Horrible customer service at this Westfield Stratford store, not just once but called at several times and it seems like they don’t want to answer any questions regarding their products or stock. I even got one of my colleagues to do this for me so just in case to check if they treat everyone the same and unfortunately he had the same bad experience. I finally made an order online to deliver to the store in Westfield Stratford and later after a few days called to confirm whether they have received it. The lady answering the phone said that they are really busy and just hung up the phone without even listening to me. I will raise a complaint to their head office on this matter.

Never ever again going to order online from this rubbish store! Waiting for ordered item one month which they even not bothered to inform me not have it in the stock anymore!
Calling them few times and received horrible customer service. NOT RESPECT at all. And now to get my money back I need to collect them from the store! I am really disappointed.

I went to return a Shoe Tree at the ALDO in Westfield Stratford which was literally pushed on me to purchase a shoe which was my size but a little close due to the design. Admittedly the service when I bought it at the Oxford Street branch was excellent so i took the advice since I really liked that shoe because they did not have the bigger size in stock.
I went to return the shoe tree at Westfield yesterday evening short before/after 2100 and the Manageress's reaction was shocking. I saw that she was not thrilled that I was returning this item - an accessory, I guess their figures for accessories are very fragile as time after time I have experienced where the sales staff and even to the very end the cashiers try to sell you the same things for cleaning, for protection. I say this because I saw that she was telling the cashier 'no' even before she got to me. So when I said I am sorry I lost my bill she was quick to tell me that a refund is not possible, when I asked if I could have a gift voucher for the 19.99 pounds cost she said NO they do not do Gift Vouchers, when being a long time and frequent customer to Aldo I know this is not the case as well as the fact that the customer before me was just offered one.
She then went on to argue with me after I told her that the Oxford St Branch Manager told me I could return the item if it did not work, she yelled at me saying something along the lines of "... Well he did not know you would have lost your receipt.. Did he?".. Not wanting to be bullied I simply said, "Nor did I".. I later told her that I am aware of my consumer rights. Realising that I am not going to be bullied she then asked her cashier colleague to issue me with a Voucher... Yeah the one they allegedly do not supply.
The fact is; yes, an original receipt is required for a refund to shoe proof of purchase, however the item is Clearly ALDO branded, still in the original box with sku codes all over the box and like new! So the refusal was unnecessary from a customer perspective. The Lie, Aggression and the bully attempt was distasteful and unprofessional. The English culture is reputable for its service culture and despite tight targets, people from different cultures ought to be trained sufficiently to carry on flying this flag of great service.
I love ALDO Shoes, but this experience really does stick out like a sore thumb. Should not go unnoticed.
I would encourage all to push back on these aggression as you a a valuable customer who ought to be treated as such.

Bought a watch for our daughter glass smashed within the hour came back to the shop.
Staff were rude, unapologetic and refused to repair refund not worth buying in this shop or make if they can't stand behind the products they put on the shelfm
