Purchased a lovely corner set from these guys approx 18 months ago and recommended them to a number of my friends... well I did until today. Unfortunately the rain cover for my garden corner suite has got brittle and split in the sun so I called them only to receive quite a snotty attitude from the guy at Moda informing me that it has 12 months warranty and there's nothing more they can do to help me other than sell me a new one at £165... Which apparently is a lot better than the old one... so basically they knew the old one wasn't suitable and fit for purpose beyond a year yet still won't help. At the prices they charge I expect a certain amount of quality backed up excellent customer service, not what I received.

Ordered a table and six chairs at the end of February 2021. No further update about delivery date so phoned them today (late April). Prompt and polite answering, but our stuff is not due into UK until 19 May, so is likely to be end of May (three months from ordering) before we receive it. Not impressed - I think it's reasonable to expect to be kept informed when they are so delayed in delivering - poor customer service on a £2.5k order.

Please if you like good quality items, avoid this crowd, our stuff arrived and the quality is actually shocking, cheaply made badly welded, good from a far but far from good, we had to send the lot back. C service is shocking and its someone at the top making money and not caring, the stuff we had delivered was less than sub-standard. normally you get what you pay for but this doesnt include Moda, Please note

Purchased a corner sofa set last year and have had nothing but issues since! Firstly the table cover ripped and when i emailed was told it wasnt covered under warranty but could buy a new one for £99. Then the paint on our table top was all chipping and all our cushion covers are ruined, they are marked, look like mould marks, all the zips have split and material has frayed but have been told these are also not covered under the 7 year warranty and to find our own seamstress to fix them! Considering the price we paid im shocked. Wont be purchasing anything in the future!! However delivery guys have always been excellent. Terry and Liam are a credit to the company.

I ordered a corner sofa with gas firepit dining table. I couldn't be happier with the service. From having to change my order because I'd ordered the wrong set to delivery I experienced a seamless, helpful, friendly and professional service. Couldn't fault it to be honest. The furniture is perfect and very luxurious.

My husband Roger Tilley has just purchased 3 sets of garden furniture costing more than £10,500. The first delivery had several missing pieces which had to be delivered a couple of days later and I am still waiting for the remainder of the order. Although it will all hopefully arrive within the allotted time frame - they did not notify when they emailed to deliver the order that it was going to come in dribs and drabs! I am very pleased with what has arrived - so pleased in fact that that I wanted to order a couple of extra chairs. Having just telephoned Moda they tell me that the cost of one dining chair is a staggering £390 and the bar stall is £245. They won't give any consideration at all to giving me a discount on this, even though we have placed such a big order with them. This customer service I find is extremely disappointing. So Moda although your furniture is very nice, your customer service leaves a lot to be desired!

5 star for the quality of the product however 0 for customer service. We have been given incorrect cussions on 2 occasions!! I have emailed numerous times and now no longer getting a response! I had at first recommended to about 20 people who about 4 have ordered so far! I have since told them not to bother or cancel the order! Shameful!!

Would not order anything from these. I've just had to get a refund after I placed an order for a dining table in November and they have now let me down after saying I would get it delivered last week. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. I had email confirmations that my products were in stock, yet get let down a week before xmas! They didn't even let me know, it was me chasing them. Not very professional.

*AVOID AT ALL COSTS!* absolute shambles of a company, ordered £2500 worth of furniture which was supposed to be delivered 5 days, it took 3 Months! I understand these are difficult times but there was zero communication, the products that turned up in 2 separate delivery’s over another 2 weeks were damaged! The customer service is by far the worst I have ever had!!! I have been trying to get hold of Moda since June for replacements of the damaged items! After hours and hours of phone calls not answered and 5 emails, copying in the CEO of the company I have had NO correspondence at all! It is clear there is no interest in aftercare for the customers, even from the top! I have been left with a product that is not fit for purpose and I have no-one to escalate it to, I would advise anyone that is thinking of purchasing a product through this company not to do so and anyone that has products on order to cancel them! I do not say these things lightly! Please do not make the same mistake I have! I would guess they may be going under.

Placed an order ages ago - should have arrived early July. Have been trying to get in touch with someone for a while. The calls are not answered. And when I get in touch with the instagram team by messaging them - they keep saying someone will call back. It has been more than a month and yet they have my money and are not even responding. I have emailed several times too - the automated reply says that someone will get back within 5 days. It has been 40. The excuse is that they are busy but the fact that I have called more than 15 times to no one answering the calls. I had one call answered and hung up when I stated I was chasing an order. Do not use this company - one of the worst after sales services I have ever seen. There are obviously delays with Covid - however - that is no excuse to ignore your customers - not reply to emails - and completely provide no update. After looking at other reviews online - it seems they are doing this to most customers and holding on to their money. Its a shame as their products look quite nice - shame they do not provide these products.

Good products (if a little pricey) - but seriously awful customer service. We have been waiting nearly 4 months now for Moda to provide a replacement ignition box for out firepit (actually the outdoor seating was sent to us without any screws and tools to put it together! As well as the broken ignition box). They don't respond to emails for weeks, they promise things over the phone that don't materialise, and to even get through to them on the phone takes nearly 2 hours on hold. Buy their products at your own risk - if you have any sort of issue, expect months for it to be resolved. We won't be buying from them again.

I just want my furniture :-( Placed an order 3 weeks ago, paid in full (£1500) received order confirmation and then absolutely nothing. I’ve since seen repeated negative reviews on Trustpilot that are consistently getting removed and am now concerned that these guys are frauds!! I’ve emailed twice with no response but no response and waited on the phone for 2 hours only to get cut off. Think I’m going to have to raise a dispute with my credit card company.

