Facebook that all was ok, however was let down 2 days before the wedding when we had radio silence and no tents! Avoid using at all costs! Absolutely terrible management and I can't imagine Victoria Lily Events will be going for much longer if she continues to run her business like this. Cannot recommend Funky Monkey Tents enough who we're able to accommodate our requests at the last minute and couldn't help enough.

The worst experience I have ever had with a company. Atrocious service from Victoria Lily events. Lack of contact, dirty tents, dirty bedding, flat mattress, items missing that we had paid for (lights, tables, mirrors) and months down the line still no response from Victoria Lily. All other guests at my sisters wedding shared a similarly poor experience. I saw the imact this disaster had on my sister, the bride, including calling and emailing VL the night before and the morning of the wedding to try and rectify the situation with the tents. NEVER USE VICTORIA LILY EVENTS.

A brilliant service offered absolutley love the variety offered happy from start to finish would definatley reccomend to friends !

I have used this company on numerous occasions for both business and personal reasons and would highly recommend them! Couldn’t trust anyone else for either my clients or personally!

We stayed in a bell tent at a friend's wedding. We were charged £150 per tent for 1 nights stay. We were told that bedding would be included - disappointingly what constitutes as bedding in the eyes of VLE was 1 pillow between 4 people & no sheets on either of the air mattresses!! When I tried to contact VLE after the event the phone number on the invoice has been disconnected & all emails are being ignored!

My wife saw Victoria Lily Events (VLE) at the national wedding show and we booked in advance. We particularly liked that the set up could be done in the venue, which many others couldn't easily do due to access. When we booked reviews looked good and we were happy, price was also reasonable. Read recent reviews and started to worry we would be let down on the day. We paid in full and had not received confirmation of this, we had to constantly chase. As our big day drew nearer we found communication a problem and had to chase several times to get queries answered. E.g. promised a call/text back by 9pm that day, I had to chase 24 hours later. Promised lack of response was because of how busy they had been and then received responses to our emails that made us feel better and we were looking forward to the big day. My best man received a call from VLE an hour before she was due to arrive, called back and she said she was on her way but had broken down on the A3 and was waiting for RAC who would be 30 minutes. I called 45 minutes later and she told me she had just spoken to RAC who had said they were 10 minutes away. I explained that I was concerned that she would not make it and she agreed. VLE promised us a full refund and compensation on top of this, she then sent screen shots to show a refund would be issued from 14th August (date of booking was for 11th August). Money was received on 14th August. also promised a free booking for a future event and told to expect confirmation of this via email. Overall communication was poor and we were let down however we did receive an apology and a prompt refund. At time of writing we are yet to receive the email re: free booking. Advice for others looking to book a photobooth: 1) book local 2) book through a business that allows reviews on their social media pages 3) have a back up plan!

Leaky tents and poor service.

It is over a year since our wedding and, despite repeated attempts made by us to contact the company, we have still not received any photos from our wedding day. Avoid at all costs.