This is a 1 star rating for customer service. I'm yet to see the quality as my furniture has not arrived. Full payment taken 8 weeks ago. No email confirmation, no email or call updates to explain when delivery may be made. We understand Covid 19 has impacted orders but poor customer service is not acceptable. The delivery times on their website are not true, nobody answers the phone and they delete negative posts from their Facebook,Instagram pages. Not impressed.

Have bought multitude of furniture from them, but recently my 3.5 metre cantilever parasol snapped at the base and they refuse to help as wind damage is "natural causes" !! £750 for an expensive umbrella that is not fit for purpose ... wasn't even up but down and in its cover !! Beware what you buy ...

So much choice, styles to suit anything from large gardens to balconies, 4 different colours. Very friendly and helpful staff, not pushy or over bearing. We had a good look around got some great help and advice and a couple of quotes. We're now looking at which will best suit us and will be back to order.

REVIEW BLOCKED ON TRUSTPILOT see below Paid premium but Delivery delay, charged credit card without dispatching items We paid for a furniture set of table, chairs and footstools. The furniture has been charged to my credit card even though Moda hadn't dispatched the items... well they didn't even have it in stock (as I later found out). This was not shown out of stock online. When I ordered the furniture I paid for £79 premium delivery 1-8 days. I was told a day later that it would then take a month to get my furniture because one of the items was sold out. That was no problem. However, as they had already charged my card, I asked for all the other items to still be honoured and delivered in 1-8 days. They replied in an email for me to call the sales team myself and to 'link' my purchases together. I had actually already requested the purchases to be linked at the time on the online chat & that she would take care of it (I purchased a lamp after I got the furniture and wanted everything to be delivered together). I had already spent quite a bit of time trying to find out specs of some of the products because the website provided no descriptions/specs on some products which is really bizzare. At this point I'm not confident that I would receive my furniture at all so I cancelled my order and purchased a beautiful outdoor set from John Lewis which was incidentally cheaper, with 2 weeks delivery. We phoned Moda on Saturday and cancelled over the phone but have not received any confirmation of the cancellation. If we do not hear from Moda soon, we will be reversing the credit card charges directly with our bank. The website is quite laggy, considerably worse than most sites atm, they listed items with no descriptions or specifications at all so you have to engage with the chat online to find out details, but they were very responsive online chat. Mostly helpful. I however can't believe the reviews ... they are are all 5 stars. I can't be the only customer who has had problems with Moda. follow up: Moda themselves actually got my review above on Trust Pilot (i gave them 3/5 rating) and blocked it and my Trustpilot account within 1/2 an hr of my posting. It appears that I was right to trust my judgement and cancel my order... would hate to see others have the same experience so I would advise folks not to purchase from Moda, if you do only use credit card. Do not use bank transfer or debit card.

Customer service is appalling, no response to emails since early July and phone lines are jammed up, presumably with disgruntled customers. Ordered a corner dining unit and after a few months the parasol and cushions have faded to be nowhere near the original colour. For a company which markets itself on quality, very disappointing. Avoid

Great furniture but stock issues are common. I've had my rattan set for 2 winters now and it has very much stood the test of time and that's without a winter cover. However, I have recommended the furniture to at least 2 people and we've all experienced some sort of issue with either some production defects or things not arriving as promised due to stock issues.

I recently visited the store and was welcomed by a friendly and polite member of staff. My wife and I explained what we required and they pointed us to the furniture that met our requirements. It was delivered on time by 2 gentleman that assembled it in the garden. The showroom was very clean and well presented. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My wife and I visited the showroom in Caterham and was very impressed with both the quality and price. We ordered on line and it was delivered about a week later. As we were both out at work the delivery was placed in our garage and now it is all set up we love it. Cc annotations fault at all and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Our log burner table arrived smashed and 16 weeks later after numerous telephone calls ( never answered ) , emails which they do reply to and then stop responding , I have now given up !!!! . I visited the Caterham Moda Outdoor Furnishings showroom yesterday (28th March 2018) together with my partner, to look at furniture for our newly landscaped garden. We thought the showroom itself was beautifully set out, with items from virtually the entire range all displayed in the same place, in "room settings". This made our task of choosing the items most suitable for our garden much easier and quite enjoyable. We found the staff there to be friendly and very helpful, without being intrusive and once we'd decided on which items we wanted, they were sufficiently flexible on pricing in order to secure a sale. Since our visit, we have already been offered a delivery date, within 7 days of purchase, so assuming that all goes well in terms of delivery and in the longer term, general satisfaction with our new furniture, we'll be very satisfied with the whole Moda experience.

Have been looking for some rattan garden furniture for a while and spotted this showroom close to my parents home town near Caterham, Surrey. Beautiful furniture and good service on the shop floor. Paid for it in full and was told delivery would occur within 1-2 weeks. I was phoned as promised with a delivery date for Saturday 14th July. I was told that the driver would phone when he was an hour away. So far, great service. On Saturday I waited for the promised call and as one hadn't arrived by 1pm, I called Moda. I was informed my delivery wouldn't be made as the van had broken down and that someone was going to call me to explain this. Without going into huge detail, I simply don't believe this. Anyway, I have now been assured that the delivery will happen this Saturday coming and that all will arrive then, except the cover which will arrive at some later undecided date. This was the first time I was told the cover would be delayed. So far, moderate service. So I wait, and will hopefully receive a delivery this Saturday. I am also hopeful that Moda, the company that was once apparently a company called Select Furnishings, finishes the job in the same manner as I was treated on the Caterham shop floor, which was great. It seems a shame to sell such beautiful furniture but allow the experience to be spoilt by poor aftercare and service. I will update this review on Saturday......fingers crossed........... Update: Furniture arrived on Saturday as promised, although not in the time-frame promised. Alas, no all weather cover. I have been advised this will arrive in the next week.
